I've got one of these e-readers myself, and I'd say the color screen upgrade is well worth investing in – especially now it's significantly cheaper than ever before.

You get covers, illustrations, and photos in color rather than mono, plus you can use colors with your highlights too – which is very handy if you want to categorize different types of highlights and see the differences at a glance.

Reading through e-books on a Kindle couldn't be simpler, with Amazon refining the interface over the years to make it intuitive and straightforward. Something I make use of a lot is the X-Ray feature, which serves up a summary of plot, characters, and locations, so you never get lost (something you can't do as easily if you're reading a paperback).

The high-resolution 7-inch screen that the Kindle Colorsoft sports comes with an adjustable warm light, so you can easily adjust the tint of the screen and you don't need an additional light if you're reading after the sun goes down. It's waterproof too, which means less of a worry if you're taking this to the beach or the park.

I initially wasn't sure about making the switch to e-readers, but the Kindles I've had – most recently the Colorsoft – have convinced me that this is the way to go. Text size and style can be quickly adjusted as needed, and these devices are just so much more portable than a stack of physical books, which is particularly important when traveling.

So, if you want my advice, you'll get yourself a Kindle Colorsoft while Amazon has it at this super-low discounted price. You can spend some of the money you save on a bit of reading material from the Kindle store – the 16GB of internal storage that this model comes with is enough space to fit in thousands of e-books.

The Switch 2 is among my most-used gadgets this year – and that's more than a full year after the console initially launched. Can you believe it?

Compared to my PlayStation 5 it gets more of my time. And don't start me on the Xbox Series X, which I've not switched on for probably a couple of years now.

Prime Day 2026 – T3's picks of ALL the best deals

If you were to buy one from Amazon within the Prime Day period – i.e. before the end of Friday 26 June – then you'd also have spent over the £80 threshold for an automated £20 voucher to spend next month.

I know a lot of people had been reluctant to pick up a Switch 2 at launch day. One, because it was nigh-on impossible to get stock. Two, because some were doubtful of the games line-up for day one.

I, however, have loved the first-party games coming out – and you won't get those Nintendo gems anywhere else. Mario Kart World still remains epic fun. The unsung Welcome Tour is well worth having, too.

More recently, however, we've been treated to additional all-new gems. From the joyous Yoshi And The Mysterious Book, to Donkey Kong: Bananza, these two titles alone warrant getting hold of Nintendo's console.

Even many of the remakes feel, to me at least, like all-new games. Star Fox is the most recent example, which I can barely believe is based on the 30-year-old original. One of the greatest Zelda games ever is also due at the end of this year, in Ocarina of Time.

All of which is to say: the Switch 2 has heaps of quality on board already, with more to come, and if you've survived the heatwave and fancy treating yourself on payday then I've not seen a better deal on the console this year.

Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders only opened yesterday and we already have a deal on the cover price.

Usually £69.99 in the UK, Amazon has dropped the price of the Playstation 5 version. Order it through Amazon therefore and you'll be paying less than at other retailers.

Admittedly, it's not a massive discount, but you still get 3% off a game that's only been available to pre-order for a day so far. And, as they say, every little helps.

This pre-order is for a physical copy of the standard edition, which will play on both PS5 and PS5 Pro. You do need to be aware though that it doesn't include a disc – you get a download code in the box itself.

There has been a leak suggesting a disc version will be released after launch, around December time, but for now, you'll have to download the game just as you would if you bought it digitally on your console.

You will thought get your pre-order shipped early, with Rockstar claiming the download code in a box versions being sent out on 12 November – a week before the release date. That's to allow you to preload the game so you can play it from day one.

We're keeping an eye out for other GTA 6 deals, which we'll bring you as soon as we spot them. We'll also keep an eye out for PS5 Pro deals, as we suspect that'll be the best way to play the new Grand Theft Auto on release.

Amazon's latest deal event has been going on for a few days, and I've been waiting patiently for some decent YETI deals. I had to wait until right at the end, evidently, as I've just noticed that the brand is running a sale on many of its most popular products at 35% off.

