Roborock Saros 20 Neo: Because life is tough enough without having to clean the floor

Life can seem like a series of chores. Make breakfast, walk the dog, go to work, pick up the kids. Where’s the time to relax and enjoy yourself? When you’ve already had a busy day, the last thing you want to be worrying about is vacuuming or mopping your floors.

Of all the household tasks, cleaning your floors is the most demanding, both physically and in terms of time, so having that taken off your hands not only saves precious hours in the day, but also takes away that stress and leaves you free to put your feet up.

The Roborock Saros 20 Neo is more than just a smart robot vacuum cleaner; it’s the key to a happier life and a cleaner home. With this robo vac, you can come home each day to floors that are freshly cleaned and mopped – even those spots you would normally struggle to reach with a regular vacuum.

Going where other vacuums can’t

This isn’t just any robovac; the Roborock Saros 20 Neo can lift itself over thresholds or steps of up to 8.8 cm, allowing it to reach areas where other vacuums can’t. It can even cope with those thick-pile carpets, up to 3cm. Plus, it can get lower than ever, squeezing under sofas and units with a height of just 7.95cm from the ground.

When it comes to picking up dust and dirt, the Saros 20 Neo can outperform handheld vacuums too. While 15,000 to 20,000Pa is considered impressive, it offers a 36,000Pa Hyper Force Suction, which means it can lift even stubborn dirt and debris from your floors. Plus, it combines a FlexiArm Arc Side Brush to reach out beyond the vacuum and a DuoDivide Main Brush that is designed to handle even long hair without getting tangled.

When it comes to hard surfaces, the Saros 20 Neo’s mopping abilities come into their own. It scrubs away tough stains using warm water, up to 20 Newtons of pressure and 200 RPM spinning speed. Plus, when it’s finished mopping, it washes the mop in 100ºC water and dries it using 55ºC warm air.

Set it and forget it

The real beauty of a class-leading robot vacuum and mop device such as the Saros 20 Neo is that once you’ve set it up, you don’t have to worry about it again. The SmartPlan 3.0 cleaning system not only learns your home layout, but also analyses floor materials and user cleaning habits. Then it will adjust the suction power, water flow and mop strength to suit what is being cleaned.

Thanks to advanced obstacle avoidance, it can recognise over 300 different objects on your floor, so it can avoid them and concentrate on cleaning around them – from kids' toys to dog bowls, plants and even pets themselves. The automatic pet recognition keeps track of where your pet is, avoids startling it by pausing cleaning or changing its path, and can even take pics or video calls so you can drop in on your pooch while away from home.

Thanks to the new multifunctional dock, even maintaining your vacuum becomes a breeze. From auto dust emptying to mop washing and the refilling of detergent and warm water, everything is automated, with enough capacity for up to 65 days of cleaning.

You can set your Saros 20 Neo to come on while you’re out at work or while you sleep using the automated routines, or control it directly through the app, through your smart home system thanks to Alexa, Siri and Google Home compatibility, or simply with your voice, as it has its own built-in voice assistant that even works without WiFi.

Your floors are one less thing on your mind

Despite all the high-tech features on the Saros 20 Neo, the biggest benefit is that you’ll never have to worry about the state of your floors again. You know that, whatever happens, it will keep your carpets dirt-free and your floors freshly mopped, so that you can focus your attention on other things, or just enjoy some downtime when you get home.

The Roborock Saros 20 Neo comes in black or white finishes to match your room and is available to buy directly from Roborock.com or via Amazon, now just £749.
