Easily one of the best robot vacuums, the iRobot Roomba Plus 405 has everything you need to keep the floor tidy to a level that would take hours by hand.
The 405 combines vacuuming and mopping in one smart package, with an AutoWash dock that auto-empties debris and washes/dries mop pads, giving you weeks of hands-off operation.
It uses ClearView LiDAR navigation to map rooms, plan efficient runs, and avoid obstacles even in low light. The new design features dual spinning mop pads that scrub floors, and these pads lift automatically when the unit detects carpet ahead, keeping carpets dry.
The Roomba Plus 405 is one of the best robot vacuums on the market and will make light work of most living rooms. It's now £420 off for Prime Day.
With its claimed 70x suction increase over older Roomba series, it aims to handle pet hair, crumbs and dust across mixed surfaces. A multi-surface rubber brush combats tangles and the edge brush reaches skirting boards.
You can choose modes like vacuum or mop only, combo, or vacuum-then-mop in a pass. Control comes via the useful Roomba Home app, voice assistants, and the device's physical buttons.
While there are some types of carpets that might need some manual intervention, the 405 is capable of handling pretty much any situation, and the fact you can program it to work overnight is especially handy.