Ever since I bought my Lenovo Legion Go S (SteamOS) during the Black Friday sales last year, I've used it on a daily basis. More powerful that the Steam Deck and with a larger, 8-inch display, it is a superb PC gaming handheld that can play just about everything I chuck at it.

I bought the step-up model running on the Z1 Extreme CPU myself, which also comes with increased RAM. And while that Black Friday price is not available this time around, Very.co.uk is offering the variant with a very decent £100 off.

That puts it in the same ballpark as the 1TB OLED Steam Deck, but with a vastly superior processor, screen resolution, refresh rate and RAM. Also, that version of the Steam Deck is hard to find in stock.

Whichever model piques your interest, you can be assured you're in for a whole lot of mobile PC gaming fun. I've certainly not looked back since.

There is something romantic about the digital nomad lifestyle, especially if it involves coastlines and vans. One thing every digital nomad needs, though, is a power station to power all your electronics, from phones and laptops to cooking equipment and drones.

DJI only recently entered the power station market, but has already put out a surprising number of units. The Power 1000 v2 is one of the brand's newest models, featuring a 1024Wh LFP battery, seamless UPS, a 10-year lifespan, and a quick-charge function. And now it's £150 cheaper than usual.

The DJI Power 1000 V2 has a 1,024Wh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with enough capacity to keep everything from laptops and cameras to portable fridges and coffee makers running while you're off-grid.

It delivers up to 2,600W of continuous AC output, meaning it can comfortably power high-draw appliances that many compact power stations struggle to power.

That's because Amazon is quietly dishing out £20 vouchers – issued completely for FREE – on any basket completions that are over £80. You can then redeem your voucher allocation on any Amazon-sold product throughout July 2026.

But you can probably see the immediate hurdle I encountered: Amazon issues £20 vouchers when you spend over £80 – and £79.99 ain't gonna cut it!

Fortunately, it's not £80 or more on a single item. It's on the total basket, as eligible (some products may not count, if not sold by Amazon).

I've tested this theory, as I added a budget household item that I also needed, tipping the total past £80 by a few quid and – da-nah! – almost immediately after check-out, my £20 voucher code arrived in my inbox.

You do, however, need to ensure you hit the 'Redeem' button to sign up for the promotion – which appears on any product page that's eligible. Otherwise you might bypass this freebie altogether.

7 mistakes to avoid on Prime Day – use these hidden money-saving hacks

I wanted to use it immediately, of course, but as I've said above – it's only valid for purchases in July this year. So you'll have to await next month to kick off (that's only next Wednesday, though, if can you believe it?).

I've already got my eye on some £24.99 movie purchases as part of my 4K Blu-ray Club incentive, which will go a long way in cutting the asking price down to under a fiver.

Yes, you have to spend up front to save, but as this voucher is free, I can't see any downsides. There are terms and conditions, as ever, so you'll need to ensure you're buying an item (or items) dispatched by Amazon direct come July – but I'm sure that won't be an issue.

I've been the happy owner of an LG C2 for a few years now, a TV that I bought for just under £1,000 in a Black Friday sale and never regretted for even an instant. Right from the start, I've loved its deep, inky OLED blacks and vivid colours, and it also plays beautifully with my PS5 Pro to automatically switch on gaming modes and settings.

Still, the grass is always greener on the other side, and while I really have no complaints at all about my C2, the fact is that it's now four generations old – this year saw the debut of the C6, and it's quite a stunner. LG has pushed ever further on brightness in recent years, and having seen the C6 in person, the difference in punchiness compared to my C2 is pronounced.

So, suffice to say that I'm pleasantly surprised to see this year's LG TVs already getting discounts as part of Amazon Prime Day, even though they've only been available for a matter of months. The C6 that makes the most obvious sense (because of my financial limitations) has a tidy discount, but the flagship G6 also gets included, remarkably.

