Honor's cheeky Magic V6 deal makes it far cheaper than Samsung's Z Fold 8

This week saw Samsung's second major Unpacked event of 2026 – and the reveal of its all-new Galaxy Z Fold 8 folding phone.

Not that Samsung is the only producer of the best folding phones, of course, with plenty of competition to keep things interesting.

Honor is one such major competitor, whose latest device, the Magic V6, is now on sale in the UK. It was already available with a discount promotion – but Unpacked has seen Honor make an even more enticing deal.

That marks Honor's full-size foldable as cheaper than either the Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Z Fold 8 Ultra – by at least a couple of hundred Pounds.

While Samsung has moved to silicon-carbon battery tech for its latest releases, Honor is onto its third-generation of this technology, offering a far more capacious battery.

Indeed, the 6660mAh cell in the UK product is almost 40% greater than what you'll find in the Z Fold 8 – and that'll translate to greater longevity.

If you like the sound of that and Honor's Ultra-rivalling phone is the one for you, then you've got until the end of July to jump on this deal.

It's available via Honor's Store only, where you'll need to register for the £600 discount to apply. There's more, too, as 'bundle offers' will add additional goodies at no extra cost.
