You can expect notes of florals, tropical fruits, sea salt, and amber, so there’s something for everyone. Here are the best nine new men’s fragrances from July 2026 that you should add to your collection.

The Dyson Supersonic Travel has appeared among Amazon's deals page after launching back in April. It's part of the retailer's limited-time deals, with 15% off taking the price down to just under £212.

We gave the Supersonic Travel an impressive five stars in our review, and I was particularly impressed by its compact design, universal voltage and compatibility with existing Supersonic attachments.

So, if you spotted it when it first launched but weren't quite ready to take the plunge, you can now pick it up for even less.

This is the first time the Supersonic Travel has been discounted on Amazon, and it's currently not reduced anywhere else, making this a particularly good time to buy.

At the time of writing, just 7% of the available deal stock has been claimed, so I reckon this offer will stick around for a little while longer. However, once the stock allocated to the deal is gone, it's gone – so it's worth grabbing one whilst you still can.

Aldi has just added two new LED beauty gadgets to its stores, a.k.a the last thing I ever thought I’d see Aldi sell. Featuring a face sculptor and hairbrush, the LED collection uses red light therapy and vibrations to enhance your skincare and haircare – but I’m not convinced you should buy them.

Aldi has gone beyond just selling groceries and toiletries. Over the past couple of years, the global supermarket chain has become known for its middle aisle which has become packed full of kitchen appliances, garden furniture and even barbecues.

But this latest launch has surprised me more than all the others, as Aldi has just introduced an LED Face Sculptor and LED Hairbrush to its stores. This isn’t the first time Aldi has branched out in LED skincare, as it has previously launched an LED face mask and LED wand which are also returning to Aldi stores this weekend.

Among the new launches is the LED Face Sculptor which uses red light therapy and vibrations to tone and lift your skin. It looks similar to the Shark FacialPro Glow which glides across the face to cleanse, hydrate and depuff the skin.

I imagine the Aldi LED Face Sculptor offers a similar action but in a much simpler way. Where the Shark FacialPro Glow comes with multiple attachments for different treatments, the LED Face Sculptor is just a single device. Price is also a major difference as the Shark FacialPro Glow is £300 whereas the LED Face Sculptor is £12.99.

The other new launch from Aldi is the LED Hairbrush which is also priced at £12.99. Like the LED Face Sculptor, the hairbrush uses red LED lights and gentle vibrations to stimulate the scalp to encourage hair growth and healthier locks. This might sound odd to some, but red light has been found to be beneficial for hair and to enhance the scalp’s blood flow.

These two launches join Aldi’s LED Face Mask which has seven light settings to reduce fine lines and redness, and the LED Wand which precisely tackles these problems in tool form. Both cost £12.99, making Aldi’s entire LED beauty collection the same cheap price.

Now, I love Aldi and I love a good bargain, but if you were to ask me if you should buy these LED gadgets, my answer would be no. LED skin care is expensive for a reason, and skin isn’t something to mess around with, especially not for the low price of £12.99.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with buying cheap gadgets. In fact, I use the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 as part of my weekly skincare routine, and it’s the most budget-friendly LED face mask you can buy (albeit it’s still £150). But an LED mask or sculptor that’s only £12.99? This raises some concerns for me.

When buying an LED skincare product, it’s important to look for ones that are FDA-approved, meaning it has passed rigorous testing for safety and efficiency. I can’t see that written anywhere on the LED range from Aldi and as these products come into contact with skin and hair, I’m not sure I’d completely trust them.

But if you still want to try them for yourself, the LED beauty line-up is available in select Aldi stores from 26th July.

Shark Beauty has upgraded its award-winning CryoGlow LED face mask, adding improved LED coverage and better battery performance. The new CryoGlow Plus features 560 LEDs compared to the original's 480, whilst battery performance has been boosted by around 75%.

The new Shark CryoGlow Plus also arrives in two fresh colourways – Pastel Berry and Pastel Dusk. Following this launch, the mask will be available in eight different colour options, which fits with SharkNinja's usual approach of offering its products in a wide variety of shades.

It isn't available to buy just yet, but it will launch for £339.99 via Shark's website and selected retailers, with deliveries starting from 29th July. For comparison, the original model is now available from around £250, making it a cheaper option if you don't need the latest upgrades.

The original Shark CryoGlow achieved five stars in our full review back in 2024 and went on to win Best LED Face Mask at the T3 Awards 2025, so expectations are high for this updated version.

Aside from the new features, the CryoGlow Plus remains very similar to the original model. It still includes the same Better Ageing, Blemish Repair and Skin Sustain LED modes, alongside Shark's InstaChill Cold Technology, which uses three adjustable cooling levels to soothe the under-eye area.

Welcome to T3's review of the Braun Series 9 Pro+, a flagship electric foil-based shaver for all types of facial hair.

Electric shavers save a huge amount of time first thing in the morning while you're rushing to get out of the house. There's no need for the painstakingly slow rigmarole of slapping shaving products all over your face while being tied to the sink, because you can quite literally be shaving while you read your morning emails, sort your clothes out for the day or make a cup of tea.

We've been so impressed by the Braun Series 9 Pro+'s overall performance that it's shot straight to the top of the list in our guide to the best electric shavers. Here's the full lowdown for your perusal.

Braun Series 9 Pro+ review: price and availability

The Braun Series 9 Pro+ sits firmly in the premium end of the electric shaver market, though there is a bewildering number of model variants and bundles to choose from. The entry-level package as reviewed here includes the shaver, charging cable and travel case, while moving up the range adds Braun’s excellent SmartCare cleaning station, PowerCase charging case, replacement cleaning cartridges and even beard trimmer and body grooming bundles.

Expect to pay around £240 for a basic UK model and upwards of £700 for the full monty set. In the UK, the Series 9 Pro+ is widely available from Braun, Currys, Boots, John Lewis & Partners and Amazon.

In the USA, the Series 9 Pro+ is stocked by Braun ($399.99), Amazon ($319) and Walmart ($459), depending on the specification and accessories included.

Braun Series 9 Pro+ review: design and features

It’s no easy task shopping for an electric shaver. For starters, there are about six main brands on the UK market – Braun, Philips, Panasonic, Remington, Manscaped and Wahl – and each one of those brands lists a bewildering range of models in a wide variety of variants. Take the Braun range for instance. I stopped counting when I reached over 50 different models in various combos and price bands.

Now, I can’t speak for Remington, Manscaped, Panasonic or Wahl but I have tested models from Philips and Braun, and while Philips produces a sterling range of three-headed rotary shavers, I always find myself gravitating towards the Braun catalogue.

Visually, the Series 9 Pro+ is instantly recognisable as a Braun flagship model, with a clean, functional, utilitarian design that prioritises practicality over aesthetics. While there are some subtle cosmetic tweaks compared to previous Series 9 models and even the Series 7, the overall shape and ergonomics remain largely unchanged. And who cares, since Braun has spent years refining a design that just works.

Construction quality is expectedly high, with a housing that combines rigid plastics with textured rubber panels on the rear. These rubber strips provide plenty of grip, even when used with wet soapy hands. At just over 200g (204g to be precise), the Series 9 Pro+ feels chunky in the hand without becoming cumbersome during longer grooming sessions. The body, meanwhile, is fully waterproof, allowing for both dry shaving and use with shaving foam or gel.

Cleaning under a running tap is also very straightforward – simply press the sides of the head and it pops off to expose the inner foil and the connectors on the main body. The product comes with a brush to help release any trapped hair dust that inevitably always remains even while the shaver is being rinsed under a tap.

Not one to shy away from using a raft of promotional buzzwords to help sell this shaver’s various features to the masses, Braun has pulled out all the stops for this particular model. Let’s kick off with the 5+1 head, which combines five synchronised cutting elements along with a rear-mounted, flip-up surgical-grade stainless steel Precision ProTrimmer for detailed trimming of sideburns and beards.

According to the blurb, each cutting element performs a specific role. The two OptiFoil cutters capture short stubble close to the skin, the titanium-coated ProLift blade is designed to lift flattened hairs before cutting, the Direct&Cut element deals with hairs growing in different directions and the SkinGuard bar helps reduce skin contact and irritation.

The Series 9 Pro+ also features a ProSensoAdapt system which allegedly measures beard density 300 times a second, automatically adjusting motor output to maintain optimal cutting performance. I can’t say I’ve noticed any change in motor speed during my time with it but then I haven’t got a heavy beard to deal with. But, hey, it’s good to know it’s there.

Crucially, all parts of the Series 9 Pro+’s foil system move independently like a car’s suspension. Couple this with a shaving head that pivots through 40 degrees and you have a shaver that maintains superb contact across the changing contours of the jawline and neck without excessive wrist movement. Nevertheless, if you prefer no movement from the head itself, you can simply lock it off and choose from five different static positions up to a limit of 20 degrees each way.

Heading to the battery department, the Series 9 Pro+’s lithium-ion battery provides around 60 minutes of cordless operation, while a five-minute quick charge delivers enough power for at least one full shave if you've forgotten to recharge it.

A clear LED display indicates battery and foil status plus travel lock activation. However, I personally would have much preferred a USB-C charging method to save having to remember to pack the bespoke charging plinth when going away for a long period.

Despite the Braun’s raft of tantalising features, not every design decision here is quite on the money. For instance, the integrated flip-up trimmer’s cutter extends from the rear of the grip rather than sitting flush within the body. If you naturally grip the shaver high up near the head (something I tend to do), the protruding trimmer’s cutter presses into the inside of the index finger, making the otherwise comfortable handle feel, er, less comfortable.

Likewise, because this model is also available with a cleaning station, there are two small but noticeable steel charging studs that you can also feel if holding the shaver near the head. I hasten to add that if held the way the designers intended with the thumb on the textured front plate, you won’t have any of these tactile issues.

On the plus side, I do love the smooth spring action on the rear trimmer which is activated by touching a tiny button and moving the thumb up and down to engage and disengage the cutter.

Braun Series 9 Pro+ review: performance

The Braun Series 9 Pro+ delivers exactly what you'd expect from a flagship foil shaver – an exceptionally close, remarkably comfortable shave that almost rivals the feel of a traditional wet razor.

I've been using the Pro+ for the past few weeks and have been exceedingly impressed by how well it has handled my middle-aged visage. I don't have the thickest of daily hair growth, specifically around the lower neck, but the Pro+'s two OptiFoil cutters and clever ProLift trimmer have successfully captured neck hairs growing in different directions without requiring endless passes over the same area. Yes, the shaver struggled a bit during a recent heatwave when the humidity index was sky high but then that's the case with all electric shavers in damp and sticky atmospheric conditions.

I've been especially impressed by the flexibility of this model's shaving head which pivots 40 degrees, allowing the suspended cutting elements to follow every contour of my slim, angular bone structure like an Olympic skier at a mogul event.

For me, comfort is where the Series 9 Pro+ really shines. Even when used daily, it has remained exceptionally gentle, with no pulling or snagging and positively no post-shave redness. In fact, I have felt zero skin irritation since the first day of using it.

I've mostly used this model dry for time-saving effectiveness but it also provides a fast, fuss-free and extremely smooth morning shave when paired with shaving foam or gel, thanks in no small part to its fully waterproof design.

The integrated precision trimmer, too, has also performed well when tidying up sideburns and I can imagine it's just as efficient at defining a beard line or trimming around a moustache. However, as I've mentioned above, I do wish the sharp cutter head of the trimmer didn't protrude quite so much when it's not in use since I can feel it against the inside of my forefinger when shaving. It's not a deal breaker because the unit is supposed to be held lower down the grip where it is exceedingly comfy. That said, I still find myself subconsciously holding it nearer the foil head because that's the way I've been holding my older Series 7 model. But, hey, that’s my problem.

Minor anomalies aside, the Braun Series 9 Pro+ is a truly outstanding product, combining speed, comfort and consistency with a level of refinement that makes shaving feel less like a chore. For most users, it's about as close as an electric shave currently gets to the smoothness of a razor blade while being significantly kinder to the skin. Also, the battery lasts for weeks on a single charge.

Braun Series 9 Pro+ review: verdict

The Braun Series 9 Pro+ is a stupendous electric shaver that justifies its flagship status with exceptional shaving performance and impressive comfort. This one delivers consistently close results with minimal irritation, making it one of the finest foil shavers I've ever used.

Its only ergonomic flaw is the protruding rear precision trimmer which can dig into the index finger if you naturally grip the shaver high up the body. But fortunately this minor design oversight is easy to forgive when the shaving results are this darn good. If outright performance is your priority, I think the Series 9 Pro+ is one of the very best electric shavers currently on the market.

Watch out, Dyson Airwrap – Shark has expanded its FlexStyle hair styling range with its new FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler. Dubbed its most powerful multi-styler yet, the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler is specifically designed for curly hair, although UK customers will have to wait to get their hands on it.

Multi-stylers have taken over the haircare market, and Shark is one of the big name brands within this space. Its FlexStyle collection offers versatile drying and styling for all hair types, and its line-up of hair tools are some of the best we’ve tried – see our Shark FlexStyle 5-in-1 Air Styler & Dryer review for more details.

The latest addition to the FlexStyle range is the new Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler. As the name suggests, the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler is all about curly hair, although it can work across all hair types and textures.

But if you have curly hair or you want to create your own curls, the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler is the best styler to do it with. Using Ion Smooth technology, the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler dries and styles hair while minimising frizz and making curls look bouncier, shinier and more defined.

The Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler acts in a similar way to the Dyson Airwrap a.k.a the hair tool that put everyone on to this type of styling. It uses CoandaBoost technology (like the Airwrap) which uses a concentrated airflow to automatically wrap the hair around the tool to create curls and waves.

Measuring 11.24 inches in height and 1.49 inches in length and width, the main body of the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler is surprisingly compact and weighs just 1.5 pounds. It has power, speed and temperature buttons on the handle, and you can tilt the top of it to turn the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler into a hair dryer.

To set your hair, the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler has an Airset button which expels cold air to keep your style in place. It also comes with multiple accessories, including two Auto-Wrap Coanda curlers, a FrizzFighter High Shine Polisher, a Styling Concentrator and Oval Brush.

Hair stylers like the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler come into close contact with hair and the scalp. To protect hair, this styler has a scalp shield mode which instantly adjusts temperatures when it gets too close to your head, so your hair isn’t damaged from extreme heat.

I haven’t had the best luck with hair stylers, as no matter what product I put in or on my hair, it just doesn’t want to hold any styling! But the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler may have convinced me to give this type of styler another try, and I love that it comes in a pretty lilac colour.

Sadly for me, though, I’ll have to wait until it arrives in the UK, as it’s currently only available in the US. The Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler is available to buy for $349.99 at SharkNinja. As of writing, UK customers can sign up for it under SharkNinja’s Coming Soon page.

BaByliss Pro has long been a favourite among professional stylists, but tools that were once reserved for salons are now becoming much more accessible for at-home users. The latest to join the lineup is the Nano Titanium 2" Ultra-Thin Straightener, a styling tool designed to make light work of thick, long hair.

Featuring extra-wide titanium plates, near-instant heat-up and temperatures of up to 450°F, it's built to straighten larger sections of hair in fewer passes. However, with a premium price tag and no UK launch just yet, is it worth seeking out? I've been putting it to the test to find out.

The BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium 2" Ultra-Thin Straightener is currently exclusive to the US, where it's priced at $179.99 on BaByliss' website.

Whilst BaByliss Pro products are available in the UK, the Nano Titanium range hasn't made its way across the Atlantic just yet.