Either of these TVs would be a brilliant choice this Prime Day, but while the G6 is obviously the superior panel, I think that at these two prices and with these two deals applied, I'd lean towards the C6 for most people.

The upgrades in the G6 include a little more brightness and an anti-reflective coating that is indeed incredibly impressive, but I'm not sure they're worth pretty much £600 to most people. With that sort of price gap, the C6 is a surefire hit, and if you haven't upgraded your TV in a long while it'll be like jumping into the future if you install one.

Amazon is pricing its deals very differently this Prime Day. Historically, the brand dropped prices across all key categories at the beginning of the sale, making it easier for people like me to report on the offers, but, admittedly, not thrilling for people expecting new discounts every day of the sale.

This year, the retailer is going down a different avenue. Seemingly, the idea is to drop the price almost imperceptibly every day, so products are cheaper but not too much, making people think they made a bad choice by jumping on an earlier discount.

It's been a busy week in the world of PC gaming, which is always going to be the case when Valve has a big announcement to make. It chose this week to finally confirm the pricing for its long-awaited Steam Machine, and to start collecting registrations for its randomised pre-order system.

With the most affordable version (sans Steam Controller) coming in at £879 / $1,049, there's no way to sugarcoat it – the Machine looks pretty overpriced relative to the raw performance on offer. In fact, I'm not the only person questioning it – our news editor Rik is wondering whether he needs to cancel his pre-order registration already.

If you want a flexible PC gaming machine right now, though, there's actually good news. Thanks to Prime Day, there's a really nice saving on the excellent Asus ROG Xbox Ally, which is relatively recently-launched and offers far more bang for your buck if you're happy playing on the go.

The state of the gaming market means that deals like this are likely to be looked back on in 12 months with pure nostalgia – the price rises we've all been seeing seem to be inevitable and have no real counter, so brace yourself for far crazier prices in a few months' time.

For now, though, this deal will get you a really handy gaming machine for portable use. It can also be docked to connect to an external display, although you probably shouldn't expect the world from it in performance terms. On its own two feet, though, it's a great bit of kit, and with support from Xbox it's actually more user-friendly than many pure Windows alternatives.

When I reviewed the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Elite last year, I named it the best gaming headset I've ever used, but still couldn't give it the pure five-star verdict you'd assume would come with that. The big issue? Its absolutely massive price, which hasn't really come down at all since release – until now.

For the first time, Amazon Prime Day has brought in a tasty discount on the Nova Elite, slashing £50 off its asking price to make it a bit more palatable. That said, it's still a chunky amount of money for a headset, and the fact remains that there's another SteelSeries deal on an older headset that I think is the better pick right now.

For many of us, the difference between spending £549 and £199 will be quite enough to make this an open-and-shut case, but if you need some persuasion, here's my pitch. I used the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless as my daily headset for years, from the moment it released until the day I got my hands on the Nova Elite.

Would I go back? Not willingly – the Nova Elite is basically perfect from my point of view, outside of that price. However, did I notice a gigantic upgrade when I moved to the more expensive headset? Not immediately, and only when paying careful attention.

My point is this – the Nova Pro Wireless is still a stunning headset, and represents a massive upgrade over many others you might have used. It was the standard to beat for years, and while it's now been superseded by the Nova Elite and Nova Pro Omni, at this price, it's still hard to ignore.

So, if you've been saving for the Nova Elite, then this is definitely a good time to buy it, with its first proper discount. If you just want a great headset at a great price, though, jump on the Nova Pro Wireless while this discount lasts.

The Kindle Colorsoft is what the Kindle always should have been. Yes, the majority of times you read a book, you don't need colour, but there's a reason printed books don't have black and white covers.

It’s the final day of the Amazon Prime Day sale, but that doesn’t mean the deals are slowing down. While there are tons of deals on Ring and Blink smart devices, if you look a little further, you’ll find some big discounts on security cameras without a subscription.

Adding a security camera to your smart home set-up adds extra layers of security to your house. Whether it’s an indoor or outdoor model, a security camera allows you to check on your home, family and guests while you’re away, as well as talk to visitors and scare off potential intruders.

