Victorinox is no stranger to limited-edition drops, but its latest release might be one of its most eye-catching yet.
The Evoke Wood Damast Limited Edition 2026 is the 17th instalment in the brand’s annual Damast series, taking the familiar Swiss Army Knife formula and elevating it with premium materials and a heavy dose of craftsmanship.
The large blade is forged from Damasteel, featuring a distinctive 115-layer Gysinge pattern that gives the knife its flowing, almost topographic look.

It’s paired with plane tree wood scales, giving each unit a naturally unique finish that sets it apart from Victorinox’s more utilitarian models.
Only 7,000 pieces will be made worldwide, each individually numbered and presented in a premium box with a certificate of authenticity, making this as much a collector’s item as it is a cutting tool.
Steel with a story
The Damasteel blade is built using layered steel techniques inspired by traditional swordsmithing, resulting in a material that balances toughness with edge retention.
With a hardness of around 60 HRC, it’s designed to hold its edge while withstanding repeated use, even if most owners will probably treat it a little more carefully.

The scales are made from plane tree wood, and each handle features its own grain pattern.
Built for collectors, not your keyring
With only 7,000 units available globally, the Evoke Wood Damast Limited Edition 2026 is clearly aimed at collectors and enthusiasts.
The presentation box and certificate of authenticity add to that premium feel, and if previous Damast releases are anything to go by, this one is unlikely to stick around for long.
One thing is for sure: this isn’t the Swiss Army Knife you toss into your hiking bag without a second thought.
Functional, yes, but just as much about owning a small piece of craftsmanship.
The Evoke Wood Damast Limited Edition 2026 is now available at Victorinox UK and Victorinox EU for the recommended price of £399 / €399 (~$466 / AU$660).