The straightener has an ultra-lightweight design that's comfortable to hold, whilst the metallic blue finish gives it a distinctive look compared to the sea of black stylers on the market.

The standout feature is its extra-wide 2-inch titanium plates, which are also extended to 5 inches in length. This means you can straighten much larger sections of hair in a single pass, making it particularly well suited to anyone with thick, long or coarse hair. However, those with shorter hair may want to avoid.

The Nano Titanium plates are designed to heat up quickly, distribute heat evenly and glide smoothly through the hair. A ceramic heating system also ensures near-instant heat-up and rapid temperature recovery.

There are five adjustable heat settings, starting at 300°F (149°C) and reaching up to 450°F (232°C). It also has a handy locking mechanism for storage, and the power cord is generously long. Just bear in mind that, if you're using it in the UK like I was, you'll need a US plug adaptor.

Performance

During use, one of the biggest advantages I found is simply how much hair the straightener can cover in a single pass. I found myself straightening far larger sections than I would with a traditional hair straightener, which made a noticeable difference to how long my routine took. Even after sectioning my hair properly, I was finished in around five to seven minutes, which is a lot quicker than it usually takes me.

The straightener heats up in a matter of seconds, so there's very little waiting around before you can get started, and the temperature remains steady as you style. The body is sturdy without feeling heavy, the long swivel cord gave me plenty of room to move around.

I also appreciated the sheer number of heat settings on offer, and whilst it's always best to use the lowest temperature to minimise heat damage, it's reassuring to know the higher settings are there if you need them.

One feature I found surprisingly useful was the locking mechanism, which kepet the plates closed when I wasn't using the straightener. This was especially useful whenever I needed to put it down whilst sectioning my hair or taking a quick break.

That said, considering the premium price, I do think BaByliss Pro could have included some extras, including a heat-resistant mat, storage pouch or even a styling glove. This would have made the overall kit feel a little more complete and better justified the price tag.

Verdict

The BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium 2" Ultra-Thin Straightener is all about making styling quicker, particularly if you have long or thick hair. Its extra-wide titanium plates cover much more hair with each pass than a standard straightener, whilst the wide range of heat settings makes it suitable for different hair types. The biggest drawback is the premium price, made slightly more disappointing by the lack of extras such as a heat mat or storage pouch. That said, if speed and performance are your priorities, it's a fantastic straightener that delivers exactly what it promises.

Alternatives to consider

Interestingly, the extra-long plates immediately reminded me of the Shark Shark SilkiPro Straight. Whilst Shark's model is more versatile thanks to its ability to dry and straighten hair at the same time, both are excellent choices if you have thick hair and want to speed up your styling routine.

Another comparable option is the Hot Tools Black Gold Dual Plate Salon Straightener. It also uses titanium technology to deliver fast styling and comes in at £129.99/$129.99, making it a more affordable alternative.

It's no secret that you don't have to spend a fortune these days to get a great hair styler. However, when a tool costs noticeably more than the competition, you want to know you're paying for features that actually make a difference.

That's exactly what I set out to find with the T3 SinglePass Curl X 32mm. With a premium price tag and plenty of good reviews to back it up, I couldn't wait to put it to the test. Plus, it shares a name with us here at T3, so it was always going to make its way into my review pile.

Price and availability

The T3 SinglePass Curl X starts at £159.99 for the 25mm model, whilst the 32mm version I'm testing costs £179.99. Both are available from the T3 online store and Amazon.

The 25mm model is available exclusively in white, whilst the 32mm comes in either white or a baby pink finish. I'm a big fan of the colour options, and it's nice to see a styling tool that's a little more interesting than the usual black.

Design and features

The T3 SinglePass Curl X 32mm is clearly designed with long and thick hair in mind. Its standout feature is the extra-long 6.5-inch CeraGloss ceramic barrel, which lets you wrap larger sections of hair at once, helping speed up your styling routine. The 32mm barrel is also perfect if you're after loose curls or beachy waves rather than tighter ringlets.

Compared to the previous model, the Curl X introduces T3's new ProGlide clip, which holds hair securely without catching.

Inside, Digital T3 SinglePass Technology continuously monitors and adjusts the temperature to keep the heat consistent across the barrel. This helps eliminate hot spots, reduces the need to go over the same section twice and leaves hair looking shinier thanks to the ceramic coating.

The 32mm model also offers nine heat settings – compared to just five on the 25mm version – making it easier to tailor the temperature to your hair type.

Other thoughtful features include the SmartTwist temperature dial, a ventilated cool tip for safer styling, automatic one-hour shut-off, worldwide voltage for travel and a generous 360-degree swivel cord.

Performance

The first thing I noticed when using the T3 SinglePass Curl X 32mm was just how much quicker it made the whole process. Thanks to the extra-long barrel, I could wrap much bigger sections of hair than I normally would, meaning I spent less time curling and more time enjoying the results.

The finished curls were also exactly the kind of look I tend to go for, and the 32mm barrel produced soft waves with plenty of movement. They also lasted surprisingly well, holding their shape for most of the day before naturally relaxing into loose waves by the evening.

The only feature that wasn't immediately intuitive was the new ProGlide clip. It's a little different from the traditional curling tongs I'm used to, so I had to get to grips with it during my first session. However, once I'd worked out the best technique, I had no complaints. It gripped each section firmly without leaving creases, and after a couple of uses it felt completely natural.

With nine heat settings, there's far more flexibility than many curling tongs offer, so it's easy to match the heat to your hair type. I'm also a big fan of the SmartTwist dial, which feels much more satisfying to use than repeatedly pressing buttons.

Verdict

The T3 SinglePass Curl X 32mm feels like a styling tool that's taken consumer feedback on board and come out the other side even better. It creates long-lasting curls with very little effort, speeds up styling for longer hair and quickly becomes second nature once you've mastered the clip. I found it to be a premium experience from start to finish.

Alternatives to consider

If you're looking for a more affordable alternative, the Revamp Effortless Curls Extra-Long Ceramic Tong is worth considering. It's particularly good for long hair and creates similarly bouncy curls thanks to its long ceramic barrel, although it has a simpler design and doesn't feature T3's clip.

If you'd rather stay within the T3 range but want something more versatile, the T3 Aire 360 is another excellent option. It comes with multiple styling attachments, including ceramic-coated curling barrels that use heated airflow instead of direct heat.

Silk'n has unveiled the LumiGlow, a new targeted LED skincare device that's designed to treat specific areas of your face. The brand is already well known for its range of the best LED face masks, with the Silk'n LED Face Mask Pro recently receiving Highly Commended in the 2026 T3 Awards.

Unlike a traditional LED mask, the LumiGlow can be used almost anywhere on the face, including around the eyes, across the nose, between the brows or on individual blemishes. It's compact design makes it ideal for travel, and each treatment takes just five minutes.

The Silk'n LumiGlow is available now from Silk'n's online store for £59, with launches at Lookfantastic in August and Boots in September.

The LumiGlow features three modes with four LED colours, each designed to target different skincare concerns. In comparison, the LED Face Mask Pro has seven modes powered by five different wavelengths.

Battery life is also impressive for such a small device, with around six to eight treatments available from a single charge. The LumiGlow attaches to your skin using adhesive strips, with 15 single-use strips included in the box. Replacement packs of 30 strips are available from Silk'n for £14.90.

Silk'n also includes a handy travel pouch and a USB-C charging cable, making the LumiGlow an easy skincare companion whether you're at home or away.

Ghd (and AI) fans, rejoice. The brand's latest launch, the ghd Sculpt, is its smartest styler and straighteners yet. Using new AI-powered Heat Adapt technology, it continuously adapts to your hair as you style, promising smoother, longer-lasting results without compromising hair health.

I'm all about making my morning routine as quick and easy as possible, so when I heard the Sculpt promised five-times faster styling, I was immediately intrigued. As someone who's always battled naturally wavy hair and has tried everything from keratin treatments to literally ironing my hair (don't judge me) as a teenager, I'm a sucker for anything that promises sleek and shiny hair while making my styling routine far less time-consuming. Naturally, I had to put it to the test.

Ghd Sculpt review: price and availability

Ghd Sculpt review: design and features

In terms of design, the Sculpt looks unlike any other styler I've tested. The white and silver finish feels every bit as premium as you'd expect from ghd, and it’s a different shape and vibe from the other ghds I’ve owned.

The slim Infinity plates glided through my hair without snagging once and the futuristic, yet feminine silhouette meant I was more than happy to keep them on show on my dressing table. For those who travel or like to store their hair styling products out of sight. They're surprisingly slim and lightweight too. They slid easily into my gym bag without adding much weight and tucked neatly into a drawer when needed.

Unlike some other ghd models, the Sculpt is only available with one plate size, measuring 26mm wide. Initially, I wondered whether I'd miss the wider plates, but thanks to ghd's claim of five-times faster straightening and an ultra-fast personalised styling that transforms your hair in one stroke, I really didn't. They proved just as quick and effective on my usually tricky-to-style hair.

They also made creating curls much easier. I've always found twisting straighteners to produce curls a bit of an art, but the slim plates, lightweight curved design and smooth glide made me wonder why I'd ever found it so difficult.

My hair wrapped easily around the plates, heated evenly and glided through without catching, leaving me with soft, ringlet curls in just a few attempts.

Ghd Sculpt review: AI technology

Like other ghd stylers, the Sculpt is designed around the brand's 185°C styling temperature. The difference here is its new Heat Adapt technology, which uses AI to monitor your hair during styling rather than simply maintaining a constant plate temperature. According to ghd, the Sculpt continuously monitors styling conditions and adapts its heat delivery in real time to suit each section of hair, delivering the optimum amount of heat for styling while helping to protect the hair's natural structure.

Did I notice the AI working? Honestly, that's difficult to say. It's not as though you can feel the temperature changing while you style (nor should you touch the plates to find out). What I did notice was the end result. My naturally wavy, colour-treated hair came out consistently smooth, sleek and frizz-free, and straightening it felt quicker and less of a chore than with some of my older stylers.

Curious about how it all works? So was I. Behind the scenes, the Sculpt's AI is powered by a microprocessor that takes around 2,900 measurements every second, detecting when hair is between the plates, how much hair you're styling and how quickly you're moving. It then adjusts the power and heat delivery in real time to suit each section of hair. It's undeniably clever technology and my hair consistently came out smoother and shinier than I'd ever expected.

Ghd Sculpt review: performance

Part of the Sculpt’s charm is its personalisation. Because the AI takes care of the temperature control, all you need to do is press the power button (which makes a rather satisfying beep) and wait for it to heat up. That took just a few seconds, giving me enough time to spritz on some heat protectant.

During use, my hair slid through the plates and came out sleek, shiny and effortlessly straight - right to the tip. I loved that there was nowhere for my hair to get caught or snag between the plates, and the lightweight, slim design never felt clunky in my hands.

GHD claims the Sculpt delivers up to 90% more shine and 2.5x less frizz than naturally dried hair. While I obviously couldn't measure those figures, my hair certainly looked as sleek as it does after a professional blow dry and held its straightness even after a good night’s sleep. If you've ever gone to bed with perfectly straight hair only to wake up with a halo of frizz, you'll know exactly what I mean. My hair simply stayed smoother for longer than it normally does, without feeling dry or over-cooked.

Whether I styled small sections or much larger ones, the results remained impressively consistent. Ghd also says the Sculpt helps preserve colour vibrancy by avoiding unnecessary heat, something that particularly appealed to me given my colour-treated hair and bleached ends, which have a tendency to dry out easily.

Another unexpected bonus was feeling comfortable enough to let my 12-year-old daughter use them. I've always avoided letting her use my older straighteners because her hair is still completely healthy, but the promise of the AI adapting to her hair rather than simply blasting it with a constant heat gave me much more confidence. Her hair is obviously very different to mine, yet the result was the same: smooth, straight hair and the reassurance of knowing that her precious locks weren't being exposed to any more heat than they needed.

The biggest surprise wasn't the technology itself - it was how effortless it made everything feel. The AI quietly adjusted the heat in the background while I simply got on with getting ready. My hair stayed sleek for three to four days, meaning I wasn't reaching for the straighteners every morning. It genuinely reduced my getting-ready time - so much so that I probably ran it through my hair a few extra times, simply because I couldn't believe it could be that straight that easily. It could!

Ghd Sculpt review: Verdict

Like many people my age, my very first styling tool was a pair of ghd straighteners. I saved up for months (and months) to buy them and never regretted spending a single penny. Since then, I've tried plenty of other brands, but I almost always come back to ghd because I find their products consistently reliable. The Sculpt is now my new favourite.

It straightened my hair in under 15 minutes, while the premium design, lightweight feel and smooth-gliding Infinity plates made styling feel almost effortless. Add in the new AI-powered Heat Adapt technology, and you've got a straightener that consistently delivers sleek, long-lasting results while adapting to your hair's individual needs.

The only real downside is that it's a significant investment. But when I think about how much I've spent on weekly blow-dries simply because I couldn't face styling my own hair, I can already see it paying for itself. Better still, my hair stayed smooth for several days, meaning I wasn't constantly reaching for the straighteners before work, before a meeting or a night out. For me, that's worth every penny.

Ghd Sculpt review: alternatives to consider

I have to admit, I haven't come across any AI-powered hair styling gadgets quite like this before. Ghd certainly seems to be one of the first, and I doubt it'll be the last.

That said, there are a few other straighteners that have impressed me over the years including the Dyson Airstrait that uses high-speed airflow to dry and straighten hair simultaneously. Another styler I've been impressed by is the L'Oréal Professionnel SteamPod 4, particularly if you have thick, long or curly hair. Its wider plates and steam technology helped tame my hair with ease.

Finally, if you have fine, delicate or colour-treated hair and prefer to control the heat yourself, the Nicky Clarke Frizz Control Straightener is also worth considering. Its tourmaline-coated plates leave hair smooth and shiny, and with five temperature settings ranging from 150°C to 230°C, you can choose exactly how hot (or not) you want to style your hair. Unlike the Sculpt, which automatically adapts the heat for you, it's a better choice if you prefer to stay in complete control of the styling temperature yourself, and it comes in way cheaper too.

Wimbledon 2026 has been taking place from 22nd June - 12th July, and the past week has been full of nail-biting games and stylish spectators. To celebrate the last week of the tennis tournament, I’ve had a look for men’s fragrances and women’s perfumes that capture the spirit of Wimbledon.

If you know anything about Wimbledon, you might expect to find summery scents full of strawberries and cream – the go-to snack at the competition. But I’ve taken things one step further, and found fragrances that smell like you’re actually on the tennis court, including notes of freshly cut grass and even tennis balls.

Wimbledon fragrances 2026

When you consider one of the best electric toothbrushes, there's usually a certain design that springs to mind. Most feature a slim handle with either an oscillating or sonic brush head, alongside familiar features like a built-in two-minute timer and 30-second quadrant reminders. Beyond that, there often isn't much to separate one model from another... until you come across the Feno Smartbrush.

Instead of brushing one section of your mouth at a time, the Feno Smartbrush is designed to clean every tooth simultaneously in just 20 seconds. It's also the first toothbrush to combine daily brushing with detailed scans of your teeth and gums, using AI to provide ongoing insights into your oral health over time.

There's certainly a lot going on here, so I was keen to find out whether it could live up to its brilliant reviews.

Price and availability

I've been testing the Founder's Edition Bundle, which costs £276/$299 and includes the Smartbrush, one custom-made TrueFit Mouthpiece, three tubes of Feno Foam toothpaste, and a complimentary tongue scraper.