Most security cameras require a subscription which you can sign up for in the accompanying app. But you don’t always have to pay a monthly fee to use your security camera. The five security cameras below are living proof of that, and they’re now better than half price in the Prime Day sale.

Gaming laptop deals are a funny thing. It's easy to get carried away when you browse the Amazon Prime Day sale, and to think that every saving you see is an automatic buy – especially if the laptop in question has an Nvidia GeForce RTX card inside it, for instance.

That said, though, the reality is that a fair number of the laptop deals you'll see in the results of a search on Amazon right now aren't that brilliant – with older components or obvious weak spots. If I were going to actually buy one, though, I think MSI would take the crown.

It has a £500 discount on one of its best laptops, and unlike some of the others in this sale, it's a quite recent launch – the 2026 version of the Raider 16 HX.

Going under the hood, it's obviously important to review the components that make this laptop tick, since they're where most of the value is evidenced, and first up is the machine's processor, a high-end Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX. That's nice and powerful, and it's paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU for oodles of gaming oomph, too.

That QHD+ 240Hz OLED display is 16 inches in size, and looks absolutely gorgeous in person, ideal for ensuring that your gaming sessions are as immersive as possible while using the Raider 16 HX.

This all adds up to one heck of a gaming machine, and while I can't pretend that it's an impulse buy, given that it's still over £1800, the scale of this discount means that anyone who's been considering a gaming laptop purchase for a while should be interested.

The 4K Blu-ray market can be quite a brutal one here in the UK. While the US often gets deals that can make Ultra-HD discs compete with standard Blu-rays on price, we're a little more limited here. That means that sales events like Amazon Prime Day are a total blessing.

With Prime Day now in full swing, we're in the latter stages of one of the year's only opportunities to get some of these 4K discs for cheaper than usual. If you want to check out seven of the very best individual film deals out there right now, we've got a round-up here.

What I'm looking at, though, is box sets. These are often the best way to buy groups of films, since you get more for your money compared to buying each one separately. That said, this raises the buy-in cost, making Prime Day deals all the more attractive. Here are some of the best, after hours of perusing Amazon's sale for you.

A quick check reveals this is officially the cheapest price point this phone has reached this year – and it's equal best to a late seasonal reduction last year.

Sure, the newer A57 model is now available, but that's not hugely different and its shiny aesthetic might be less liked by many people – seeing this Galaxy A56 option as the natural one to buy.

The best mid-range phones manage to hit an appealing price point without making too many compromises in terms of the design and the performance of the handset, which is certainly the case with the Samsung Galaxy A56. Despite it being so cheap, it's a smartphone that's really going to serve you well.

The Exynos 1580 processor on board and the 8GB of RAM will keep Google's Android operating system ticking over nicely, while the triple-lens rear camera – led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor – is ready and waiting to capture all those crucial life moments.

There are plenty of competitors, though, from Google's Pixel 10a to Nothing's Phone 4a (Pro). Both good contenders, but the stripped-back design of the Galaxy model adds to its appeal – and I'd buy it as a cost-saving exercise overall. Even if the basic camera arrangement of the Google is better and the zoom of the Nothing isn't on offer here.

The choice, of course, is yours to make. But if you're looking for a fancy yet affordable Android phone then Samsung's mid-price Galaxy is a choice pick in my view.

The 'Solar' part of the Instinct 3 name tells you that this is one of Garmin's solar-powered models. While the battery life is rated at 28 days on a single charge, thanks to the low-energy monochrome screen, if you're in a part of the world that gets enough sunshine then you will (in theory) never have to charge this watch at all – ever!

Compare that to a lot of the smartwatches from rivals like Apple, Google, and Samsung, where you generally need to make sure you don't forget to charge these devices every night. That's a huge contrast to the Garmin Instinct 3 Solar. I've got enough gadgets to worry about charging without adding a smartwatch too.

