Following yesterday's official unveiling of the Motorola Xoom 2 Moto has officially unveiled how much the device will set wannabe owners back with a Motorola Xoom 2 price set at £379.99
Having outed the newly slimmed down follow up to the company's first foray into the tablet market the Motorola Xoom 2 will sport a sub £400 price tag and less heft than its predecessor.

In an attempt to further bring the fight to Apple and its market dominating 9.7-inch tablet, the iPad 2, Motorola has undercut its fruity based rival on price but only just.
For 16GB of internal storage and Wi-Fi only connectivity Moto has confirmed that a Motorola Xoom 2 price has been set at £379.99, £20 cheaper than the similarly specced iPad 2.
Sporting a 1.2GHz dual-core processor the Xoom 2 should be on the better side of nippy with a rear-mounted 5-megapixel camera to touch down alongside 1GB of RAM and the 10.1-inch HD display. A second, 1.3-megapixel camera can be found on the front with splash-guard nano technology protecting the device against spills and splashes.
Disappointingly running version 3.2 of Google's Android Honeycomb OS as opposed to the recently unveiled Ice Cream Sandwich the Motorola Xoom 2 will line up at just 8.8 mm thick and 599 grams in weight. A Motorola Xoom 2 release date has been pencilled in for mid-November.