There's also the Founder's Edition Plus Bundle (£368/$399), which adds a 12-month Feno Plus subscription for enhanced oral health insights, whilst the top-tier Elite Oral Health Bundle (£479/$519) also includes an at-home Salivary Microbiome Insight Test that analyses the bacteria in your mouth.

All of the bundles are available through Feno's online store as well as Amazon, but it's important to know that every order currently ships from the US.

If you're ordering internationally, you'll likely be waiting between one and three weeks for delivery, whereas US customers benefit from free shipping.

Scan and set up

As the Smartbrush is built around a personalised fit, the setup process actually begins before the toothbrush even arrives. Shortly after placing my order, I received an email asking me to download the companion app, create an account, and scan my mouth using my smartphone. The whole process took less than a minute, and the scans were automatically uploaded so Feno could manufacture a mouthpiece tailored specifically to my teeth.

A few weeks later, my personalised bundle arrived. Inside the box was the Smartbrush handle, two different sized TrueFit Mouthpieces, three tubes of Feno Foam toothpaste, a tongue scraper, and the magnetic Feno Snap Charger.

From there, I charged the Smartbrush using the Snap Charger, which took around two hours to reach full battery. Once charged, I simply clipped the TrueFit Mouthpiece onto the SmartHandle until it clicked securely into place.

I then returned to the app, entered the pairing code displayed on the brush, connected it to Wi-Fi, and followed the remaining setup instructions. Within a few minutes, everything was ready to go.

Design and features

As mentioned, the Feno Smartbrush looks nothing like a conventional electric toothbrush. Instead of cleaning one tooth at a time, it uses a custom-made U-shaped TrueFit Mouthpiece that fits over both your upper and lower teeth simultaneously. Just like a standard brush head, it will last you around three months.

Inside the mouthpiece are around 18,000 soft nylon bristles, which is significantly more than the roughly 2,500 found on a traditional electric toothbrush. Combined with the SmartHandle's motor, this allows every tooth to be brushed at the same time in a single 20-second cleaning cycle.

It's certainly a very different approach, but it completely removes the need for the standard two-minute brushing routine we've all grown up with.

The SmartHandle also houses a built-in high-definition oral scanner which can analyse data to build personalised oral health reports. The app also tracks brushing performance and offers AI-powered recommendations, whilst users who subscribe to Feno Plus gain access to additional coaching and deeper oral health insights.

Battery life is lasts around a week between charges, which isn't revolutionary, but feels reasonable given everything the brush is doing.

Performance

The Feno Smartbrush definitely took a bit of getting used to, but once I got into the swing of things, I have to say I really enjoyed using it. Its biggest advantage is undoubtedly how it reduces the amount of time you're meant to brush for, as well as the worry of whether you've actually reached every part of your mouth. If those are two things that cause you concern often, you'll probably get on really well with it.

Before getting started, I had to choose between the two mouthpiece sizes. I found the smaller one worked much better for me, as it didn't press against the back of my gums as much. I also settled on the 30-second brushing mode, as the 20-second option just felt a little too quick. With only 10 seconds between them, I'd much rather spend the extra time making sure my teeth were properly cleaned.

When I first started using it, I noticed a bit of bleeding, which is always slightly alarming when you take good care of your teeth. However, I quickly read that the Smartbrush reaches areas that your regular toothbrush might not, so a little initial bleeding isn't unusual and should settle down as your gums adjust.

The brushing experience itself is also... quite juddery. The vibrations are strong enough to make your cheeks wobble a little, but it never felt uncomfortable or painful, especially once I'd settled on the correct mouthpiece size. Whilst brushing, you simply move the handle in gentle circular motions to make sure every surface is covered, and the Smartbrush automatically switches off once you've reached the end of your chosen timer.

I also really liked the Feno Foam toothpaste, which works well with the mouthpiece. It's minty but not overpowering, and the foaming texture feels nice compared to a paste. However, Feno makes it clear that you can still use the Smartbrush with your regular toothpaste too, which is great to know.

After around a week of using it, I was pleased with the results, and it never felt like I was compromising on cleanliness by switching away from a traditional electric toothbrush. My teeth felt clean after every brush, and it seemed like most areas of my mouth were being thoroughly reached.

I wouldn't say it completely revolutionised my oral care or left me feeling like I'd just walked out of a hygienist appointment, but the results were consistently good and exactly what I'd expect from a quality electric toothbrush.

Verdict

The Feno Smartbrush won't be for everyone, but if you've ever found yourself rushing your brushing routine or wondering whether you've actually cleaned every part of your mouth, it makes a very convincing case for itself. It's easy to use, surprisingly effective, and provides similar results to a traditional electric toothbrush – just in half the time. Its different design means it takes some getting used to, but once you've settled in, it's hard not to appreciate the convenience.

Alternatives to consider

There really isn't anything quite like the Feno Smartbrush on the market, aside from a handful of similarly designed alternatives you'll find on Amazon or Temu. However, if you'd prefer to stick with a more traditional electric toothbrush, I'd highly recommend the Oral-B iO6.

Alternatively, the Suri 2.0 is another excellent choice, particularly if you travel regularly. It's far more compact, offers a significantly longer battery life than the Feno, and still delivers fantastic everyday brushing performance.

Originally priced at £175, the Oral-B iO3 is now just £59.99, helping you save £115.01 on this premium electric toothbrush. I gave it four stars in my Oral-B iO3 review, and stated that “With simple one-touch controls and a nice lightweight design, the Oral-B iO3 offers professional cleaning that really feels like it gets into all your mouth’s nooks and crannies.”

Having used the Oral-B iO3 for a couple of months now, I can confidently say that I’ve seen an improvement to my teeth and gums. The round brush head covers teeth well, and gets into hard to reach areas so my entire mouth feels clean after I’ve brushed.

Using iO technology, the Oral-B iO3 works to remove plaque and leave the mouth feeling fresher. It also uses pressure sensors to ensure you’re not brushing too hard or not enough, and it shows this on the light ring that loops around the brush.

One of my favourite features is the battery life. Its charging process is quick, and it gives two weeks worth of power. I found this to be very accurate, and appreciated how long lasting it was. The brush also notifies you when it needs charging by the power button flashing red.

The Oral-B iO3 comes with three cleaning modes – daily clean, whitening and sensitive – which you can choose via the button that sits beneath the on/off button. Compared to other Oral-B brushes, the Oral-B iO3 is quite simple and doesn’t have a screen display like its successors, but sometimes, basic is best.

I’ve found that to be the case with the Oral-B iO3 which is why I’d recommend this deal to anyone looking for a new toothbrush that may be entry-level but delivers on the goods.

As someone who reviews everything from the best coffee machines to robot vacuums, there are certain products that inevitably end up being delegated to my long-suffering partner. The best body groomers fall firmly into that category, and whilst I was technically overseeing the testing process, it's fair to say my role involved inspecting the results from a respectful distance and trying not to laugh.

The Manspot Body Trimmer is one of a growing number of affordable grooming tools promising a smoother and less stressful manscaping experience. With waterproofing, ceramic blades and a wallet-friendly price tag, it certainly ticks plenty of boxes on paper.

After several weeks of testing – mostly carried out by my partner, much to his delight – here's how the Manspot Body Trimmer performed.

Price and availbility

It doesn't get much cheaper than the Manspot Body Trimmer, which comes in at just £21.99 on Amazon. The Manspot version is available in either black or a stylish khaki green, whilst there's also a Ladyspot model offered in pink or purple.

Slightly unnecessary gendered marketing, but at least there are a few colour options to choose from.

Design and features

The Manspot Body Trimmer is designed as an all-in-one grooming tool for body hair, with a clear focus on comfort and ease of use in more sensitive areas. It has an ergonomic shape that sits comfortably in the hand, whilst the textured finish provides plenty of grip. It's also fully waterproof, allowing you to use it wet or dry and rinse it clean afterwards.

The trimmer uses a high-performance motor paired with an anti-cut blade system that's designed to minimise irritation, nicks and razor burn. The blades themselves are made from ceramic and aerospace-grade materials, which Manspot claims improve both durability and comfort during use. They're also intended to be more hygienic than some traditional blade materials, making them well suited to regular grooming.

The trimmer ships with four guide combs offering cutting lengths of 1.5mm, 3mm, 3-6mm and 9-12mm. The shortest guard delivers a very close trim, whilst the longer options give you a bit more flexibility depending on the look you're after.

Manspot claims the battery can last for up to 20 grooming sessions, or around 90 minutes of runtime from a single charge. Charging takes around 2.5 hours and is handled via USB-C, and there's also a small cleaning brush included in the box.

Performance

My partner actually started testing the Manspot Body Trimmer on his face first, simply to get a feel for how the trimmer handled. That said, I wouldn't recommend regularly using a body trimmer as your main facial grooming tool, as it's specifically designed for more sensitive areas of the body. If facial shaving is your priority, you're much better off sticking with one of the best electric shavers.

His first impression was how comfortable the trimmer felt in the hand. The ergonomic shape makes it easy to manoeuvre, whilst the soft-touch silicone provides plenty of grip. It feels secure to hold, which is particularly important if you're using it in the shower where things can quickly become slippery.

He also liked the blade width, which strikes a nice balance between covering larger areas efficiently whilst still being precise enough for more detailed grooming. Swapping between the included guards is equally straightforward thanks to the simple clip-on, clip-off design.

Moving onto the rest of his body, he was pleasantly surprised by the overall performance. Whilst it doesn't quite match the refinement of premium options like the Wahl Manscaper, it comfortably performs above what its price tag would suggest. The trimmer followed body contours well, delivered a neat trim and, most importantly, managed to avoid any uncomfortable pinches or nicks.

One thing he did note is that the Manspot Body Trimmer is fairly compact. Whilst that means it doesn't cover large areas quite as quickly as some bigger rivals, it makes it an excellent option to take travelling. As a result, it would have been nice to see Manspot include a travel pouch or storage case in the box, but considering the price, it's hardly a dealbreaker.

Verdict

The Manspot Body Trimmer is a budget-friendly grooming tool that prioritises comfort and safety over premium refinement. It performs reliably for everyday body grooming, especially in sensitive areas, and whilst it doesn’t quite reach the smooth efficiency of higher-end competitors, it still delivers impressive results for its price. Its compact size also makes it travel-friendly, though the lack of a storage pouch is a small but noticeable omission.

Alternatives to consider

If you're looking for another affordable body groomer, I'd also recommend the Philips Series 3000 Bodygroomer. It delivers an impressively smooth shave for the money and feels remarkably similar to Philips' more premium Series 7000 models, despite costing just over £40.

I also couldn't finish without mentioning the Wahl Manscaper, which remains our favourite body groomer overall. Not only is it competitively priced, but it combines a lightweight build with a comfortable rubberised grip and a handy LED display that shows both the selected cutting length and remaining battery life.

I travel a lot for work, and for obvious reasons, I take my electric toothbrush with me on all my trips. But after one journey, I got into my hotel room, unpacked my toiletries and found that my electric toothbrush was completely dead, even though I’d charged it beforehand.

After little deducing, I realised that when I’d packed my electric toothbrush, the contents in my bag must have accidentally pressed against the on/off button. So, while I was sitting on the plane, my toothbrush was working away, brushing absolutely nothing and draining the battery in the process.

I know what you’re thinking: this is why you put your electric toothbrush in its travel case – and you’d be right. Removing the brush head from the main body of the toothbrush, and storing it in its travel pouch helps guarantee your toothbrush won’t turn on and buzz away for hours, meaning you won’t lose use of it when you get to your destination.

But whether your electric toothbrush comes with a travel case or not, many of today’s electric toothbrushes don’t have detachable heads, in an effort to be more sustainable and create less waste. If this is the case for you, I recently found this ‘hidden’ travel lock feature which prevents your electric toothbrush from turning on accidentally – if only I’d known about this before!

The buttons on your electric toothbrush do a lot more than you might think. Aside from switching modes and turning on and off, your electric toothbrush’s controls can also ‘lock’ your toothbrush so you can save your battery and prolong the lifespan of its technology.

For most electric toothbrushes, you can activate the travel lock by pressing and holding the power button for up to five seconds. To ‘unlock’ your electric toothbrush, simply do the same. But some models are different, so I’ve listed how to use the travel lock on your toothbrush for Philips, Oral-B and SURI users.

How to use the travel lock on Philips electric toothbrushes

Philips electric toothbrushes all have similar methods for activating the travel lock. For Sonicare and ExpertClean models – we’re fans of the Philips Sonicare 7100 at T3 – you simply press and hold the power button for three seconds. To let you know the travel lock is on, the battery light will flash or a lock icon will show. Your toothbrush will also make a beeping noise.

The Philips DiamondClean brushes, like the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9900 Prestige, require you to press down the mode button instead of the power button.

How to use the travel lock on Oral-B electric toothbrushes

As Oral-B electric toothbrushes have gotten more advanced with each new generation, there are a couple of ways to turn on the travel lock. If your Oral-B iO toothbrush has a touchscreen, you can scroll through the settings to select the travel lock option. Alternatively, hold the power button for five seconds until a lock icon appears and the LED light around the head flashes.

For more recent Oral-B iO brushes, like the Oral-B iO6 and above, you can turn the travel lock on and off by using the Oral-B app. If your toothbrush is under iO6, like the Oral-B iO3, you’ll need to stick to holding down the power button – the same can be said for Pro and Smart toothbrushes.

How to use the travel lock on SURI electric toothbrushes

If you have a SURI toothbrush like the SURI 2.0, you simply need to press and hold the power button for five seconds. Above the button is a light which will flash orange to indicate it’s locked. The brush itself will also vibrate and beep.

While it used to be that most people had a signature scent – a single fragrance which was recognisable as theirs – that's far less common these days. In 2026, scent is treated more like a wardrobe, with different options for different moods, weathers and seasons.

That's exactly why bottles like Creed's Wild Vetiver get me so excited. The scent – a sibling to the 22 year old Original Vetiver – is unlikely to be the daily driver for many men.

It's scent profile is sweet and floral, with strong notes of rose and lots of fruits sat on top of a vetiver and woody base. If you were only ever going to wear one scent, I don't think many of us would opt for that.

But when you've got a few bottles or a small collection, Wild Vetiver can really shine. Not dissimilar to that day where you decide to wear your most outlandish shirt just because you can, this scent can offer something totally different on days when you just fancy a change.

I've been wearing this on and off for the past few weeks, and always find it to be a welcome scent to put on. One thing which has particularly impressed is the longevity, with it seeming to stick to skin and clothes for hours. I'm quite happy with a couple of sprays to last a full six to eight hours.

Projection is also pretty good. While there's some fall off after the initial sprays, I found myself and others around me still noticing it a few hours later, which is more than can be said for some scents I've tested.

Of course, it's not cheap, and that will be the biggest stumbling block for most users. I managed to find it for £220 (approx. €255 / US$295 / AU$420) for a 50ml bottle and £310 (approx. €360 / US$415 / AU$590) for a 100ml bottle, which is definitely on the higher end for most of us.

I wouldn't say it's too expensive, though, sitting broadly alongside bottles from the likes of Acqua di Parma, Tom Ford and the like. It can hold its own in that company, and that justifies it for me.

The Oral-B iO range has quickly become one of the most recognisable names among the best electric toothbrushes, offering everything from affordable entry-level models to premium brushes packed with smart features.

Over the years, we've tested the Oral-B iO2, iO3 and iO7, giving us a good understanding of where each model sits within the lineup. Now, the iO6 has arrived for review, positioning itself as a premium mid-range option that still commands a significant price tag.

