Second-gen iPad does the rounds ahead of official unveiling
Apple iPad 2 official looking picture leaks ahead of launch
An official looking render of the upcoming Apple iPad 2 has appeared online just days ahead of the tablet’s official unveiling on March 2nd.
Appearing on tech blog BGR, the image, which was reportedly supplied by an unnamed tipster, shows off what is claimed to be the second-generation Apple tablet with a number of key new feature additions on display.
Touting a rear-facing camera, larger back-mounted speaker and a slimmer, flat-backed form factor the leaked iPad 2 image appears to confirm a number of the widely expected additions to this week’s unveiling. Whilst as with all things Apple this render is by no means an official release but does sport Apple’s trademark look, hinting towards the leak of an official image.
Earlier today the front, screen-encapsulating, façade of the iPad 2 was snapped away from the rest of the tablet’s body. Whilst this might not sound all too special, the façade that was caught out in the wild was a white model, suggesting this week’s Apple event could see a lighter-hued device launching alongside the standard black offering.
