FIFA developer EA Sports has offered an added incentive to wannabe FIFA Street owners with those who pre-order the title from “leading retailers” to be offered an exclusive all-star team featuring the world’s leading player Lionel Messi.
Making up one member of the ‘adidas all-star team’ the pre-order exclusive inclusion of Messi will see the Argentinean Barcelona ace partnered with 12 of the world’s greatest players.
Further tempting gamers to pre-order the FIFA Street revival those who splash out of the football sim prior to the official FIFA Street release date in March 2012 will also be rewarded with access to the ‘Lionel Messi Barcelona Venue’ a location inspired by the city’s iconic Placa de Catalunya and designed in collaboration with the man himself.
FIFA Street Release
"The all-star adidas team will be a must-have for street football fans wanting to play with the most stylish and skilled team in the game," Sid Misra, Lead Producer on FIFA Street said. "Along with the iconic environment inspired by Plaça de Catalunya, our fans will enjoy the added flavour and depth that this special pre-order offer delivers."
Having previously been the poster boy for the franchise’s bitter rival, Pro Evolution Soccer, EA announced Messi as the new global face of FIFA last month.