This raises the question of whether the iO6 offers enough over its cheaper siblings to justify the extra cost, or are you better off saving your money and avoiding it altogether. After several weeks of testing, here's how the Oral-B iO6 performed.

Price and availability

The Oral-B iO6 carries an RRP of £300, but like many Oral-B toothbrushes, it's frequently and generously discounted. At the time of writing, it's available for around £105 at both Currys and AO, making it a far more tempting proposition than its original price suggests.

It's available in Black, Pink or Silver Grey, and comes bundled with an iO brush head, travel case, magnetic charger and a hygienic brush head holder.

Design and features

The Oral-B iO6 sits firmly towards the premium end of Oral-B's lineup. The handle is slim, smooth and comfortable to hold, with a matte finish that feels premium in the hand whilst providing extra grip when wet.

At the centre of the handle is a small interactive black-and-white display that shows brushing modes, battery information, brush head replacement reminders and post-brushing feedback.

Whilst it's not as advanced as the colour display found on the more expensive iO8 and iO10 models, it still adds a premium touch and makes navigating settings far easier than relying on a collection of flashing LEDs. The toothbrush itself is controlled via two simple buttons – one for power and one for cycling through brushing modes.

The headline feature of the iO6 is Oral-B's magnetic iO drive system. Rather than relying solely on the oscillating movement found on older Oral-B brushes, the iO6 combines oscillation and rotation with gentle micro-vibrations. The result is a brushing experience that feels noticeably smoother and quieter whilst still delivering a deep clean.

The iO6 offers five cleaning modes, including Gum Care, Intense, Daily Clean, Sensitive and Whiten. There's also a 360-degree pressure sensor, with the illuminated ring around the neck of the brush changing colour depending on how hard you're brushing. Red indicates too much pressure, green confirms you're brushing correctly and white suggests you're not applying enough.

The iO6 also includes Bluetooth connectivity and works alongside the Oral-B app. Once connected, the app can provide real-time coaching, track brushing coverage and help ensure you're spending enough time on all areas of your mouth. For users who enjoy data-driven health tracking, it can even integrate with Apple Health.

Other premium features include a built-in two-minute timer, quadrant pacing to ensure even brushing, brush head replacement reminders and personalised brushing feedback.

Performance

For me, the cleaning performance is where the Oral-B iO6 really stands out, and throughout testing, my teeth consistently felt exceptionally clean after every brush. I found myself using the Daily Clean mode most often, and it struck a great balance between power and comfort.

One of my favourite features during testing was the built-in display. It might sound like a small addition, but being able to see exactly how long I'd been brushing for and how much time I had left made a strong difference to my routine. The feedback screen at the end of each session also made the whole experience feel more interactive and engaging.

I also really liked the illuminated pressure-sensing ring, which provides instant feedback if you're brushing too hard. Combined with Oral-B's clever iO brush heads, which gradually fade in colour as they wear out and need replacing, it's a very easy toothbrush to use and maintain.

The included travel case is also great, particularly for frequent travellers. It keeps everything protected in a suitcase, making the iO6 easy enough to throw into a bag for weekends away. I'm not entirely sure why there's space for two brush heads, but having a back up is always a good thing I suppose?

That said, there are a few frustrations. My biggest gripe is the lack of a proper stand or dock. Instead, the toothbrush sits directly on your bathroom surface, which can quickly become messy after brushing. Having recently used the magnetic pebble included with the SURI 2.0, it's something I noticed immediately and missed throughout testing.

Battery performance was another disappointment. A full recharge from empty took around 24-30 hours, which feels incredibly slow by modern standards, and once fully charged, I was only getting around one and a half to two weeks of use. Compared to rivals like the SURI 2.0 and Quip Lite, which can often last between 30 and 50 days between charges, that's a significant difference.

Factor in the relatively high price tag and the fact there are cheaper toothbrushes elsewhere in the iO range that deliver a very similar clean, and it becomes harder to fully justify the premium.

Verdict

The Oral-B iO6 delivers an excellent clean, feels premium in the hand and includes useful additions such as the interactive display, pressure-sensing ring and intelligent brush head reminders. Throughout testing, it consistently left my teeth feeling polished and fresh, whilst making the whole brushing experience more engaging than most electric toothbrushes manage.

However, the lengthy charging time, relatively average battery life and lack of a dedicated stand feel difficult to overlook at this price point. Add in the fact that cheaper models elsewhere in the iO lineup deliver a very similar cleaning experience, and the iO6 becomes harder to recommend at full retail price.

That said, if you can find it on one of Oral-B's frequent discounts, the iO6 becomes a much stronger proposition. For those who want a premium electric toothbrush packed with useful smart features, but don't feel the need to stretch to the flagship models, it's one of the strongest options in the range.

Alternatives to consider

If you like the idea of the Oral-B iO6 but don't think you'll use all of its extra features, I'd strongly recommend looking at the Oral-B iO2 instead. It's a much simpler toothbrush, but still offers three brushing modes, a quadrant timer, pressure sensor and travel case, whilst costing significantly less.

Another strong alternative is the Philips Sonicare 7100. It's also on the pricier side, but offers more advanced customisation options and delivers a different style of clean thanks to its sonic brushing technology rather than Oral-B's oscillating approach.

Since its launch, there have been many more iO releases – the newest model being the iO10 – but the Oral-B iO3 doesn’t disappoint when it comes to a deep clean, good charge and affordable price.

Oral-B iO3 review: price and availability

The Oral-B iO3 is available to buy for £160 at Oral-B and select retailers like Amazon, John Lewis and Boots. It’s available in black, grey, pink and blue colours, and comes with a travel case and charger. In the US, it’s between $75 - $90.

It’s rare that you’ll see the Oral-B iO3 at full price. As of writing, it’s discounted to £65 at Amazon and Boots, and £59 at John Lewis. As it only comes with one brush head, you’ll need to buy replacements which you can get in two, six, eight and 10 packs. Prices on these typically start at £14.50 and you can buy them at most retailers.

Oral-B iO3 review: design and features

The Oral-B iO3 is an advanced electric toothbrush which measures 24cm in height and has a depth and width of 2.8cm. It weighs just 136g, making it extremely lightweight. The brush head of the Oral-B iO3 can be removed to swap out new heads and for travelling.

The main body of the Oral-B iO3 has the controls which consists of two buttons. The one at the top is for turning it on and off, and the bottom one cycles through its brushing modes – daily clean, sensitive and whitening.

Where the brush head meets the body of the Oral-B iO3, there’s a 360 degree LED light ring that acts as a visible pressure sensor for your teeth and gums. When it flashes green, it means the pressure is perfect, while red indicates you’re using too much pressure. The white light shows if you’re using too little pressure.

The Oral-B iO3 uses gentle micro-vibrations to clean your teeth. It has a round dentist approved brush head which has individually powered bristles. It has a two minute timer built in and the brush and noise slightly pauses every 30 seconds to tell you when to switch to a different zone in your mouth.

The Oral-B iO3 is easy to charge, and comes with a charging stand. It takes up to 16 hours to charge fully, and it delivers up to two weeks of brushing on a single charge. When charging, the light ring pulses red while charging and turns green when it’s fully charged.

There’s much debate between electric vs manual brushing, but Oral-B claims that the Oral-B iO3 offers 100% cleaner teeth and healthier gums than a regular manual toothbrush – here’s why I think they’re right.

Oral-B iO3 review: performance

I’ve tested many electric toothbrushes from Oclean, Quip and Philips, but the iO3 is my first model from Oral-B. My husband has had the iO7 for years and has loved it, so I was excited to see what all the hype was about.

As electric toothbrushes go, the Oral-B iO3 certainly looks the part. It has a simple design with just two buttons so you can’t really go wrong with it. Its noise isn’t too offensive and the brief pauses to tell you when to switch brush position is very helpful. The LED ring is the icing on the cake as it clearly shows how much pressure you’re using without overloading you with information.

I found the Oral-B iO3 to have a good amount of charge. It definitely lasted for over two weeks before I needed to recharge it. This isn’t huge compared to some of the other models I’ve tried, but it’s still pretty impressive. The charger and travel case that comes with the Oral-B iO3 are also well designed and easy to travel with.

The Oral-B iO3 definitely made my mouth and teeth feel very clean. The micro-vibrations are strong but they don’t feel too intense. At the risk of being laughed at, I felt that the brush heads felt a bit too large in my mouth. As mentioned, I’ve tested many electric toothbrushes that have had a lot slimmer heads, so in comparison, the Oral-B iO3 felt chunkier which made everything a bit messy.

Now, are there more advanced models on the market? Yes, but I like the simplicity of the Oral-B iO3. Sometimes, you don’t need your devices to be able to talk to you or to come with an app. While my husband’s iO7 is very impressive and it has the smiley face screen that everyone loves, the ease of use that comes with the Oral-B iO3 is great, and as the entry-level option to the range, you can’t really ask for much more.

Oral-B iO3 review: verdict

If you want a professional electric toothbrush which is simple to use and won’t break the bank, you can’t go wrong with the Oral-B iO3. It might not be the newest, smartest option on the market but it leaves your mouth feeling clean, fresh and hygienic – what else could you want, really?

It may take some time to get used to the brush heads and the mess can be a bit much, but the Oral-B iO3 is a brilliant option for those who want to improve their oral hygiene. It really wins points for its price as well.

Oral-B iO3 review: alternatives to consider

If you fancy similar simple controls, the Suri 2.0 is the best of the best. It looks great, performs professionally and its latest version has a new case, charging stand and pressure sensor.

If brush head size is important to you, the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9900 Prestige has similar controls and design to the Oral-B iO3 but comes with slimmer brush heads. It’s more expensive, a little heavier and comes with AI, so it’s not ‘simple’ by any means, but it does look it.

A more advanced version of the Oral-B iO3 is the Oral-B iO9. This model comes with the interactive screen that smiles or frowns at you to let you know how your brush went. It’s also more expensive and has app control.

Panasonic has unveiled two new beauty products that combine high-performance haircare with premium design. Leading the launch is the new EH-NA0L Hair Dryer, which competes with the best hair dryers to deliver salon-quality results at home whilst improving overall hair health.

In all my time testing the best men's fragrances, I don't think one has ever landed with me at a more perfect time than DS & Durga's Rum Bay Rum. As the UK melts through a heatwave, this bottle felt right at home.

Why? Well, to make this as simple as I possibly can – this scent smells almost exactly like a Cuba Libre, and for me, that's the perfect drink for a really hot day, basking in the sun.

The brand's own website lists bay, linden and sandalwood as the top, middle and base notes, respectively. For me, there's much more too it than that.

Sure, woods are here, but the spices are where it's really at. There's definite cinnamon to my nose, without straying too far into nose-piercing, sharp scent. Things remain very sweet throughout the wear, like you've just cracked the bottle top from a glass Coke bottle, and you get that first hit of sweet-spice.

The rum aspect is definitely not too prominent – there's no overbearing alcoholic smell here – though my brain certainly filled in the gaps. Maybe that's just the yearnings of a heat-soaked mind...

Silage is pretty good here, as anyone who has used DS & Durga will be accustomed to. There's no room-filling, overbearing projection, but simply a nice halo of good scent around the wearer.

Sadly, I found the longevity to be just a little less than I'd hope for, really only getting an hour or two before it was little more than a skin scent. It's worth noting that I was testing this in hot weather (did I mention the heat already) and on days where I was a little more active, so it's possible that a cooler temperature might yield better results here.

Even so, I can't help but recommend this. The scent is just so easy to wear, and such a classic that you really can't go wrong. Buy a 50ml and stick the bottle in your bag to top up as needed – you won't regret it!

MEN’S FRAGRANCES FROM MAY 2026

With Acqua di Parma celebrating 110 years in the business this year, there's certain to be no shortage of special launches. We've already seen the launch of Colonia Il Profumo Millesimato, which utilised a specific harvest of the Ylang Ylang plant.

Now, the brand has unveiled its summer collection, complete with one fragrance which utilises a bizarre technique in its creation. Called Bergamotto La Spugnatura, and it's the last part of that name which is important here.

The La Spugnatura technique is an ancient, artisan technique used to extract citrus essence. In essence, the peels are hand-pressed into a sea sponge, before being extracted into terracotta pots, to ensure depth and nuance.

It's an extreme measure, but one which perfectly summarises the lengths to which the brand will go for perfect fragrance. You won't find techniques like this used everyday.

The whole collection was designed with Laura Gonzalez – an interior architect renowned for her 'chic mix-and-match' style. Her recent work includes the Cartier Mansion in New York and the Hotel Saint James in Paris, among others.

Elsewhere in the range, we find the brand's Fico di Amalfi scent reimagined with a limited edition bottle. There are also a trio of 200g candles available in three scents – Sorbetto Al Limone, Latte di Mandorla and Granita Al Gelso – plus a host of lifestyle goods like candle holders, a fan, and a tic tac toe game.

Priced at £236 (approx. €275 / US$315 / AU$445) for the headline La Spugnatura bottle and £156 (approx. €180 / US$210 / AU$295) for the Fico di Amalfi bottle, these fit into the pricing already well established in the brand's catalogue.

It's not cheap, but the best things in life rarely are. When you consider the attention to detail and the determination to continue ancient techniques to produce the very best artisanal scent, it's hard to argue with.

Since it launched its first hair straighteners in 2001, Ghd has gained a reputation for developing high-end hair stylers that deliver salon-worthy results. Its tools have earned a place in most professional’s kits and if they aren’t already in beauty fanatic’s daily routines, they’re almost certainly on their wish lists.

I’ve tested 20 hair curlers in my time as a beauty reviewer, and the Chronos Curve Classic Tong is the first I tried from Ghd. Its 26mm barrel promised to deliver defined waves and long-lasting curls with no frizz or ‘extreme’ heat damage. However, it certainly isn’t cheap, so I was keen to find out if it could live up to its lofty promises, or if I’d be sticking to my old trusty curling tong.

Price and availability

The Ghd Chronos Curve Classic tong has an RRP of £189, but is currently available for £149 at Ghd, Boots and John Lewis.

If you discount air-powered multi-stylers like the Dyson Airwrap and Shark Glam, that makes this one of the most expensive hair curlers you can buy.

Design and features

In terms of design, the Chronos offers exactly what you’d hope for at this price point. Its anodised matte black finish is effortlessly stylish, and there was nothing about this tong’s design I thought felt cheap or poorly considered.

The tong I tested is 26mm in diameter and designed to create defined curls and waves, but there is also a 32mm size available if bigger, voluminous curls are more your style.

Mastering the twisting and turning technique for curling tongs can be tricky, so I was glad to see the curler’s barrel is topped with a generous cool touch tip. This is especially useful for beginners, who can benefit from a little extra support while wrapping each section of hair and navigating the clamp mechanism.

That said, at 11.5 cm in length, the barrel is marginally shorter than average. This isn’t a problem when you know how to use the tong mechanism properly; I have long hair and it curls my hair with no problems, but if you can’t fathom using the clamp, there’s limited space to wrap your hair.

Like all heated Ghd stylers, the Chronos curler styles hair at a set 185°C. The brand claims this is the optimum temperature for fast styling and lasting results on all hair types. While I agree that this temperature is suitable for most hair types and textures, other hair styles I’ve tested have proven that lower temperatures can be just as effective at creating lasting styles. Any range of temperatures would have made this tool far better suited to styling fine, bleached or damaged hair, and it’s a shame that this isn’t an option in a tool as expensive as this.

The Chronos Curve tong also has a built-in heat stand and an automatic shutoff for safety, which switches the curler off after 20 minutes of inactivity. Its 2.7-metre cable is plenty long enough for home and salon use, and it is universal voltage, so perfect for travel.

