Re-up your kitchen and home with the latest tech, cookware and kitchen gadgets plus what to expect on Amazon Prime Day

Best Amazon Prime Day home and kitchen deals

Amazon Prime Day hone and kitchen deals start in just two days. What should you expect? Discounts on all the product types and specific products collated below. That’s both at Amazon and in all the competing summer sales. Technically Amazon Prime ‘Day’ runs from June 21-22 – yes, that’s 2 days. However there are also deals aplenty in the days immediately before and after that. We'll bring you all the best Prime Day deals as they appear, but before then, what kind of savings should you expect?

Having covered Prime Day for years, I have a pretty good idea of what will be in the sales when it comes to the best Amazon Prime Day kitchen and home deals, and also what you, the people, actually shop for. Here are the best Amazon deals in (most of) the English speaking world right now.

• Shop Amazon UK home and kitchen Prime Day deals

• Shop Amazon USA home and kitchen Prime Day deals

• Shop Amazon Australia home and kitchen Prime Day deals

• Shop Amazon Canada home and kitchen Prime Day deals

This is a broad category but the most popular items each year tend to be the best coffee makers, especially from Delonghi, the best vacuum cleaners, especially from Shark and useful kitchen gadgets. Instant Pot deals are always sought after, but with practically everyone in the world who wanted one now having bought a smart pressure cooker from Instant Pot or a rival brand, this year's Prime Day attention is likely to turn to the best air fryers. Oh, and the other one that loads of punters want – without fail – is a Sodastream. Seriously, it's like everyone wakes up on Prime Day with an inexplicable thirst for home-carbonated water.

The great thing about shopping for kitchen and home deals is that product life spans tend to be way longer than in most areas of consumer tech. There's not seen as being any shame in buying an air fryer from 2 years ago, or an older Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner as it will do the same job just as well as newer models.

Away from things with electronics and moving parts, there will be great deals to be had on the best non-stick pans and saucepan sets and yes, TikTok users, that will include some of the best Le Creuset deals you'll see all year.

Speaking of which, here's a rundown of the best Amazon Prime Day home and kitchen deals we're expecting.

The best early Prime Day home and kitchen deals running now

SodaStream Spirit | RRP: £100 | Now: £50 | Save £50 (50%)
Half price!

SodaStream Spirit <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB01MSZ58DO%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| RRP: £100 | Now: £50 | Save £50 (50%)
SodaStream always brings it on Amazon Prime Day and this year it has SLASHED 50% off its SodaStream Spirit carbonation… machine… thing. You will need to quite literally 'get busy with the fizzy' as this offer ends on June 22. This is a great saving on a device that can make literally anything into a fizzy drink, from water to milk. Go on now: you must try it with milk.

Philips Viva Collection Airfryer XXL| RRP: £320 | Now: £250 | Save £70 (22%) at Amazon UK

Philips Viva Collection Airfryer XXL <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB077ZFCZT3%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| RRP: £320 | Now: £250 | Save £70 (22%) at Amazon UK
The pick of the Philips deals so far is this XXL air fryer. It's #1 in our air fryers top 10 due to its ease of use and consistently fine cooking results. As the name suggests, it can cook a lot of food in one go, which isn't true of all air fryers by any means – it can do 1.4kg of fries or a whole chicken, in fact.

Tower T17023 Air Fryer | RRP: £45 | Now: £28 | Save £17 at Amazon UK

Tower T17023 Air Fryer <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB077BXFQWM%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| RRP: £45 | Now: £28 | Save £17 at Amazon UK
This is another type of product that tends to do well on Prime Day: cheap products that are reduced to an even cheaper price. If you are on a budget or just want to dip your toe into air frying, you can't really go wrong with an air fryer that costs about 30 quid. Features here are limited to a 30-minute timer and a temperature control but you do also get a three-year warranty.