Packed with features and rugged looks

You'll notice that the Garmin Instinct 3 Solar comes with a rugged aesthetic, for the simple fact it is rugged. It's well-protected against knocks, scratches, and the great outdoors. Having a fashion statement on your wrist is all well and good, but you're just one accident away from it being significantly damaged.

As always with Garmin watches, this is a wearable packed with features. It'll measure your steps, calories, sleep, stress, blood oxygen saturation, and more. You can log much more in the companion Garmin Connect app too, giving you a holistic look at the bigger picture of your health and well-being.

GPS is built-in for navigation – and for showing my heat maps when I play 5-a-side soccer – and the built-in flashlight has also come in handy more than once when I've been without my phone. There are smart notifications from your phone here as well, reducing the time you need to spend looking at your Android or iPhone screen.

It's undoubtedly one of my favorite gadgets out of the many I own currently, and I'm keeping a keen eye out for the Instinct 4 too (though it won't be here for a while). Now that it's at three-quarters of the original price, it's even more appealing – and hard to beat for a smartwatch bargain this Prime Day.

Who doesn't like a cheap DJI drone deal? I sure do. As someone who spends more hours a day thinking and writing about the brand than I'd like to admit, it's always nice to stumble upon a good offer on DJI drones.

Sadly, this Prime Day, I can't say I've seen loads of excellent discounts on the Chinese electronics giant's products, apart from the cheapest ever deal on the Mini 4K Fly More Combo for just under £200.

But! There are DJI drone deals that are worth looking at, a few of them, anyway. The selfie drone Flip is also the cheapest ever, but I know some pilots take it as a bit of a toy drone (it really isn't, by the way).

Speaking of selfie/toy drones, the Neo is pretty cheap at the moment and an excellent choice for younger pilots and beginners alike. The camera performance is on point, and it weighs half as much as the Mini 5 Pro and has propeller guards, making it a lot safer to manoeuvre the dinky drone.

If you want something a bit more serious, the Mini 5 Pro is a tad cheaper than usual. It's an amazing drone with LiDAR and a beautifully-balanced camera. If you need something even more serious (?), the Mavic 4 Pro Creator Combo Drone is £150 cheaper than usual (still over £3,000, though),

Best DJI drone Prime Day deals (UK)

I've played a lot of Switch 2 ports in the year and change since Nintendo's latest console arrived – and I've written a fair few pieces about how, in some ways, those ports justify the console on their own. Still, there's no denying that some are more impressive than others.

If you're searching for the console port that I think most impressively shrinks down a huge experience without compromising it, and which makes the best case for the Switch 2's graphical prowess, it might be Assassin's Creed Shadows. It took Ubisoft a while to build it, and then some important post-release patches to polish it, but the Switch 2 version is endlessly impressive.

It lets you explore this stunning recreation of Japan without any compromises in terms of content – everything that's in the PS5 and Xbox versions of the game is here, too. That also makes it brilliant value with hundreds of hours of content to get through. So, the fact that it's basically the only big Switch 2 game on sale for Amazon Prime Day is quite noteworthy.

The game sees you swap between two characters – one a hulking fighter and the other a stealthy ninja, letting you take different approaches as you explore the open world. That world, meanwhile, is staggering, full of small settlements and with a couple of bustling cities, too.

It's the atmosphere of rural Japan that is most memorable in it, though, and the way the game lets you take your time to make your way through its mountains, valleys, fields and plateaus. It had me taking screenshots every five minutes, which isn't true of every game, that's for sure.

I really think that getting a port this masterful, especially one that only came out this year, for less than £30 is a fairly huge steal. The fact that there are no other major Switch 2 games on sale makes it all the more prized, and something of a hidden gem in this Prime Day extravaganza.

The Prime Day deals are in full swing, and one of the most common questions during the sale is “can you find Dyson deals on Prime Day?” For years, Dyson wasn’t always available on Amazon and when it was, it wasn’t discounted on the retailer, even during big sales events.