Performance

Part of this curler’s charm is in its simplicity. Since there’s only one temperature option, all you need to do is flick a switch to turn the curler on. It heats up in a blisteringly quick 25 seconds (just enough time to spritz some heat protection into my hair) and lets you know it’s reached its target temperature with a reassuring bleep.

During use, the clamp hinge felt sturdy. I was particularly glad that there wasn’t anywhere for my hair to get caught or snag at the bottom of the clamp mechanism – a common problem among cheaper curling tongs with longer barrels, which renders the bottom few inches of space useless. I’d far rather a shorter barrel I can use without fear of ripping my hair out, like this one.

Regardless of if I used small inch-wide sections, or tried my luck with larger ones, the clamp provided good tension on the hair. This helped to smooth out texture and create a lasting style. And each time I turned the tong, the swivel cord meant I was never tangled up in wires.

I can’t say my results were hugely shiny, though. The anodised coating isn’t as silky smooth as in other ceramic curlers, which meant the hair appeared slightly duller than I was used to.

However, I can’t fault the styler on longevity. I have long, thick hair that’s very prone to dryness on the ends. I tested this curler on three occasions, and each time the curls lasted flawlessly on the first day, dropping to softer blown-out waves on days two and three. Despite the heat, my hair felt healthy to the touch, and I was grateful that I didn’t feel the need to re-style my hair on subsequent days.

Verdict

The Ghd Chronos Curve Classic tong is, hands down, the best hair curler I’ve tested for curl longevity. If you’re tired of curls dropping out too quickly and are willing to throw money at the problem, this is well worth the investment.

It styled my thick head of hair in under twenty minutes, and its premium finishes and sensible design features make the process simple enough for tong-shy beginners to learn the art of using a clamp. Throw in the fact that this curler has universal voltage, and you’ve got a curler that’s pretty hard to fault.

The only word of warning I can offer is that if your hair is fine, bleached or damaged, you’d be better off opting for something that has more varied heat options, as the 185°C temperatures can still be pretty vicious.

Design and features

Rather than focusing on a single category, Philips has combined multiple beauty routines into one premium cordless device. At the centre of the system is the handheld base unit, which powers all of the attachments and features a textured non-slip grip and a soft matte finish.

The core attachment is the epilator head, which uses Philips’ Double Action Technology with ceramic tweezers designed to grip hairs as short as 0.5mm. There’s also an integrated LED light at the front, making a difference when trying to catch finer hairs that would otherwise be easy to miss.

One of the more interesting additions is the ProGuide attachment, which Philips describes as the world’s first epilator guide with 360-degree visibility. It's designed to help improve the angle and positioning of the epilator whilst you’re using it, maintaining the ideal 75-degree angle. There’s also a built-in LED lighting ring around the guide itself, which gives you even more visibility during hair removal.

The newest and most premium feature in the Beauty Set 9900 is the SkinLED attachment, which introduces red and near-infrared LED skincare technology into the system. The attachment uses a 940nm wavelength designed to promote healthier-looking skin, as well as a built-in a smart temperature sensor that keeps the attachment warmed to around 45°C. The attachment itself is compact and rounded too, making it easy to target smaller areas like under the eyes, around the cheeks or across the forehead.

The facial cleansing brush attachment is designed to remove makeup, dirt and oil more effectively than manual cleansing alone. Alongside that is the exfoliation attachment, which is aimed at smoothing skin and helping reduce ingrown hairs by gently exfoliating the body.

For facial grooming, the Beauty Set 9900 also includes a dedicated facial hair remover. It even includes a built-in circular LED light and a small integrated mirror, which makes spotting and removing fine facial hairs so much easier.

Everything is neatly stored inside a premium travel pouch with dedicated compartments for each attachment. The device itself delivers up to 60 minutes of battery life on a single charge via USB-C, and it's also fully showerproof, meaning you can use it wet or dry depending on your preference.

Performance

It’s safe to say that after a few months of use – especially with the amount of travelling I do – the Philips Beauty Set 9900 has become a complete essential in my routine. It came everywhere with me, from trips to Milan to the south of Spain, and I couldn’t believe how often I found myself reaching for it whilst on the move.

I have to begin with the facial hair remover, as this was the attachment that stood out to me immediately. I’ve always been someone who avoided touching the hair on my face, mostly because I’d been warned against it for years. Luckily I’m fairly fair-haired so it was never a huge issue, but it's true that makeup sits better on smoother skin, because this attachment really helped with that.

I’d say it’s definitely designed more for peach fuzz rather than anything overly thick, but if facial fuzz is something that bothers you, you’ll absolutely love it. The integrated mirror and circular LED light are also hugely helpful, meaning you can use it almost anywhere and still see properly. It’s also incredibly quick and painless to use, and I probably would’ve bought the Beauty Set 9900 for this attachment alone, so the fact it comes as part of a wider kit is great.

My second favourite attachment has to be the SkinLED tool. I already use red and near-infrared light therapy in my skincare routine anyway, so I was really excited to see Philips include it here. It quickly became my go-to alternative whenever I didn’t want to pack my LED face mask whilst travelling, and I found it especially good for calming redness and helping smooth out textured areas of my skin. It’s not the sort of attachment where you’ll see instant results, but when you stick with it consistently, the benefits are real.

As someone who normally sticks to IPL devices rather than epilators, I was also pleasantly surprised by both the epilator head and the ProGuide attachment. The guide helps you move the epilator in a straighter, more controlled line, which not only makes the process easier but also helps avoid hairs growing back awkwardly. Again, the integrated lighting was beyond useful, especially for lighter hair.

I won’t pretend epilating was completely painless at first, because it definitely wasn’t, but I found it became much easier over time as my hair grew back finer and I got more used to the sensation. Honestly, I don’t think I would’ve reached for the epilator nearly as much without the ProGuide attachment, so I’m really glad Philips included it.

The facial cleansing brush and exfoliation attachment also ended up being surprisingly heavily used during testing. I especially loved the cleansing brush on flights or after long travel days when my skin felt congested and needed a deeper clean. The exfoliation attachment was probably slightly softer than I personally prefer, but that really comes down to personal taste. I also appreciated that both attachments came with their own protective covers, meaning I could pack them away whilst they were still damp.

The storage case also deserves a mention on its own – I loved the colour, the overall quality, and the fact there was enough room for every attachment without things feeling crammed together. There was even a little spare space left over, so I found myself storing a few travel-sized skincare products inside too.

Battery life has also been excellent. Philips claims around 60 minutes of runtime, but depending on which attachments I was using, I sometimes managed closer to 75 minutes on a single charge. I usually charged it before each trip just to be safe, but charging itself was fairly quick, normally taking around two to three hours.

Verdict

Instead of feeling like a collection of random attachments thrown together, every tool in the Philips Beauty Set 9900 feels thoughtfully designed and surprisingly practical – especially for anyone who travels regularly. The facial hair remover and SkinLED attachment quickly became standout favourites for me, whilst the premium travel-friendly design, strong battery life and USB-C charging made everything feel very convenient. Not every attachment will suit everyone, but the Beauty Set 9900 is the perfect way to simplify multiple beauty routines into one portable system, and I know I will continue using it for a very long time.

The Beauty Set 9900 isn’t Philips’ first beauty multi-tool. You can still buy the older Beauty Set Series 9000, which offers a very similar experience but without the newer SkinLED attachment.

If you're a lover of men's fragrance, there will come a time where you start to look away from the beaten track. Sure, the likes of Tom Ford, Creed and Acqua di Parma produce incredible scents, but there's also a world outside of those brands where smaller companies are making niche bottles.

I've been fortunate enough to get my hands on quite a lot of them. So, if you're not sure where to start, look no further – here are five brands you might not be aware of, but you absolutely should be.

1. Jusbox

Up first is Jusbox. This brand offers something a little different, with each scent inspired by the work of a different musical artist, complete with a record-inspired bottle-top.

More than just the story, however, this brand seems to always knock it out of the park in terms of scent. I've had my hands on a decent cross-section of the range, and I've never had a bad experience.

My personal top pick is Beat Cafe, which is tastefully done with notes of leather and tobacco, and lots of elegance.

2. DS & Durga

Of the five options on this list, DS & Durga may well be the most well known. Still, the brand enjoys far less awareness than others in the space, so it's worthy of inclusion here.

Another musical option, DS & Durga is a husband and wife team, which creates a matching playlist for each of its scents. I've got a few of their bottles on my nightstand, mainly because the brand does an excellent job of filling the gap between familiarity and offering something new.

Take Crush Balls as an example – it's a fragrance which smells like fresh cut grass. You won't want that everyday, but when the occasion calls, nothing else will get close.

3. Goldfield and Banks

Hailing from Australia, Goldfield and Banks has garnered widespread acclaim on social media for its strong styling and well-executed scents. Everything about the experience epitomises luxury, and never wavers from that point.

My personal favourite is still Ingenious Ginger, which does a remarkable job of compressing the ginger note into something sweet and light, rather than outright spice. If you're looking for an all-weather daily wear option, this should be on your must-buy list.

The best LED face masks have moved well beyond their initial breakout phase, with many brands now on their second or third generations after years of success. The Silk’n LED Face Mask Pro is one of them, building on models like the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 and Silk’n LED EMS Face Mask with a more flexible design and a wider range of treatment modes.

After testing it over an eight-week period, here’s how it compares in terms of design, usability and results.

The Silk’n LED Face Mask Pro is the brand’s most premium mask yet, arriving at £259 in the UK or $299 in the US. It’s still relatively affordable when you look at other LED face masks, but it’s a noticeable step up from the brand’s first mask, which you can now pick up for around the £100 mark.

At the time of writing, it’s also 15% off on the brand’s website, which makes the price a bit easier to justify.

Design and features

The Silk'n LED Face Mask Pro is made from a flexible, skin-friendly silicone that moulds to your face for more comfortable use. It also offers full-face coverage, including areas like the chin and jawline that can sometimes be missed, so treatments feel more even overall.

It’s completely wireless, with a side controller that magnetically attaches to the mask rather than being a separate dangling remote. At around 320g, it’s lightweight, and the adjustable straps keep it secure without needing constant repositioning.

The 'Pro' features include 120 LEDs combined with Silk’n’s Caeli lens technology, which is designed to distribute light more evenly and help it penetrate deeper into the skin. This is one of the key differences between entry-level and more advanced masks, as it affects how effectively the light reaches the layers of skin.

There are seven LED modes in total, powered by five wavelengths, each targeting different concerns. These include red light for collagen support, blue for blemish control, and near-infrared for deeper skin support. The ability to combine wavelengths adds more flexibility compared to simpler masks with fewer modes.

Each session lasts 10 minutes, with an automatic shut-off once complete. It’s rechargeable, and small details like battery and charging indicators make it feel more considered overall. It also comes with a compact quilted travel case, which shows just how flexible the mask really is.

Performance

After reviewing the brand’s previous masks, I’d been really looking forward to trying this one, and it quickly became clear it wasn’t going to disappoint. Not only does it feel like a proper upgrade from its predecessors, but it also holds its own as a strong contender in the LED mask space generally, especially at this price point.

As with all LED mask testing, I used the Silk’n LED Face Mask Pro consistently over eight weeks, which is typically the window you need to start seeing real results. I’ve been using it around five times a week, and I've been really impressed with how my skin looks now compared to when I started.

A lot of that, I think, comes down to the range of treatment modes. It’s been easy to tailor it to what my skin actually needs rather than just sticking to one setting. I’ve mostly been using the dark orange mode, which combines amber, red, near-infrared and deep near-infrared. Having them combined into one mode is such a time-saver, and it means I can target multiple concerns even in a short session.

On days when my skin’s been looking a bit dull, I’ve also thrown in an extra red light session for a bit of a boost, which has worked really nicely.

The cordless design has been another big advantage for me, and it just makes the whole experience feel a lot easier. I had the same appreciation for the Therabody TheraFace Glo for this reason, and I think I'm going to struggle returning to masks with a wired remote after this.

In terms of comfort, it’s up there as one of the nicest I’ve used. It’s even more flexible than the previous Silk’n LED EMS mask, and because it’s so lightweight, it’s easy to forget you’re even wearing it.

The chin strap is an interesting addition. It does help keep everything in place, but I couldn’t help feeling like it might benefit from sitting slightly lower to give better neck coverage. As it is, it focuses quite specifically on the chin area, which may or may not be what you’re looking for. For me, I would’ve liked a bit more flexibility there, especially for treating the upper neck.

Verdict

The Silk’n LED Face Mask Pro is a noticeable upgrade on the brand’s earlier devices, both in design and overall performance. Its flexible, cordless build makes it easy to use consistently, whilst the range of LED modes offers more versatility than simpler masks. There are a few minor design drawbacks – particularly around the chin and neck coverage – but with regular use it delivers visible results and feels like a more refined, well-rounded device overall.

Alternatives to consider

If you’re after something a bit more affordable but still want a wide range of treatment modes, the Nanoleaf LED Face Mask is a good option. It also offers seven modes, including near-infrared light, but sits much closer to the £100 mark.

Alternatively, the Silk’n LED EMS Face Mask is worth considering, especially if you like the idea of EMS alongside LED, as that adds a slightly different dimension to your treatments.

Xiaomi has quietly listed its new electric toothbrush on its global website, suggesting it’s gearing up for a worldwide launch. The new Xiaomi Mijia Smart Servo-oscillation Electric Toothbrush Pro is the brand’s most advanced model yet, and it introduces a more refined cleaning system built around a servo-oscillation motor that’s said to sweep up to 60° whilst vibrating at the same time.

It’s not the first electric toothbrush we’ve seen from Xiaomi, with models like the Xiaomi Oscillation Electric Toothbrush already available in several regions. However, this new Pro version clearly sits at the top of the range, especially when it comes to cleaning efficiency and smart features.

Pricing and official availability haven’t been confirmed yet, but as mentioned, its appearance on Xiaomi’s global site does strongly suggest a wider rollout is on the way.

One of its standout additions is the integrated colour display on the handle, which provides real-time feedback, highlighting areas that may need another pass and even showing plaque levels. The toothbrush can also connect to Xiaomi’s app to provide personalised brushing reports, whilst also offering vibration alerts if you’re applying too much pressure.

Xiaomi claims the toothbrush can last up to 180 days on a single charge, and a full recharge taking around five hours. It also comes with two brush head options, including a softer bristle variant for sensitive teeth and gums – something you don’t always see included as standard.

Dreame has offically unveiled its first-ever LED face mask as part of a wider global launch. The Chrona Photon Anti-Aging Skincare Mask offers five targeted light modes designed to tackle everything from fine lines to breakouts, and it’s completely cordless, making it much easier to travel with too.

The mask has launched alongside two new hair stylers and the Astra IPL Hair Removal Device, making this Dreame’s biggest beauty drop to date. This also isn’t the first time we’ve seen a smart home brand move into LED skincare tech, with Nanoleaf doing something similar with its own LED face mask last year.

The Dreame Chrona LED Light Therapy Mask comes in at $249.99, but it’s currently discounted to $215.99 on Dreame's website, which makes it one of the more affordable LED face masks out there right now. It’s exclusive to the US for the moment, but hopefully we’ll see it arrive in the UK and Europe soon.

In terms of features, the mask provides five targeted light modes and multi-wavelength LED technology aimed at improving radiance, firmness and overall skin health.

At the moment, a lot of the best LED masks come with standout extras, including the Shark Cryoglow's under-eye cooling or the Therabody Therface Mask Glo's built-in massage features. Whilst the Dreame Chrona doesn’t push things forward in that sense, it does have a couple of thoughtful touches, including its cordless design and extended coverage around the neck.