Shark Powered Lift-Away NZ801UKT | RRP: £350 | Now: £219 | Save £131 (37%) at Amazon UK

Shark Powered Lift-Away NZ801UKT <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB07WQH7TJ4%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| RRP: £350 | Now: £219 | Save £131 (37%) at Amazon UK
Shark makes some great vacs. They not only clean well, they give every appearance of being able to survive a nuclear holocaust. This one is an upright that 'lifts away' from its base to become a cylinder vac, for powerful whole-house cleaning. It's gone from £101 off to £131 off in the last 3 days.

Bosch IXO 6

Bosch IXO 6 <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB08KLPJ5BP%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| was £53 | Now £35 | Save £18
With variable speed – just squeeze the trigger lighter or harder to slow down or speed up – this latest iteration of the IXO electric screwdriver is handier than ever. At just £35, it would be most foolish to turn this offer down:

Bosch IXO 5 | Was £45 | Now £22.50 | Save £22.50 (half price!)

Bosch IXO 5 <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB00XI610R0%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">| Was £45 | Now <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB00XI610R0%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">£22.50 | Save £22.50 (half price!)
But wait, what's this? The IXO 5 offers practically identical performance to the IXO 6 and today it is at a pocket money price that makes the 6 look positively overpriced. As an added bonus, it looks much more like a Star Trek phaser than the IXO 5. No variable speed here, however.

Bosch Professional 12V System GSR 12V-35 Cordless Drill/Driver | was £135 | now £77 | Save £58

Bosch Professional 12V System GSR 12V-35 Cordless Drill/Driver <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB07R2FGH4Z%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| was £135 | now £77 | Save £58
If an IXO seems a bit namby-pamby for your tastes, feast your eyes on this Bosch blue pro drill/driver. It offers 35Nm or torque and a top no-load speed of 1,750rpm. That might be a bit excessive for putting a Billy bookcase together, though. Please note this deal does not include a battery.

Philips OneBlade Hybrid | was £60 | Now £30 | Save £30 – half price!

Philips OneBlade Hybrid <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB078HGGYGJ%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| was £60 | Now £30 | Save £30 – half price!
With four different length combs, this is a complete beard, face and body grooming tool, yet it takes up practically no room at all. The OneBlade, erm, blades are extremely effective, while the textured handle is easy to grip. This bundle also comes with a spare blade, so you shouldn't need a replacement until 2022. Equal lowest price ever on Amazon!

Buy Philips OneBlade Pro | Was £90 | Now £55 | Save £35

Buy Philips OneBlade Pro <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB01FFSI896%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| Was £90 | Now £55 | Save £35
Rather than having four interchangeable combs, the Pro OneBlade has one comb – or is it OneComb? – that can be flicked between 14 different length settings. This is a good upgrade, as is the slightly nicer metallic body. The end results are the same as the Hybrid model, and you don't get a spare blade, however.

Philips OneBlade Replacement Blade - Pack of 3 | Was £30.50 | Now £23 | Save £7.50

Philips OneBlade Replacement Blade - Pack of 3 <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB073PD6YRQ%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| Was £30.50 | Now £23 | Save £7.50
There you go, a whole year's supply of replacement blades. This price is the cheapest they've been this year. It's possible that around Black Friday they may be even cheaper. Given the rate of inflation, however, probably not. Fill your boots!

Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker | Was £90 | Now £50 | Save £40 (33%)

Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB00OP26T4K%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| Was £90 | Now £50 | Save £40 (33%)
Yes, it's an Instant Pot! This seems to be the UK's top seller this year so far and is genuinely excellent when it comes to cooking meals, despite looking a bit like a child's toy. You would struggle to find a decent non-smart pressure cooker for £50, so the appeal is clear.

Shark Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner | Was £399 | Now £229 | Save £170

Shark Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB082QJK7VV%3Fth%3D1%26tag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| Was £399 | Now £229 | Save £170
You have partially missed the boat on this one, as the scarlet-trimmed model of this that Amazon had on earlier for £199 promptly sold out. However £229 for the orange version is not to be sniffed at, and is also arguably a nicer colour.