But for 2026, you can find select Dyson deals for Amazon Prime Day, including up to 34% off Dyson vacuum cleaners, hair tools and air purifiers. Below, I’ve rounded up seven Dyson products you can buy for less on Prime Day.

Having been a Kindle owner since they first emerged a couple of decades ago, I've had my eye on Amazon's most recent models – notably the Kindle Colorsoft range. However, I haven't really been that inspired to get one personally.

Two things changed that. First, I saw how comic books look on the full colour E Ink display – it makes a massive difference to see them as the artist intended. And second, Amazon slashed the price by a huge 38% for Prime Day.

I've always been a comic book reader (and collector), and do own an iPad Pro, but tablets aren't great on the eyes over extended reading sessions. And especially not at night when the lights are out.

The Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition is transformative therefore, allowing me to catch up on my graphic novels without impacting my subsequent sleep. And, with Kindle Unlimited being free for three months at the same price in a bundle, I can find the vast majority of my favourites to read for free.

Prime Day is throwing up some other amazing deals too, including a trio of tech bargains picked by former England star and now pundit Theo Walcott – timely with the World Cup in full swing.

Even if the PX7 S3 weren't Becks' apparent choice headphones, however, they'd still be an assured top-class buy. We said they offer "mark Bowers & Wilkins' arrival into serious active noise-cancelling (ANC) territory," in our review.

As they're so high up the league, however, the PX7 S3 has never been a bargain basement purchase. The £399 suggested retail price has been lowered marginally since launch in April 2025, but it's only now that these headphones have dropped lower than ever before.

As this is part of the Amazon Prime Day sale, it's limited to stock or until the end of Friday 26 June – as that's when the promotion ceases. You never know, though, Black Friday could see an even better return in late November – if you dare to wait!

If price is a big incentive to your shopping, however, then you could consider the PX7 S2e model – i.e. the previous generation – which has also fallen to a new price low in the same Amazon sale.

When it comes to the best Bluetooth speakers there are many to choose from, but this waterproof little gem caught my eye as part of the current Amazon Prime Day sales.

I've long enjoyed Ultimate Ears' portable speakers, with the original UE Boom a legend in its own right. That model spawned many more products in different shapes and sizes, with this Miniroll being the smallest and most portable of them all.

It's also the cheapest of the lot by quite a margin – and even more so on Amazon thanks to a discount price bringing it back down to its lowest-ever asking price. So if you can't afford that Bang & Olufsen dream, this UE option will surely appeal.

Note, however, this is not part of an official Amazon sale, and it's not badged as such – and it has been a quid or so cheaper in the past. Right now, however, it's the cheapest way to obtain the Miniroll – in its pink colourway anyway.

Other colours are available, you'll just have to pay a mite more. The 'Gentle Black' is yours for an extra two quid. The 'Revive Grey' is quite a jump more, though, at over £50 – which may be a deciding factor in your purchase.

So if you're in the market for a small, portable Bluetooth speaker that's rugged and waterproof, then UE's Miniroll is an excellent option at this price.

While I did have a brief fear that physical media would dry up entirely – as penned in The End Of 4K Blu-ray Will Be A Major Loss For Us All – we're actually seeing an uptick in titles, old and new (indeed, I just pre-ordered Project Hail Mary in 4K).

Just like vinyl and CD are having a resurgence on the audio side of things, 4K Blu-ray looks like it has an extended future for those who want the utmost picture quality.

And it just so happens to be Amazon Prime Day, where many top titles are on discount. Of the many on sale, here are my recommended picks – and if you spend over £80, you'll get £20 back for next month.

Honourable mentions

• Lawrence of Arabia – largely considered the peak of remastering (as it's 8K scanned from the 65mm original negative), this epic can't be seen in a more epic way. It just doesn't have any discount right now.
• Flow – a digital animation that can push the limits of detail, brightness and colour as a result, this is also a zero-language beautiful masterpiece that the whole family can enjoy.
• Fight Club – finally, it arrived in 4K physical form only this May, marking 25 years after the original cinematic masterpiece. It looks better than ever here, although the colour cast and visual FX have seen controversial alterations.

