Why you can trust T3

You probably already know that it’s Travel and Outdoor Month here at T3, and this week we’re looking at the very best travel gadgets. That means I’ve been living and breathing the best power banks and best travel adapters lately, and now, there’s a new contender in town.
So far, we’ve only talked about the Chargeasap Flash Pro Ultra in the power bank department, but it’s time to move on to option number two. Say hello to the UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 25000mAh.
UGREEN’s got a solid reputation when it comes to power banks, so it only felt right to include one of its bestsellers in our roundup. I’ve had it in my kit for the past month, and here’s what I think.
UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 25000mAh review: price and availability
The UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 25000mAh has an RRP of £98.99, but it’s currently 24% off on Amazon, dropping it down to £74.99. You can also snag it directly from UGREEN’s online store.
It’s definitely on the pricier end of the power bank spectrum, but as with most premium tech, you get what you pay for.
UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 25000mAh review: design and features
Right out of the box, the Nexode impresses with its 25,000mAh battery, meaning you can charge a MacBook Pro nearly 1.5 times, or your iPhone 15 up to five times.
It’s loaded with ports too, including two USB-C ports (140W and 100W), plus a USB-A port. Both USB-C ports also support input charging up to 65W, so you can recharge the whole unit in around 1.5 to 2 hours if you’ve got a compatible charger.
The USB-A port only goes up to 22.5W, which might be limiting for some. However, with so many gadgets now USB-C, I barely used it. If you’re still heavily reliant on USB-A, you might want to consider a different model.
One of the standout features is its built-in TFT display. It gives you real-time info on battery level, voltage, current, input/output power, and even estimated remaining charge time. It’s one of the nicest screens I’ve seen on a power bank, and feels more premium and way more informative than your usual LED dot indicators.
Despite the big battery, it’s surprisingly compact and weighs just under 600g. It also features rubber feet on one side, so it doesn't slide around on smooth tables or airplane trays.
The Build quality is also top-notch, and after a month of daily use, I’ve seen zero issues. It feels premium, performs reliably, and has that reassuringly solid heft to it. If you know how we do things at T3, you’ll know we’re all about tech that looks and feels as good as it performs, and the Nexode ticks all those boxes.
UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 25000mAh review: is it worth it?
The UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 25000mAh is one of the most impressive travel chargers I’ve tested lately. It has enough juice to power all your devices, and its seriously powerful USB-C ports are a lifesaver.
The standout for me is the built-in TFT display, making other power banks feel outdated. It's also surprisingly compact and travel-friendly, and the premium build gives it that high-end feel you want when you’re investing in a gadget like this.
If you travel often or just hate running out of power, this one's absolutely worth a look.