Ninja Foodi Air Fryer [AF300UK] | Was £120 | Now £108 | Save £12

Ninja Foodi Air Fryer [AF300UK] <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB08LR3G17D%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| Was £120 | Now £108 | Save £12
The main deal also sold out here but it wouldn't surprise me if it came back. You can still get discounts on the smaller versions of this much-loved air fryer. Make chips and fried chicken with way less fat yet all (okay, most) of the flavour. Living the dream!

Finish All-in-One Max Dishwasher Tablets | Was £26 | Now £10.50 | Save £15.50

Finish All-in-One Max Dishwasher Tablets <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB07VM1HQDJ%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| Was £26 | Now £10.50 | Save £15.50
Okay, this one is also not too glamorous, but no surprises here. Packs of dishwasher tablets always sell extremely well on Prime Day. Unlike with the toilet paper, you can see the logic of this as buying cheap dishwasher tablets in bulk makes a lot of sense.

TP-Link Tapo Smart Plug Wi-Fi Outlet | Was £13 | Now £8 | Save £5

TP-Link Tapo Smart Plug Wi-Fi Outlet <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB07Z942YWS%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| Was £13 | Now £8 | Save £5
A very affordable way to turn a plug socket into a smart plug socket. Just plug in a multiplug and now, via Alexa or Google Home – or TP-LInk's app – you can turn on (or off) all your AV equipment in one go. Also handy for all the stuff plugged into your home office multi-plug. At this price, you might as well buy a load…

ASOBEAGE Toilet Brush | Was £15.99 | Now £15.99

ASOBEAGE Toilet Brush <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB07YWHC5T4%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">| Was £15.99 | Now £15.99
So, I have absolutely no idea why this was a smash hit today. The deal has now ended but it may return tomorrow. ASOBEAGE is a 'Deep Cleaner Silicone Toilet Brush' that promises a 'No-Slip Long Plastic Handle', which is what you want when you are cleaning your toilet, and don't want to let it slip.

I find it very hard to believe this is the <a href="https://www.t3.com/news/i-love-this-bosch-ixo-screwdriver-and-now-you-can-get-one-for-next-to-nothing-for-prime-day" data-link-merchant="t3.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">best Bosch tool deal of Amazon Prime Day, but we are all spending more time in our gardens nowadays, and this does look handy for – let me check my notes here – 'edging'. Nearly half price, too. Adjustable heads cater for all your topiary and lawn edging needs.<a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8434&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB00GZLFQB6%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"" data-link-merchant="t3.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">

Wait, bog roll was one of the biggest sellers of Prime Day? Is panic buying happening again and nobody told me?! This is probably down to Spencer Hart and his guide to <a href="https://www.t3.com/features/8-little-extras-you-should-put-in-your-amazon-prime-day-basket-right-now" data-link-merchant="t3.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">'little extras' for your Prime Day basket.

SodaStream Prime Day deals in 2021

SodaStream has confirmed that they will be doing their SodaStream Spirit machine – in black only – for £49.99 on Prime Day, ie: now-ish. "A sparkling saving of 50%," they chirrup! So, er, don't buy a SodaStream machine before that deal starts, would be my advice.

Prime Day is THE day to 'get busy with the fizzy'. That is the inspired slogan that SodaStream used in the 1980s although mystifyingly, the brand now seems to have dropped it. Back then, SodaStream also sold little sachets of branded, fizzy drink concentrate so you could make an approximation of your own Coca-Cola or Dr Pepper. The 80s was just better. SodaStream has ditched that idea too, so nowadays its carbonation machines are mainly for making delicious, low-calorie sparkling water. Although you could use them to make fizzy orange squash or… fizzy milk? Come on, I bet everyone with a SodaStream tries to do that at least once.

• Shop all SodaStream deals at Amazon

Anyway, for whatever reason, SodaStream is HUGE on Prime Day. That's partly for the same reason that robot vacuum cleaners (see below) are big Prime Day sellers: people want to try something new in the sales. So maybe 2021 is the year that you get busy with the fizzy. They really should bring that slogan back.