Honestly, I could go on and on with this list. It's a sort of infinite possibility in a sense, as there are so many good movies I've not included – many of which you can see in my lead image on this very article.

Do ensure you have a decent source player to use for your watching experience, though, as while the PlayStation 5 is fine, a top-tier BR Player, such as Panasonic's DP-UB820 (or UB9000 if you've got the cash) will make all the difference.

I've tested a whole heap of the best noise-cancelling headphones on the market in recent years, and while my tastes tend to lean in the direction of stealthy and subtle ones, every so often I love the look of a more interesting pair of headphones. The Nothing Headphone (1) was a great example, but looking a little further back, KEF has repeatedly done cool design work.

Its Mu7 headphones are some of the funkiest, smoothest and alien-looking headphones the market has ever seen, with basically no straight lines anywhere on them, and I love how they look. They're a great pair of headphones to listen to, as well, and Amazon Prime Day means that you can currently grab them for a lot less than usual.

From a brand that really doesn't do discounts very often, this is a super intriguing and downright enticing deal, but it won't be around for all that long, so if you're interested in KEF's work you might want to jump on it.

KEF is the sort of brand that has prestige you might not even be aware of – as demonstrated by how often it pops up providing sound expertise to other brands, whether it's in speaker tuning or providing sound systems for cars and more. It's a storied house of audio expertise, basically.

The Mu7 offer a long list of reasons to pick them up, but their sound quality is high up that list, with really precise and impressively neutral clarity. They have smart noise-cancelling that adapts to your surroundings, keeping them up with the latest and greatest, while 40 hours of battery life is also way more than even recent flagships from Sony and others.

Touch controls take some getting used to, but KEF's work well enough, and the overall package is really quite excellent at full price, let alone with this 20% discount applied. If you want to look a little unlike most people wearing headphones, be sure to check them out.

When I reviewed the Geekom X16 Pro in May I didn't hesitate in giving it the full five stars. The first Windows laptop from a brand best know for its quality mini PCs has an enormous 16-inch IPS display and more than decent processing oomph, yet comes in a chassis that weighs about the same as a 13-inch MacBook Neo.

I also thought it was great value at the time, with the higher-end Intel Core Ultra 9-185H model costing far less than equivalently spec'ed rivals. And that was without its current Prime Day price drop.

The Amazon deal is available until the end of Prime Day on Friday 26 June, while the direct Geekom deal will continue until 2 July 2026 – so you have a bit more time if you miss out.

Naturally, if you order from Amazon the X16 Pro can be delivered the next day. There are benefits to both, therefore, which is why I include them.

As I originally wrote in my review, the X16 Pro is a "confident, powerful PC". It comes with 17-hour battery life and weighs just 2.8lb (1.27kg). That's even with its huge 16-inch display.

It is superthin too, at just under 7mm at its thinnest point, and only 11mm at its thickest. While the display is excellent, with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution.

There are a stack of connectivity options, including USB 4.0 and HDMI 2.0, and there's Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 on board.

It's currently only available in the US, but I'm seriously hoping it comes to the UK and Europe as well at some point in the future.

We're a day away from Grand Theft Auto VI hitting stores – to pre-order, at least. The game is due on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but you can order your copy from tomorrow, 25 June.

It's exciting – after all, this is undoubtedly the biggest game release of the decade so far and while we have a few more months before we can actually play it, I'm already thinking about my gaming setup. I want to ensure that I'll make the most of GTA 6 from the first moment to the last.

Indeed, rumours suggest that the console version will have a 60 frames-per-second performance mode, and you are likely to get some in-game ray tracing support (on PS5 / PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X, anyway). So is your TV up to the task of showing it at its best?

As for Grand Theft Auto VI itself, that will be available to pre-order from tomorrow, Thursday 25 June at midnight in your region.

