Sony PS Vita UK release to see Vodafone 3G offering
Smartphone retailer come network provider Vodafone has confirmed that it is to offer the upcoming PS Vita handheld games console when the 3G enabled device launches later this month.
Bringing the 3G connectivity packing Vita to its PAYG network plans Vodafone has confirmed that it will play host to Sony’s next-generation portable console with eager gamers to be rewarded with a free game when they top up their 3G data allowances.

Confirmed as coming to Vodafone direct at launch the Sony PlayStation Vita UK release date has been set for February 22nd.
“The PlayStation Vita 3G will be coming to Vodafone stores for £279,” said an official spokesperson for the network provider. “This includes a free 4GB memory card, a PAYG SIM card which when topped up with £5 will get you a free downloadable game - WipEout 2048 and 250 MB of data lasting up to 30 days with full Vodafone 3G connectivity.
“Vodafone 3G gives customers access to the PlayStation Network, offering instant messaging, the ability to share and compare gaming Trophies, as well as admission to the PlayStation Network Store and downloadable social network apps such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.”
