Google Glass will be launching later this year to those earlybirds who were willing to shell out over £900 for a pair, of course if you didn't make the list there's always eBay
Google Glass appears on eBay for $16,000
Hottest concept tech
A pair of Google Glass glasses appeared on eBay reaching the astonishing price of over $16,000 before the listing was removed, presumably at the request of Google.
Google recently announced that a selected few would be entitled to become 'Glass Explorers' for the substantial sum of $1,500 allowing them to become some of the first people in the world to own a pair of the smart glasses.
Using a heads-up display on the right eye, the glasses are able to display a high-resolution image in the corner of your vision letting you take pictures, have video-chats and use Google Navigation.
Not only are the glasses voice-activated but they'll also be able to connect to your iPhone or Android smartphone via Bluetooth, you'll then be able to use the 3G/4G signal to ask questions, search for directions and use Google Hangout.
Google has confirmed that they will be launching Google Glass to the public but not till much later in the year so it's understandable that many would jump at the chance to be an early adopter of this new tech.