The game will be available to pre-order digitally on the PlayStation and Xbox stores, or in physical form across multiple retailers. It'll be priced at $79.99 (with UK pricing TBC). A Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition with additional in-game items will be $99.99.

Do note though, if you do pick up a physical copy the box will contain a download code – there is no disc version.

As someone who's nursing his iPhone 15 Pro through what can only be termed as an obvious battery decline, it's tempting to keep an eye on the horizon for the next generation of iPhones and get pretty excited about potentially upgrading. That is, until you start to do some research and see grim tidings about likely price hikes and component shortages – the next generation of iPhone might be a little off-putting.

So, that means it could be worth looking back rather than forward, and seeing whether iPhones already on the market could offer the best value moving forward. That's what I've been doing this Amazon Prime Day, and it's left me thinking the iPhone Air might just be the best iPhone deal hidden in plain sight right now.

When we reviewed the iPhone Air last year, we were impressed by its build quality and design, unsurprisingly, and that impression has only become more cemented over time. It's really amazing how thin and light the phone is, especially when compared with the Pro models that you might be used to.

That makes the Air really nice to carry around in a pocket or bag by comparison, and its big screen ensures you don't feel any real compromise. Crucially for future-proofing it also has the A19 Pro chip inside it, which means that all of Apple's much-anticipated Siri AI upgrades will work when they're deployed, which is far from true for every iPhone released in the last few years.

The big question for me remains around battery life, given that's my beef with my slowly ageing 15 Pro. I now have to carry a slim battery pack around with me most of the time, since navigation kills the phone pretty fast, and that's a bummer that I'd like to avoid with the Air. Since it's less than a year old, it's hard to know how the battery will hold up over time, but I'm hopeful that it could be solid for a good few years.

I'm mulling this one over, but if you've been eyeing up the Air for while, then you might want to pull the trigger more quickly – this price might not last all that long.

Just last week, I reported on an excellent Fenix 8 Pro deal at Goldsmiths that brought the price down to £895 and thought, "Hmm, that's a pretty good offer."

I've always loved the idea of Samsung's The Frame series of TVs, which work as normal TVs first and foremost but also display digital art when they're not actively in use – and fortunately for me and my wallet, the 55-inch version of this very TV is now more affordable than ever thanks to a significant 36% price drop for Amazon Prime Day.

This model is down from $1,097.99 to $697.99, which means you're saving a hefty $400 on your purchase, which you can put towards rising streaming subscription prices instead. We've done our due diligence on the price history of this product, and it's never gone as low as this since the model first went on sale last year.

So why do I like it so much? Well, Samsung TVs in general are always top-notch, with stunning screens, sleek designs, and an excellent operating system in the form of Tizen OS – which is going to serve up all the streaming content you could want, even if you're not connecting up a separate box or console to the screen.

On top of that, you then have the party trick that The Frame offers: the Art Mode, where you can present a selection of curated artwork or your own choice of pictures. It adds something to the room when it's not in use, and according to the majority of reviews – including our own – the effect is most impressive.

A unique kind of television

I like the idea of a TV screen that isn't going to be completely wasted when it's not being used. In fact, this is such a good idea that many other manufacturers have followed suit – Amazon showed it's the new trend in 2026 – but Samsung's matte display is regarded as the best of the lot at present.

Besides the Art Mode aspect of this set, it comes with a 4K QLED screen – that's the Quantum Dot LED technology that Samsung develops, and which should ensure pictures that are extra colorful. The NQ4 AI Gen2 processor, meanwhile, ably handles optimizations and upscaling in real time.

As we put it in our review of the 2024 unit (that this model improves upon): "The Frame is a great TV choice for those who want more from their telly than just movies and shows... a combination of artful design, smart functionality, and good-enough performance, means it more than warrants wall space."

All that's been stopping me from getting one is a tight budget – and, to be honest, a fear of messing up any DIY tasks I put my hand to (even something as supposedly simple as wall-mounting a TV). With such a big discount now applied to this for Prime Day, it looks as though it's finally time to upgrade.