Coffee machine Prime Day deals in 2021

Two types of coffee machine do well on Prime Day. The best Nespresso machines hurtle off the shelves like caffeine-addled bunny rabbits and, for some reason, Delonghi bean to cup coffee machines always do really well. And I do mean very specifically Delonghi ones, due to aggressive discounting and high brand awareness, presumably. The likes of our Platinum Award-winning PrimaDonna Soul will be highly sought after but what you are much more likely to find are older and simpler Delonghi machines.

• Browse for Delonghi coffee machine deals at Amazon

If you are looking for something nearer the top end of the market, there are deals on Sage coffee machines every year. There's usually one from the Creatista range and you might get lucky and find a cheap Sage Oracle Touch. This range-topping creation normally costs several thousand, but it's been out for over 5 years now and could see discounts this Prime Day.

Vacuum cleaner and robot vacuum cleaner Prime Day deals in 2021

Some of the best cordless vacuum cleaners money can buy are likely to be on sale, come Amazon Prime Day. And, come to that, some of the best vacuum cleaners that aren't cordless.

First up, we know that on Prime Day, Halo Capsule will be £199 and come with no fewer than 52 cleaner bags – because they told us so. You will see from our Halo Capsule review that it is a bagged cordless vac, which is quite unusual.

What you won't see at Amazon are super savings on Dyson vacs – although Dyson itself may have a sale to run parallel with Amazon's, and there's the chance of Dyson discounts at John Lewis or Currys.

Speaking of which, there's a Currys Epic Deals sale on right now!

What you most certainly will see at Amazon are Shark deals. This vac brand is possibly the UK market leader at this point and it's definitely #1 on Amazon. Its vacuum cleaners are always getting big discounts but it takes mega sales events such as Amazon Prime Day very seriously, and tends to save some of the very best Shark vacuum cleaner deals for them.

• Shop for Shark vacuum cleaner deals at Amazon

But the type of vac that everyone really wants on Prime Day is a robot. This makes sense, as most people are intrigued by the idea of having a robo-cleaner, but don't want to pay full whack for one. While there are likely to some deals on the best robot vacuum cleaners from well-known brands such as Dyson, iRobot and Neato, the real value will be on the Chinese brands such as Anker offshoot Eufy, Roborock, Deebot and so on. The improvements in robot vac technology in recent years have been quite astounding, and you can now get quite affordable robots that clean well and navigate with almost scary reliability. The best Prime robot vacuum cleaner deals will be well worth 'hoovering' up.

Air fryer Prime Day deals in 2021

What is an air fryer? Well you might ask, but one thing is for sure: they are very popular in 2021. Proving that, if you wait long enough, absolutely everything will become a red-hot product loved by Instagram users air fryers have now somehow gone from being considered a bit basic to being bang on trend.

In fact, they've taken the place of Instant Pots as the must-have kitchen gadget du jour. Sure, they are just small ovens that are a pain in the ass to clean and take up loads of precious worktop space. But they also turn out tasty chips, fried chicken and a plethora of other staples with minimal fat and effort required. Healthy and simple is a winning formula, clearly.

• Shop for air fryer deals at Amazon

The good news here is that Shark's sister brand Ninja also tends to go for big Prime Day discounts, which means you could well snap up a Ninja Foodi at a great price. People love this product because it is both an Instant Pot-style smart multi-cooker AND an air fryer, in one. Follow the link above and you'll find it's already got £25 off.

The likes of Tower, Breville and Instant Vortex – which is Instant Pot's own air fryer spin-off brand – are also likely to see savings. Our favourites, Philips and Tefal air fryers, will too. Because Philips and Tefal products are always on sale.

In fact, it would not surprise us if every product in our best air fryers chart got deals, discounts and double savings on Amazon Prime Day.

Instant Pot Prime Day deals

Back in the days before air fryers were the hottest kitchen gadget around, Instant Pots were massive. They're still big now, but I think everyone who wants one has already bought one. For that reason, you can expect plenty of deals on certain models within the insanely huge Instant Pot range. The best one is clearly the Instant Pot Duo Crisp, as that is both an Instant Pot and an air fryer. That really is the both of best worlds, so it probably won't be on sale… but there will definitely be some Instant Pot deals on Amazon Prime Day.