One feature I do really like is the inclusion of a spare battery. This means you can keep one charged and simply swap it in if the mask runs out mid-treatment, which will make the whole experience feel a lot more seamless.

Despite what you might have heard, the best LED face masks and skincare gadgets aren’t a myth – I can say that with confidence after testing more than my fair share. What they are, though, is a commitment. These aren’t quick fixes, and they take consistency and a bit of patience before you start seeing real results.

That’s exactly why I was so intrigued by Nira Skin and its focus on skin rejuvenation through laser technology, which already sets it apart from the usual wave of skincare gadgets. I’ve been testing the Nira Pro Laser (2nd Gen) – even though a newer model has since launched and is next on my list – but before diving into my results, it’s worth taking a closer look at what makes this device different.

As mentioned, the Pro Laser (2nd Gen) is an at-home laser device designed to target wrinkles and kickstart collagen production in just a couple of minutes a day. It uses non-fractional laser technology to trigger your skin’s natural healing response, helping remodel existing collagen whilst encouraging new production over time.

You get five power levels to tailor the intensity depending on your skin sensitivity, and compared to earlier models, it has a larger contact area, meaning you can cover more area in less time. It also only weighs around 140g, which makes it easier to use and hold throughout treatment.

I’ve been testing the laser with the skincare bundle, which includes a Moisture-Lock Hyaluronic Acid Serum (50ml) and Youth Renewal Peptide Cream (80ml), both of which are designed to boost results. The acid serum acts as an advanced hydration multiplier, formulated with a 1.1% concentration of HA, whilst the peptide cream is a deeply nourishing formula with a clinically proven multi-peptide complex.

It charges via USB-C, taking around three hours for a full charge and delivering roughly 20-25 minutes of treatment time, depending on how often you use it.

Why is it more effective than an LED face mask?

The Nira Pro Laser (2nd Gen) utilises a non-fractional 1450nm wavelength laser that penetrates deep into the dermis, where it heats fibroblasts and stimulates collagen production.

This is what makes the Pro Laser significantly more powerful than a traditional LED face mask, which typically operates in the 600–1000nm range and doesn't reach as deeply. Whilst LED light can be great for surface-level improvements and supporting cellular activity, its collagen-boosting effects tend to be less consistent compared to the deeper results achieved with Nira.

Performance

Now, I’m 26 (nearly 27), which puts me in a slightly unusual position for testing anti-ageing devices. I’m not dealing with deep-set wrinkles yet, but I am starting to notice early signs, including fine lines around my eyes and slight creasing when I smile. That actually makes it easier to track subtle changes, and see what’s actually working and what isn't.

After nearly two months of use, I can confidently say this device has changed my perspective. I’ve relied on LED masks for years to keep my skin clear, but when it comes to tackling early signs of ageing, the Nira Pro Laser feels like a step up.

I’ve been using the Nira Pro Laser (2nd Gen) once a day, even though the brand says you can use it twice. I tend to reach for it after cleansing and before applying my skincare, taking a minute or so to run it over my focus areas – mainly around my eyes and along my lower cheeks.

The first thing that stood out to me is just how quick it is. I know I’m not treating my entire face and neck, but it only takes me around a minute each evening. That’s a big shift from the 10-12 minutes I’d usually spend using an LED face mask, and you’re not lying there half-blinded either.

Nira recommends starting low and gradually increasing until you feel the heat, and I found level four worked best for me. Levels one and two were so gentle I could barely feel anything at all, but the top level was too much, especially around more delicate areas like the eyes. That said, if you prefer a completely sensation-free experience, those lower levels are there, though it might take a bit longer to see results.

The feeling itself is completely painless. It’s a quick burst of warmth and quite similar to the sensation you get from an IPL devices, and it’s over in a flash. It does make me wonder what happens once you get used to the highest level, as there’s nowhere further to go, but I believe that’s something the newer model has addressed.

When it comes to results, I first started noticing changes around week six, particularly around my eyes. I had a couple of fairly noticeable crow’s feet that had developed over the past six months, and I was really curious to see if I could soften them. They haven’t disappeared entirely but they’ve faded significantly, and I have to properly look for them now instead of them catching my eye straight away.

I also focused on a faint line in the middle of my forehead and the creasing in my cheeks when I smile. Both have softened over time, which has made a visible difference overall. It’s definitely one of those devices where consistency is key – you won’t see much in the first few weeks, but stick with it and the results do come. I also found it lasted around 1.5 to 2 weeks on a full charge, which felt reasonable. It takes about three hours to fully recharge, so nothing particularly fast, but nothing frustrating either.

One small detail I really liked is how intuitive it is to use. The device makes a little jingle every 10 pulses to prompt you to move to a new area, and it gives a longer beep if you’re not making proper contact with your skin. It’s touches like these that make the whole experience feel more guided and ensure you’re using it properly without having to think too much about it.

Verdict

The Nira Pro Laser (2nd Gen) proves that at-home skincare devices can go beyond surface-level results. It’s quick, easy to use, and delivers visible improvements if you’re consistent. If you’re serious about tackling signs of ageing and want something that fits effortlessly into your routine, it’s absolutely worth a purchase.

There’s nothing quite like the Nira Pro Laser (2nd Gen) at this level, aside from the newer third-gen model which has only just launched. As mentioned, I’m currently testing that one next, so I’ll share my thoughts in due course.

Another product I still recommend is an LED face mask. Even though the Nira Pro Laser has completely won me over when it comes to wrinkle care, I’d still point you towards the Shark CryoGlow. It’s my favourite mask I’ve tried, and its treatment times are noticeably shorter than many other models out there.

It’s always a good day when Dyson drops a brand new hair tool, and that’s exactly what happened earlier this week. After years of fans asking for something they can properly take on the go, the brand has finally delivered with the Dyson Supersonic Travel.

Fast forward a few days and I’ve now been using it pretty much non-stop, so I’ve got plenty of thoughts. If you’re even slightly tempted, you might want to brace yourself – because there are quite a few reasons why this could end up on your wishlist very quickly.

The Dyson Supersonic Travel comes in at £249.99 via Dyson, as well as retailers like Boots and John Lewis. If you buy directly from Dyson, you also get a free travel bag which is usually priced at £45. The hair dryer is also available in the US, priced at $299.99.

Right now, it’s only available in one colourway – Ceramic Pink and Rose Gold – which is easily one of Dyson’s most popular finishes. However, I expect Dyson will release it in more colours, especially if it ends up being as popular as it’s likely to be.

Attachments

In terms of attachments, the Supersonic Travel keeps things simple and comes with just the smoothing nozzle – the same one we’ve seen on the original Supersonic and the Nural. However, the hair dryer itself works with existing Supersonic attachments, which means if you already own either of its predecessors, you don’t need to rebuy anything. It's a huge advantage, and is actually the first time we’ve seen this kind of crossover within Dyson’s hair tool lineup.

They also still use Dyson's magnetic design too, although I’ll come back to that in a second, because it’s not completely identical across the board.

Design and features

Despite being 31% smaller than its predecessors, there’s a lot going on here beyond just the compact size. Design wise, it still looks unmistakably Dyson, with a minimal body and nice weight distribution. It feels balanced and easy to use, even for longer styling sessions.

You still get intelligent heat control, measuring airflow temperature over 100 times per second to prevent heat damage and help maintain shine, which is one of Dyson’s standout features. It also has a high-velocity airflow, so drying still feels quick and controlled, even though it’s been slightly optimised for portability.

That said, standout feature for me has to be the automatic universal voltage. It adapts wherever you are in the world without needing a converter, which is something Dyson hasn’t managed on any of its tools so far. You'll know how frustrating it can be if you’ve ever travelled to the US and realised your styling tool won’t work, so this completely solves that problem.

You also get three heat settings and two speed settings, along with a two-metre cable, which feels more than generous for a travel tool.

Performance

Overall, the Supersonic Travel feels like a really natural addition to Dyson’s lineup, and my experience with it so far has been great. It’s noticeably lighter and smaller, but still delivers results that feel almost identical to the Supersonic Nural.

It's important to know that there are a couple of features missing. There’s no Scalp Protect mode, but that wasn’t something I personally loved on the Nural anyway, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out. You also don’t get a cool shot button, which might matter if you rely on it to set your style, but you won't notice it if you didn’t use it before.

It’s also just really comfortable to hold and still feels powerful, which is exactly what you want from something designed for travel. I wasn’t able to test the universal voltage abroad yet, but knowing it’s there is probably my favourite thing about the whole tool.

One thing I did notice is that whilst all Supersonic attachments are technically compatible, they don’t all feel the same when it comes to the magnetic fit. Smaller attachments snapped on perfectly with no issues, but some of the larger ones – like the Flyaway Smoother – needed a bit more effort to attach and didn’t feel quite as secure. They still worked, but it wasn’t as seamless as with the smaller pieces.

All in all, the Supersonic Travel is essentially everything great about its predecessors, just in a much smaller, more portable form. For me, the features it leaves out aren’t dealbreakers, so considering how highly I rated the Supersonic Nural, the fact this delivers such similar results really says it all.

Verdict

The Dyson Supersonic Travel feels like a long-overdue addition to the brand's lineup. It keeps the performance, design and overall experience of Dyson’s full-size dryers, but packs it into something far more practical for travel. The universal voltage alone makes it stand out from pretty much everything else on the market, and whilst a few features are missing, they’re unlikely to be dealbreakers for most people. If you travel regularly and want salon-level results wherever you are, this is easily one of the most compelling options out there right now.

Alternatives to consider

When it comes to alternatives, the first one that comes to mind is the Laifen Mini High-Speed Hair Dryer. It’s also compact and has smart temperature control, but it doesn’t offer universal voltage – so Dyson still has the edge here.

I’d also still recommend the Supersonic Nural if you’re mainly looking for a hair dryer to use at home. It has more features overall, and whilst it’s still relatively lightweight, it’s better suited as a full-time styling tool rather than something you pack in your suitcase.

The same handful of names have dominated the electric shaver category for years, and while the big players have steadily improved what's under the hood, the actual designs haven't changed all that much. You know the drill: long, contoured handle, rubber grip, a price tag that makes you wince when it's time to replace the foil head.

That's something personal care appliance maker Laifen seems determined to shake up. This relatively fresh brand has built a reputation in the last few years by taking categories the big guys had got comfortable in, like high-speed hair dryers and electric toothbrushes, and producing kit that looks and performs like flagship money but doesn't actually cost it.

The P3 Pro is the brand’s current flagship shaver. It's a compact foil model milled from a single block of aluminium, powered by dual linear motors at a combined 24,000 cuts per minute, with a three-element shaving head, IPX7 waterproofing, USB-C charging and a quoted 100 minutes of battery life. There's even a little glass window on the front so you can watch the motors at work.

I've been using the palm-sized shaving gadget for the past month to see if it performs as well as it looks. Here's what I think.

Laifen P3 Pro review: price and availability

The Laifen P3 Pro is on sale now in the UK and the US, with availability gradually expanding elsewhere. In the UK, you can pick it up direct from Laifen EU or via UK retailers like Amazon, where it's currently listed for just short of £170.

In the US, it's listed at $199.99 on Laifen's own site, and Australian buyers are looking at around AU$249.95 RRP, with regular discounts dropping it closer to AU$200.

For context, that puts the P3 Pro a fair bit cheaper than the obvious rival, the Panasonic Arc5 Palm, which often costs nearly twice as much. So if you're after the premium travel-shaver vibe without quite paying flagship money, the Laifen is a worthy contender before you even switch it on.

Laifen P3 Pro review: design and build

The first thing that hits you with the P3 Pro is how unusual it looks. It's not your typical long, contoured shaver with a rubberised grip. Instead, it's a chunky little metal cuboid, milled from a single block of aluminium, with a small glass window on the front so you can actually see the dual motors at work. It's a bit like one of those open-window watches, and yes, it's a flex, but it's a fun one that I’m glad is there.

The little glass display panel up front is minimalist but does the job, with a subtle icon for the travel lock and another for charging status. It’s all you need in shaver like this.

Build quality is where the P3 Pro really shines. Everything about it feels expensive. The sandblasted aluminium has that cool, matte finish that reminds me of a MacBook, and the magnetic foil head snaps into place with a satisfying click. There's no plasticky feel anywhere here, it feels high-end, almost like an Apple gadget rather than a bathroom appliance.

The issue with all that metal is that it adds up. At 180g, it's heavier than you'd expect for something this small, and because the surfaces are so smooth, it can be a bit slippery when your hands are wet. I almost dropped it in the sink a couple of times before I worked out a proper grip.

It's also worth flagging that there's no pop-up trimmer, which is a shame. For sideburns and tidying around a beard line, you'll still need a separate tool. Given how compact the P3 Pro is, I get why Laifen left it out, but I'd love to see one on a future model.

The travel-friendly aspect is nicely thought through, though. There's a proper travel lock activated by a long press of the power button, the USB-C port is sealed with a sturdy rubber flap, and the whole thing slips into a wash bag without any drama. Just be aware that the travel pod is sold separately, which feels a bit cheeky at this price.

Laifen P3 Pro review: performance and features

So, does it actually shave well? In short, yes, and surprisingly so for a brand that's still relatively new to this category.

Laifen has gone with a dual linear motor setup, which it markets as 24,000 cuts per minute. The slightly nerdy reality is that each motor runs at 12,000 CPM, but the two work in opposition to cancel out vibration, and the result in your hand is genuinely impressive. There's none of that buzzy, rattly feel you get from cheaper shavers. It just hums along smoothly while at work.

The shaving head uses two foils plus a central slit trimmer for catching longer, flat-lying hairs. These foils are ridiculously thin at 0.055mm, and they're made from a low-nickel stainless steel, which is good news if you've ever had a reaction to dodgy metals on your face.

In day-to-day use, I found the P3 Pro one of the most comfortable foil shavers I've tried in a while. It glides over the skin without that scratchy, dragging feeling, and I didn't end up with any redness, razor burn or post-shave irritation, even when shaving against the grain on my neck. For anyone with sensitive skin, that alone is good news.

Closeness, while very good, isn’t exactly best-in-class. On the cheeks and neck, it gives a properly clean finish that lasts the day, but on thicker stubble around the chin and moustache, I felt it sometimes needed an extra pass or two to get it smooth. If you go four or five days between shaves, you might find yourself working a bit harder, but for daily or every-other-day use, it's spot on.

Cleaning is especially easy, too, thanks to the shaver’s magnetic head. You pull it off, rinse the lot under the tap, shake it dry, and you're done in under a minute. The whole shaver is IPX7 rated as well, so you can use it wet or dry, in the shower or over the sink, and not worry about it breaking. One small mystery: hair clippings barely seem to collect anywhere visible. The shaver always looks weirdly clean, even after a proper going-over. I'm not complaining, though! I just suspect these might turn up somewhere eventually.

Battery life is another top thing about this shaver. Laifen quotes around 100 minutes of cordless use per charge, and in my testing I actually got a fair bit more than that with normal everyday shaves. There's also a quick-charge feature that gives you roughly seven minutes of use from just three minutes plugged in, which is especially useful for those times when you've forgotten to charge it before a trip. USB-C charging means you can use the same cable as your phone or laptop, so there's one less faff to deal with when on the go.

Laifen P3 Pro review: verdict

The Laifen P3 Pro is one of those products that makes you wonder why the bigger brands haven't done the same sooner. The build quality is nothing short of exceptional for the money, and the shave itself is comfortable and consistent. I also am a big fan of the travel-friendly touches like USB-C, quick-charging and the travel lock all show that Laifen has actually thought about how people use these things day to day.

