QUICK SUMMARY

Dreame has launched its first-ever smart locks – the Navo Smart Lock A10 and Safio Lock Turbo Lite – both offering multiple unlocking methods and strong smart home integration.

For now, they’re only available in the US, with a wider release yet to be confirmed.

Dreame has launched its first-ever smart locks after months of anticipation. The Dreame Navo Smart Lock A10 and the Dreame Safio Lock Turbo Lite feature multiple unlocking methods, with the Turbo Lite also offering up to 12 months of battery life.

For now though, both models have launched exclusively in the US, so it might be a while before those of us in the UK or Europe can get our hands on them. That said, given how widely Dreame’s products – especially its best robot vacuum cleaners – are already available here, there’s a strong chance these will make their way over eventually.

We’ve actually been waiting on the Safio Lock A10 since it first appeared at CES earlier this year, later appearing in a CSA listing confirming compatibility with Matter.

In terms of specs, the A10 is rated BHMA Grade 2, making it suitable for both residential use and some light commercial settings. Dreame says it offers fast, quiet unlocking thanks to its TurboForce Lightning Unlock tech, alongside an IP65 rating for outdoor durability. You can unlock it in multiple ways too, including fingerprint and keypad, all controlled via the Dreame app or other Matter-supported platforms.

On the other hand, the Safio Lock Turbo Lite leans more into Apple’s ecosystem. It’s fully compatible with Apple Home and Home Key, meaning you can unlock your door with an iPhone or Apple Watch and manage access through the Apple Home app.

It also boasts up to 12 months of battery life, one-touch indoor controls, and a range of access options including fingerprint, PIN, NFC card and a physical key. It’s slightly less hard-wearing than the A10 with an IP54 rating, but still designed to be durable thanks to its aluminium build.

We’ll keep you updated if and when a wider global launch is announced.