• Shop Instant Pot deals at Amazon

If you aren't familiar with Instant Pots, they are electric casserole dishes/Dutch ovens with a lid that seals tightly. That means they can work as slow cookers, pressure cookers, rice cookers and various other types of one-pot cooker. With some excellent presets and a wealth of Instant Pot recipes online, they reliably make great food even if you have no idea how to cook.

Bosch tools Prime Day deals

Every Amazon Prime Day (and Black Friday), Bosch cordless drills are a big seller and with everyone going home improvement mad over the last year or so, that's likely to be repeated in 2021.

• Shop for Bosch tools deals at Amazon

The sheer size of Bosch's range can be rather daunting but remember that the blue ones are more 'pro', and aimed at people who drill/sand/cut things for a living, while the green range is specifically for DIY. That doesn't mean that you can't use the blue ones for DIY of course, and if you see big discounts on Bosch Blue, by all means snap them up. Also look out for deals on IXO, Bosch's cute little electric screwdriver. It's not much use for putting big screws through bricks, but it's bloody great for assembling flatpack furniture.

KitchenAid mixer Prime Day deals in 2021

Another surefire smash hit every Amazon Prime Day is the classic KitchenAid stand mixer. Kenwood may have breezed past this kitchen icon when it comes to advanced features, but people just can't resist the stand mixer's iconic style, total simplicity and legendary longevity.

• Shop for KitchenAid mixer deals at Amazon

KitchenAid makes a bafflingly huge number of variants of its stand mixer, so keep your eyes glued to these widgets if you want the very cheapest prices that high-tech shopping bots can dredge up.

Le Creuset Prime Day deals in 2021

Of course, we have an entire page devoted to the best Le Creuset deals but they are worth their own entry here. After all, no Amazon Prime shopping day would be complete without at least considering buying one of their delicious casseroles – or 'Dutch ovens' if you're American. You should also look out for savings on their stainless steel and non-stick ranges but there's no doubt that the prestige item here is the enamelled cast iron casserole.

• Shop all Le Creuset deals at Amazon

The prices of the casseroles fluctuate wildly, and different colours cost different amounts too. However, although some of the more, ahem, 'experimental' colours are more likely to be discounted, don't let anyone tell you that in order to get a cheap Le Creuset Dutch oven, you have to settle for a crap colour.

The sales don't end there, folks

Here are some of our favourite products – and your favourites too, dare we say – that are very likely to be on sale over the coming week. Duncan Bell

Duncan is the former lifestyle editor of T3 and has been writing about tech for almost 15 years. He has covered everything from smartphones to headphones, TV to AC and air fryers to the movies of James Bond and obscure anime. His current brief is everything to do with the home and kitchen, which is good because he is an excellent cook, if he says so himself. He also covers cycling and ebikes – like over-using italics, this is another passion of his. In his long and varied lifestyle-tech career he is one of the few people to have been a fitness editor despite being unfit and a cars editor for not one but two websites, despite being unable to drive. He also has about 400 vacuum cleaners, and is possibly the UK's leading expert on cordless vacuum cleaners, despite being decidedly messy. A cricket fan for over 30 years, he also recently become T3's cricket editor, writing about how to stream obscure T20 tournaments, and turning out some typically no-nonsense opinions on the world's top teams and players.

Before T3, Duncan was a music and film reviewer, worked for a magazine about gambling that employed a surprisingly large number of convicted criminals, and then a magazine called Bizarre that was essentially like a cross between Reddit and DeviantArt, before the invention of the internet. There was also a lengthy period where he essentially wrote all of T3 magazine every month for about 3 years.

A broadcaster, raconteur and public speaker, Duncan used to be on telly loads, but an unfortunate incident put a stop to that, so he now largely contents himself with telling people, "I used to be on the TV, you know."
