Why you can trust T3
When it comes to watch storage, there are a number of different options available to you. If you've already amassed a larger collection, seeking out one of the best watch boxes is a great idea, allowing you to house multiple pieces in one place.
If you've got a smaller collection, or just need a way to carry your watches with you when you travel, snagging one of the best watch rolls is a must. These small cases are often crafted from leather, and allow you to safely and securely house a handful of watches as you travel.
Recently, I've been testing out the Bennett Winch Triple Watch Roll, to see if it's worthy of your hard-earned cash. Let's dive in and take a closer look.
Bennett Winch Triple Watch Roll review: price and availability
The Bennett Winch Watch Roll collection comes in a variety of different forms. The brand offers double and single options, but my review unit is the largest triple watch roll. All of the options are available in brown and black colourways – mine is the brown.
Either option comes with a green interior, which nicely matches with the green hue of the brand's olive-toned products, like the Bennett Winch Backpack I reviewed recently. You'll pay £685 / €825 / US$1,050 / AU$1,350 for the largest model as shown here, with the smaller versions costing a little less each time.
Bennett Winch Triple Watch Roll review: key specs
The model is crafted from Grade I Italian leather, and lined with a mix of Alcantara and Kevlar. The outer leather is sublimely soft, and smells absolutely incredible – be sure to savour the unboxing experience!
Alcantara is incredibly soft, and helps to ensure the precious watches you store within are kept scratch-free and safe. The Kevlar provides some rigidity, and should help to keep things safe from knocks and bumps.

The roll is secured with a trio of brass poppers, with a hexagonal design which unfurls to lay flat behind the base. That gives you a space to pop the watches down when off the roll, which is one of those things which shows off the intelligent design.
Another is the central holder for the watches. That's really soft, which means even those with small wrists can use bracelets with this roll.
Bennett Winch Triple Watch Roll review: performance
Let me kick off by talking about the softness of that central holder, because it's something really important to me. As someone with smaller wrists, I've used other watch rolls where the stiffness of that piece made it impossible to use with bracelets. And when you're paying a few hundred pounds a time for these, that's a problem.
I had no such issue with this model, making it a top pick for absolutely anyone. The roll also features a pair of protectors in side, which can move freely inside to accommodate watches of different sizes. Those are also hexagonal, which is a simple piece of engineering which keeps everything in one place while moving.
You'll notice that each of the panels which make up the hexagonal outer shell also has a padded section, which helps to keep everything in place and protected. It's one of those designs which never ceases to amaze, with small pieces of engineering which just feel inspired.
Bennett Winch Triple Watch Roll review: verdict
If you're looking for the best possible way to protect, store and transport a handful of luxury watches, you've found it. Every square millimetre of this is crafted to perfection, with intelligent design choices throughout.
Of course the price is an obvious sticking point. For similar cash, you could buy some decent watches from brands like Seiko, or low end Christopher Ward models. But that shouldn't put you off.
After all, if you've curated a collection of watches worth hundreds – or even thousands – you're going to want to give them the best chance of protection. That's exactly what this watch roll offers.
Bennett Winch Triple Watch Roll review: also consider
The most well known watch roll out there is probably the Wolf Blake watch roll. That's a little cheaper, though it does suffer from the stiff inner holder I mentioned above.
Another which piqued my interest is the Rapport London Hyde Park watch roll. That's a unique design which fits a single watch roll in as the middle part of a three watch roll, which offers one, two or three watch options in one package.