It isn't perfect, though. The lack of a pop-up trimmer is a real miss, and the metal-and-glass body can be slippery when wet. It’s also a massive shame that there’s no carry pouch included in the box, and an extra kick in the teeth that the travel pod costs extra - especially when the shaver is pitched as a travel companion.

If you've got thick stubble and you tend to leave shaving for several days, you might want a more aggressive shaver, but for daily or near-daily shavers who want something that looks the part, lasts ages between charges, and doesn't irritate the skin, the P3 Pro is a really easy recommendation.

Dyson has unveiled the new Supersonic Travel, and it finally fixes one of the most frustrating issues with the original. Not only is the new version 32% smaller, but it now comes with universal voltage – so you can actually use it anywhere in the world without worrying about converters.

The Supersonic Travel also works with existing Dyson Supersonic and Supersonic Nural attachments, meaning you don’t have to purchase a whole new set. That’s a welcome change, especially considering what happened with the Coanda 2x Airwrap launch, where older attachments weren’t compatible.

The Dyson Supersonic Travel is priced at £249.99 and is available to buy now via Dyson’s website. It's also available in the US, priced at $299.99.

Just like its predecessors, the Supersonic Travel uses intelligent heat control technology, measuring airflow temperature over 100 times per second to prevent extreme heat damage whilst still delivering fast, even drying. Dyson has also included a Scalp Protect Mode, which automatically adjusts the air temperature to be gentler on the scalp.

It comes with a Styling Concentrator attachment in the box, whilst other attachments – like the Diffuser, Wide Tooth Comb, Flyaway Smoother and Gentle air attachment – are available separately, so you can tailor the setup to your hair type and styling routine.

The Dyson Supersonic Nural first arrived on the scene in 2024 as the long-awaited evolution of Dyson’s original Supersonic hair dryer, which completely changed the haircare category back in 2016. At first glance, you’d be forgiven for thinking they’re pretty similar, but there’s actually a lot more going on here than meets the eye.

The Nural takes everything that made the original such a standout and gives it a clever upgrade, adding a layer of smart features designed to protect your scalp and tailor the styling experience more to you.

Price and availability

In the UK, the Dyson Supersonic Nural is priced at £399.99 when bought directly from Dyson, with occasional bundles sometimes appearing at the same price point depending on availability. In the US, it typically retails for $499.99.

It is widely available through Dyson’s own website and Dyson stores, as well as selected retailers such as John Lewis, Currys and Argos.

I’ve been testing the Pink and Rose Gold colourway, but the Nural is also available in Red Velvet and Gold, Prussian Blue and Rich Copper, and Dyson’s latest finish, Ceramic Apricot and Topaz.

Attachments

As with other Dyson hair tools, there are different variations depending on your hair type. These versions then come with different attachments, so your kit is tailored to how you’ll actually use it.

I’ve been trying the Straight to Wavy option, which includes five attachments. The Gentle air attachment is designed for close-up drying and styling, whilst the Styling Concentrator has been re-engineered with a wider, thinner blade of air for more precise styling. There’s also the Diffuser, which disperses air evenly around curls, the Flyaway Smoother to create a finished look, and the Smoothing Nozzle to remove unwanted frizz.

Only the Gentle air attachment, Styling Concentrator and Smoothing Nozzle are compatible with Scalp Protect Mode, which I’ll come onto in a second. Each attachment connects magnetically to the dryer itself, which makes switching between them quick and easy.

Design and features

The Dyson Supersonic Nural is still instantly recognisable as a Dyson hair dryer, keeping the same signature cylindrical design with the motor housed in the handle for better balance. It remains compact and lightweight, with airflow running through the central hollow barrel.

Where it differs from the original Supersonic is in the added intelligence, as inside the barrel are new sensors that allow the machine to actively adapt as you style. There’s also capsule illumination, where a subtle light changes colour depending on the heat level, giving you a clear visual cue as you adjust settings.

It also includes practical smart features like pause detect, where airflow automatically reduces when you put the dryer down, then resumes when you pick it back up.

One of the biggest upgrades is Scalp Protect Mode, which measures how close the dryer is to your head and automatically adjusts heat output in real time. The closer it gets, the more it reduces temperature to help protect your scalp and minimise heat damage, whilst still drying efficiently. You can switch this on or off, and as mentioned, it only works with three of the five attachments.

Another smart addition is attachment recognition. The Nural can detect which styling attachment is in use and automatically recall your preferred heat and airflow settings for that tool, making switching between styling routines quicker and more seamless.

When it comes to controls, there are three precise airflow settings – high, medium and low. There are also four heat settings, ranging from 28°C up to 100°C, as well as a 28°C cold shot designed to set your hair after styling.

Performance

The Dyson Supersonic Nural is undoubtedly one of the best hair dryers on the market today, and it feels like a significant step forward from its predecessor. Within around a week of use, I noticed my hair felt less tangled and dry, and noticeably shinier too. As nothing else in my haircare routine changed, it definitely like this was down to the Nural itself.

The dryer is lightweight to hold and has an undeniable premium quality about it. It feels sturdy and expensive in the hand, and even small details like the magnetic attachments add to its high-end feel.

As with most hair tools, I quickly worked out which attachments suited me best. The Gentle Air attachment was the one I reached for most to rough-dry my hair before styling, especially as it works with Scalp Protect Mode. I’m not particularly sensitive to heat, so I don’t always notice when tools get too close to my scalp, which made this feature a really useful for protecting hair health. It was also impressively quick, taking around 8-9 minutes to dry my hair, and as it’s the lightest attachment, it barely added any weight.

I also absolutely loved the Flyaway Smoother. Having used something similar on the Airwrap i.d., I was already a fan, but I much prefer the Nural’s version as it has a sort of integrated brush that helps smooth and detangle further.

The other attachments performed well too, but I found myself naturally gravitating towards these two the most. I was also surprised by how quiet the Nural is, which was great when trying to avoid early morning complaints from my partner.

That said, I did find that Scalp Protect Mode could occasionally lower the temperature more than necessary, even when the dryer wasn’t particularly close to my head. It’s clearly a very sensitive feature, which is better than the alternative, and it can be turned off quickly. However, when I was in a rush, I sometimes chose not to use it, as it could slightly increase drying time. Still, it’s a great feature to have overall, and not something I’d want removed.

Verdict

The Dyson Supersonic Nural takes everything that made the original Supersonic so popular and refines it with incredibly useful smart features. From Scalp Protect Mode to attachment recognition, it feels like a more intelligent hair dryer that actively works with you as you style. Whilst some of its settings are a little over-sensitive, its overall performance, build quality and results are hard to fault. It’s undeniably expensive, but if you want a premium hair dryer that prioritises both styling and hair health, the Nural is about as good as it gets right now.

Alternatives to consider

If you like the sound of Dyson’s technology but want more styling versatility, I’d highly recommend the Dyson Airwrap i.d. It achieved five stars in its full review and shares many of the same intelligent features, but with the added ability to curl and shape as well as dry.

Another strong alternative is the Shark FlexStyle, which delivers a similarly fast-drying experience with a focus on airflow rather than extreme heat. It doesn’t quite match Dyson’s precision heat control or scalp-focused smart features, but for everyday styling, it's a very close contender.

It’s that time of year again when we start seeing a wave of best electric toothbrush launches, and one of the latest comes from a brand we only discovered recently – but already absolutely love. We tried the Quip Ultra last year and gave it four stars, so when a Lite version launched just a few months ago, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on it.

Before we get into it, it’s worth noting that Quip is a US brand, so those of us in the UK and Europe can’t access its products quite as easily. That said, there are international shipping options available, so it’s not completely out of reach if you’re keen to try it.

Below, you’ll find my full thoughts, and why this 'Lite' version might actually be the better choice for most people.

Price and availability

The Quip Ultra Lite has an RRP of $65 (around £48), although there’s also a refill plan that drops the upfront cost to $60. This includes a subscription for EasyClick Brush Pod refills every three months for $8 – which is the same price you’d pay for the refills anyway.

The toothbrush comes in four colours – Ash, Iris, Air and Meadow – and is available via Quip’s online store and Amazon. International shipping starts from around $15 (£11), which isn’t too bad all things considered.

Design and features

The Ultra Lite is a sonic electric toothbrush, making it a great option for anyone upgrading from manual brushing who still wants a powerful clean. Unlike its predecessor, which offered up to 10 modes, the Ultra Lite leans into simplicity with just three – Gentle, Daily and Deep Clean.

You still get all the essentials too, including a pressure sensor that gently buzzes if you’re brushing too hard, a two-minute timer with 30-second pulses, and an auto shut-off.

Battery life provides up to 30 days on a single charge, which makes it ideal for both everyday use and travel. Speaking of which, it also comes with a travel case, stand and mirror mount, as well as the charger. The case is plastic and doesn’t feel as premium as the original Ultra’s, but it does the job well.

One of Quip’s standout features is its EasyClick Brush Pod system. Each pod is designed to last around three months and can be easily swapped out, reducing waste compared to replacing larger brush components. It uses a secure tri-lock design, so whilst it takes a second to get used to, it feels sturdy and well thought-out once in place.

Design wise, the Ultra Lite sticks to Quip’s signature minimalist aesthetic. It has a soft silicone finish that feels great in the hand and can be fully washed without any issues. It’s also noticeably lightweight, and the handle design has been slightly tweaked, with a more rounded shape compared to the flatter oval design of the original Ultra.

Performance

The Quip Ultra Lite is absolutely fantastic, and I’ve loved using it throughout the entire testing period. By stripping things back, Quip has removed features that aren’t really essential, and focused on what actually matters day to day. At no point did I feel like I was missing Bluetooth connectivity or a wider range of modes, which I think says a lot.

After a few days of testing, I naturally settled into using the Daily Clean mode, which felt like the best balance for everyday use. Each time, my teeth felt properly clean without any effort, and the overall experience was consistent. The pressure sensor is very useful, and the two-minute timer with 30-second intervals helps keep things on track without being intrusive.

Everything worked reliably, even towards the end of the battery, which isn’t always a given with electric toothbrushes. The handle is also comfortable to hold, and the silicone finish feels premium compared to harder plastic designs.

Battery life is probably the most surprising part of the whole experience. Quip advertises up to 30 days, which is already decent, but in my testing it lasted closer to 50 days on a single charge. That makes a noticeable difference in terms of convenience – especially if you travel or just don’t want to think about charging another device. It’s easily one of the best battery performances I’ve seen from an electric toothbrush in a while.

Verdict

The Quip Ultra Lite is a brilliant electric toothbrush that focuses on what actually matters. By stripping back unnecessary features, it delivers a simple but effective cleaning experience with strong sonic performance, useful essentials like a pressure sensor and timer, and an impressively comfortable design. It also has an exceptional battery life and an budget-friendly price, making it a fantastic option for anyone who wants to upgrade from manual brushing without overcomplicating their routine.

Alternatives to consider

If you like the look of the Ultra Lite but think you’d benefit from more modes or smart connectivity, the standard Quip Ultra is still worth considering. It’s a bit pricier, but offers more advanced features whilst keeping the same sleek design.

For alternatives, the closest comparison I’ve come across is the SURI 2.0. It has a similar minimalist design and also includes thoughtful extras like a travel case and mirror mount.

Last year, Italian purveyors of luxurious scent, Acqua di Parma, unveiled Buongiorno. Since I first tested it, the scent has become a staple of my men's fragrance rotation, with a profile which is perfect for spring and summer, retaining the brand's classic DNA while managing to feel new.

Now, it has unveiled a new collection of scents inspired by the original. Acqua di Parma Buongiorno La Collezione consists of five different interpretations of the fragrance.

Each of the five is conceived as a skin scent, meaning we should be expecting massive silage. Still, at Eau de Parfum strength, they should have a bit of a kick – the original was perfect in that regard, and I'm expecting more of the same here.

Of the five, Buongiorno Al Bacio sounds the most familiar, with a distinctly citrussy profile which is very on brand. Expect top notes of bergamot, rosemary and petitgrain giving way to orange blossom and neroli, with a woody base.

Buongiorno Amore Mio takes on a more floral personality, with ambroxan, hedione and cotton flower. And Buongiorno Dolce Far Niente takes the brand's citrussy signature and leans it towards a traditional green scent.

Buongiorno Gioco del Destino does something similar, but with musky notes, but my pick of the bunch is Buongiorno Buonanotte. That packs in woods across the board, with pink pepper and bergamot on top and just a sliver of musk.

That one sounds like a treat, though all of them should make for nice additions to the collection of anyone who loved the original bottle. Priced at £257 (approx. €295 / US$340 / AU$495) for a 100ml bottle, these are a little more pricey than the original. There's also a gift set available with a 10ml vial of each of the five, which is perfect for experimenting with all of the new scents.

A key trend I noticed from this month’s fragrance launches was unisex scents. This month more than any other, there’s been tons of unisex and genderless scents to cater to men, women and anyone in between – in fact, most of this list is unisex fragrances.

As March 20th is the first day of spring, this month’s launches have also been focused on springtime scents. Think lots of florals and fruits, and bright, fresh notes that capture the lighter season.

As T3’s Home Editor, I’ve covered style for years now, including hair removal and grooming devices. But I’m relatively new to the world of IPL machines which is why I was excited – albeit a little apprehensive – to try the Sensica Sensilight Mini.

For those unfamiliar with IPL hair removal machines, IPL stands for ‘intense pulse light’ and its different wavelengths of light target the hair’s pigment. As the light reaches the pigment, it heats in order to kill growing hair cells and follicles to reduce hair growth and thickness.

The Sensica Sensilight Mini advertises itself as an FDA-cleared reactive pulsed light device that offers permanent body and facial hair reduction. I spent a couple of months testing it to see if it was as effective as it promised, and I was pleasantly surprised – here’s how I got on.

Sensica Sensilight Mini review: price and availability

The Sensica Sensilight Mini is priced at £239 / $229 and is available to buy at Sensica and select retailers, like Amazon. It comes in one colour and has a 12 month warranty.

Sensica Sensilight Mini review: set up

As a corded device, the Sensilight Mini doesn’t require any charging. The only main thing to do when setting up the Sensilight Mini is a preliminary test to ensure the device is safe for your skin.

IPL devices are safe to use for most skin types, but it’s said to work best for lighter skin tones – see this compatibility skin tone chart for more information. As someone who has a light skin tone with light-to-medium hair, I rated high in the compatibility chart but still wanted to test it to make sure it would be safe for my skin.

I tested the Sensilight Mini on my thigh as this area of my body doesn’t get as much hair. I went over a small area for a few zaps and left it for 48 hours before properly testing the device. I didn’t have any negative reaction so I was good to go.

Sensica Sensilight Mini review: design and features

Compared to other hair removal devices, the Sensica Sensilight Mini immediately attracted me as it’s small and fits comfortably in the hand – a marked change from the overly large alien-looking IPLs I’ve seen on the market. It looks more like an epilator than an IPL, and is best described as a corded, travel-friendly IPL device as you can take it with you to use on the go – although the plug and cord will have to come too!

The Sensilight Mini has a button on the back which allows you to customise the strength of the hair removal. Six intensity levels are available, and once you’ve picked the strength, you touch the Sensilight Mini to your skin and press the button at the top of the device.

A green light is shown at the front and top of the Sensilight Mini and it zaps in a bright white colour. When it’s ready to go again, the top LED light will go green which takes a couple of seconds. It doesn’t make a lot of noise but you can hear a gentle whirring.

The Sensilight Mini has a built-in skin tone tensor which activates flashes when the device is in full contact with suitable skin. It also automatically adjusts its power to suit skin and will disable flashes if it detects damaged skin.

The Sensilight Mini is designed to be used on legs, underarms, bikini line and even the face. It reduces hair growth over time, and is quick and gentle, although it does get hot.

Sensica Sensilight Mini review: performance

Once my preliminary test was out the way, I prepped my skin by shaving the areas I wanted to use the Sensilight Mini on a day before. On the day, I showered and dried my skin, leaving it free of any moisturiser or sprays.

I plugged in the Sensilight Mini and selected the lowest intensity level before pressing it against my armpits, up and down my legs, and around my bikini line. After my first session, I used the Sensilight Mini on the same areas two weeks later – as it recommends in the instructions manual – before using it once a week.

I found the process of using the Sensilight Mini very easy. The controls are simple and while I thought the device was a little chunky for my hands at times – I sometimes felt like I needed to use two hands to hold it and press the button – I found it easy enough to maneuver. It also got into awkward spots and crevices without any issue which I found impressive.

The light and zaps of the Sensilight Mini were insanely bright, and I felt like I needed to be wearing goggles to use it. I didn’t find the Sensilight Mini to be painful when in use but it does feel hot on the skin. It didn’t feel like it burnt but the device itself did get hot in places and took a while to cool down.

From the first initial test, I noticed my hair regrowth was extremely minimal straight away. This might be too much information – but hey, it’s best to be transparent! – but as a blonde, I don’t tend to grow thick or dark hair, although I do have to shave my underarms 1-2 times a week. I haven’t experienced that since using the Sensilight Mini and can now get by with having a quick shaving touch-up before my next IPL session.

I found the Sensilight Mini to work best on my legs and bikini area. I noticed very minimal regrowth in these areas which I appreciated. The Sensilight Mini was also easy to fit into my weekly routine and it made me feel more confident about managing my body hair.

Sensica Sensilight Mini review: verdict

The Sensilight Mini by Sensica is a compact, powerful IPL hair removal device that works best for leg hair and intimate areas. Despite its slightly chunky design, the Sensilight Mini is easy to hold, use and maneuver into even the trickiest of areas. I found my regrowth results to be extremely impressive and it’s become my go-to way to manage body hair.

Some people might prefer a cordless model which the Sensilight Mini is not, but the cable is long enough that you can easily plug it in wherever and whenever you want. The main issue I had was how bright the light was as it was extremely intense and left marks behind my eyes. But overall, the results of the Sensilight Mini were hard to beat.

The Braun Skin i-Expert Pro 7 has a similar design to the Sensilight Mini, although it is a lot more expensive. It holds the number one spot in our IPL guide as it offers fast and effective results, and smart features, like app guides.

Philips has launched its new Beauty Set 9900, giving users a full range of skincare and hair removal tools in one device. It comes with seven attachments in total, making it one of the most versatile options we’ve seen in this category so far.

The Philips Beauty Set 9900 includes an LED facial device, an epilator, a facial cleanser, a body exfoliator, a facial hair remover, and a ProGuide attachment for the epilator. The facial hair remover also features a built-in mirror, which makes it much easier to see what you’re doing whilst using it.

It has an RRP of £249.99 and is available to buy from Philips’ online store, as well as Argos and Currys.

Alongside the wide range of attachments, the device itself is cordless and offers up to 60 minutes of runtime, giving you plenty of time to work through each step without needing to recharge. It also comes in a stylish storage case, with different sections for each attachment.

It follows the Beauty Set Series 9000, which is now out of stock, but this new version adds the LED skincare tool. Using a 940nm wavelength LED light designed to promote a healthy-looking glow, it also features a smart temperature sensor and a perfectly timed five-minute routine.

It's no secret the gourmand scents have taken over the world of men's fragrance in recent months. I've tested many, including Choco Loco and Indecent Cherry, both from Korean outfit Born to Stand Out.

Now, another player is entering the game – and it's doing so with a top note I'll bet you haven't tried before. That's because – as the name should suggest – Juliette Has a Gun's Banana Rush features a top note of ripe banana.

Now, if you're thinking that sounds a little peculiar... you're not wrong. There are some food-derived scents which are really popular, but banana certainly isn't one I've come across in my time testing fragrances. Still, I'm always one for trying something new, so let's give it a go.

From the first spray, that ripe banana is really going to hit you like a Donkey Kong sucker punch. There's really no other way to describe it, and it does leave a real mark on the skin.

Whether or not that's for you is going to come down to your tolerance – personally, I found that it wasn't too bad, and definitely made more agreeable by the sweet maple syrup alongside it. With that being said, it's probably more of an occasional wear than something which you'd use everyday.

Sat beneath that banana split of top notes is a heart of coconut and frangipani flower, and a base of vanilla and sandalwood. All of that adds up to the best bit of this scent – the drydown.

See, while some of that sweet maple syrup sticks around for a while, the banana burns off over the first couple of hours. Once it does, the result is altogether more palatable, and something which could sit on the skin for hours without intruding.

It reminds me ever so slightly of Better World Fragrance House Summer Mink which I tested recently. That one was similarly profiled – albeit without the banana – and sits as a warm, slightly feminine-leaning scent, which can be enjoyed by those of all genders.

Whether or not you opt to buy a bottle of this will likely come down to how tolerant you are of the banana. It'll be a deal breaker for some, but if you fancy something different, this is worth a try.

Gillette has announced the launch of its new GilletteLabs Body + Intimate range, designed specifically for shaving and trimming below the neck, including more sensitive and intimate areas.

The new lineup includes four main grooming tools, including three body trimmers and a dedicated body razor. There’s also a 2-in-1 shaving cream, formulated with menthol and aloe to help soothe and hydrate the skin during shaving.

The GilletteLabs Body + Intimate range is available now exclusively at Bootsand the Gillette website. Prices start at £59.99 for the entry-level body trimmer, whilst the body razor costs £23.99. A wider national rollout is expected in July 2026.

Ahead of the launch, Gillette carried out its own research and found that many men still use the best body groomers for both their face and body, which can often lead to irritation or minor injuries. The new range is designed to tackle that problem by offering tools built specifically for body grooming, helping men achieve a more comfortable and controlled shave.

At the top of the lineup is the i7 Body Trimmer, which features a built-in LED light to improve visibility in harder-to-see areas. All the trimmers also come with ergonomic handles designed to provide better grip and control in the shower. Meanwhile, the body razor uses a Triple Defense System to help reduce irritation and minimise ingrown hairs.

Nira Skin has announced the launch of its latest at-home skincare laser, following the success of its Pro Laser and Pro+ models. Unlike the best LED face masks, the new Nira Pro 3 works by gently heating the skin’s deeper layers, targeting areas that are hard to reach from the comfort of your own home.

The technology is backed by strong clinical results, with 91% of users reporting visible improvements in their skin, including better firmness and improvements in concerns like wrinkles, under-eye bags and dark circles.

The device is available to buy now for £699, exclusively through Nira’s online store. The brand also offers a skincare bundle designed to maximise results, featuring a deeply hydrating and skin-renewing topical duo, priced at £144.

Compared to the previous Pro+ model – which I’m currently in the middle of testing – the new Pro 3 has a few notable upgrades. As T3's resident tester of men's fragrance, I've been hard at work hunting down the best bargains to be had right now. There are some killer bottles included here, with a range of top tier brand's now available with hefty chunks slashed from the price tag.

Coach has unveiled its latest men’s fragrance, fronted by musician and Coach Global Ambassador Omar Apollo in his first campaign with the brand. Named Coach Pure Platinum, the scent is said to capture the sophistication and charm of Coach’s hometown, New York City.

Coach hasn’t released a huge number of the best men's fragrances compared to other fashion houses, but its Coach For Men Eau de Parfum has proven particularly popular within the range. It’ll be interesting to see where Coach Pure Platinum lands, especially as the brand says it stands out thanks to its more intense parfum concentration.

“I’ve enjoyed the process of developing Coach Pure Platinum,” says Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers. “I think fragrance is one of the most personal forms of self-expression – it has the power to transport you and tell a story. Pure Platinum draws on the romance and energy of the city, and everything it makes you feel.”

The fragrance opens with a vibrant blend of lavender oil, mandarin oil and apple, before moving into a warmer heart of rum absolute, orange flower and moss. The base brings lasting depth with ambrox, labdanum resinoid and cedarwood heart oil, giving the scent a rich and long-lasting finish.

It's housed in a sleek gunmetal-finished bottle, featuring the signature Coach Horse and Carriage emblem sculpted into the glass. It’s finished with a black leather hangtag and gunmetal plate, whilst the outer packaging features a woven leather texture and glossy black Coach logo.

Coach Pure Platinum is priced at £86/€106 for 90ml, with 50ml and 30ml sizes also available. It's currently available to buy at Fragrance House and Flannels from today.

In 2026, Acqua di Parma is celebrating its 110th birthday. It's a remarkable milestone, and one which I'm certain will involve a lot of celebrations throughout the year.

To kick things off, back in January, the brand unveiled a new scent called Colonia Il Profumo Millesimato. Based on Colonia Il Profumo – which itself is based on the original Acqua di Parma Colonia – this men's fragrance takes a classic and makes everything feel a little extra luxurious.

The bottle makes use of a very specific harvest of ylang ylang, which is taken from a single island in Madagascar called Nosy Be. The 2024 harvest is used, specifically, which is renowned for its complexity and fullness.

In use, I'm not sure the average nose would be well-equipped enough to pick that out, though it's the attention to detail and luxurious 'nothing but the best' attitude which really shines. I don't need to be able to pick out the exact fruity note of ylang ylang which would be missing with any other sub-par harvest, simply to know that it's there.

On my skin, this scent is a remarkable blend. The classic citrus top notes are all present and correct – would it really be Acqua di Parma without them? – but there's a refinement here which definitely feels another step on from the original.

In fact, the 'standard' Colonia is one of my most worn scents, so I feel pretty well qualified to compare the two. That bottle is pokier, with notes which make themselves felt much more quickly.

Millesimato, by comparison, is reserved. The floral notes at the heart of this bottle smooth everything over, making less of an initial statement and instead inviting the wearer to explore how it changes and develops over time. Perhaps, after 110 years, this is Colonia all grown up.

Priced at £200 (approx. €230 / US$270 / AU$380) for the 100ml bottle at the time of writing, this sits neatly in the brands catalogue. Pricey? Sure. But you get what you pay for in this world, and Acqua di Parma is always an investment in a better you.

It was a great day when Shark Beauty unveiled the SilkiPro Straight – the brand’s first-ever air straightener. As a huge fan of Shark (and someone who much prefers a straight style over curls), I couldn’t have been more excited. I was lucky enough to attend the launch event to see it in action for the first time, and even luckier to come home with one. That’s how I’ve been able to properly test it and bring you this full review.

The Shark SilkiPro Straight is designed to dry, straighten and wave using one single tool, thanks to its wet-to-dry technology and innovative interchangeable comb system. You’ll find all my thoughts below – but I’ll be honest, you might be tempted before you even get to the end.

Shark SilkiPro Straight review: price and availability

Available to buy from today, the Shark SilkiPro Straight has an RRP of £249.99 in the UK and $249.99 in the US. It comes in two colourways – Plum Satin and Rose Petal – and is available via Shark’s online store and selected retailers including John Lewis and LookFantastic.

At first glance, that price might feel steep for a wet-to-dry straightener, especially when some of Shark’s multi-stylers aren’t much more. However, after testing it thoroughly, I honestly think the price is justified.

Shark SilkiPro Straight review: design and features

As mentioned, this is Shark’s first air straightener, meaning it’s designed to be used on damp hair. Instead of forcing you to fully blow-dry before styling, it incorporates an airflow system that gently removes moisture whilst straightening at the same time. The combination of controlled heat and targeted airflow means you can dry and straighten in one go, cutting down both time and the need for multiple tools.

If the idea of putting straighteners on wet hair makes you nervous – don’t panic. Integrated heat sensors measure temperature 1,000 times per second and adjust accordingly to prevent heat damage. It’s designed to protect your hair rather than fry it, which makes a big difference in daily use.

One of the most unique features is the interchangeable comb system – something I haven’t seen executed like this before. There are three combs included, each designed to suit different hair types and finishes. The Wide-tooth Comb is ideal for damp hair, helping you rough-dry to around 70-80% before switching to the straightener. One of the reasons I love this is because it actually gets right to the root, which is something I’ve struggled with when using other air straighteners.

The other two combs – the Gentle Comb and the Precision Comb – may look similar but deliver slightly different results. The Gentle Comb creates a softer, smoother finish, whilst the Precision Comb is perfect if you want an ultra-sleek look. They slot easily into the tool and work seamlessly alongside the straightening process, so you barely notice them there, but you definitely notice the difference in finish.

In terms of controls, there are three temperature settings and three airflow settings, alongside dedicated wet and dry modes. If you’re familiar with Shark Beauty tools, the interface will feel very familiar.

The intelligent sensor also automatically lowers airflow when you’re not actively styling, which keeps things quieter, and the unit powers down after three minutes of inactivity.

Shark SilkiPro Straight review: performance

Now, I know I say this often, but this actually might be my favourite tool Shark Beauty has launched so far. It’s incredibly easy to use and stands out in an oversaturated market – which is no small achievement. The comb system is what really sets it apart for me, as not only does it help you customise your finish, but it also makes the tool far more inclusive across different hair types.

I also love the practicality of being able to rough-dry first without needing a separate hair dryer, meaning it's one less bulky tool to pack when travelling.

In testing, I had great results with each style I tried. For wet-to-dry styling, I found the Wide-tooth Comb followed by the Precision Comb worked best for achieving my preferred straight look. On dry hair, the Precision Comb alone was perfect for refreshing between washes.

I’ve filmed a TikTok using it in dry mode, but I had a lot of good things to say, so apologies about how long the video is!

Speed is definitely one of the biggest selling points. Wet-to-dry styling took me around 15-20 minutes, which is still quicker than separately blow-drying and straightening. Dry styling took me about five minutes, which is a huge time saver, especially on busy mornings. The reason it’s so efficient is that you only need to dry to around 70% before switching to straightening mode, dramatically cutting down overall styling time.

The singular negative thing I will say is that there is a safety feature which will turn the SilkiPro Straight off if it gets too overheated. This is more likely to happen if you're using it on the highest heat setting, and as I used the medium setting, it didn't really happen. However, it does take around 5-10 minutes for the tool to turn back on after cooling down, so it's something you ultimately want to avoid, especially if you're styling in a rush.

Shark SilkiPro Straight review: verdict

The Shark SilkiPro Straight feels like one of the brand’s strongest launches to date. Its ability to dry, smooth and straighten in one streamlined tool – combined with the clever interchangeable comb system – sets it apart in an already crowded market. It feels premium in hand too, from the sturdy build quality to the thoughtfully designed storage case.

The only real downside is that the safety shut-off can occasionally interrupt styling if the tool overheats, which can be slightly frustrating when you’re mid-section. However, it remains an impressive styling tool with results to match – and it absolutely deserves its five-star rating.

Shark SilkiPro Straight review: alternatives to consider

If you’re looking for something more versatile with curling attachments included, I’d recommend sticking with Shark and considering the Shark Glam instead. It includes a wide range of attachments alongside the Silki attachment, which is different to the SilkiPro Straight but has a similar effect.

In terms of direct competitors, the Dyson Airstrait is probably the closest comparison – but in my experience, Shark has executed the concept better here, and at a slightly lower price point.
