One of the perks many Amazon Prime members forget about – or simply aren't aware of – is the ability to play games on multiple devices through Luna. Amazon Prime includes a free Luna subscription and that means more than 100 games are available to play at no extra cost over the cloud.

There are party games for families and friends to play on a TV, using their mobile phones as controllers, and there are AAA and indie hits you'd normally only see on a console or PC.

The list is regularly updated and this month it includes one of my own personal favourite games of 2025 – the multiple award-winning Dispatch.

An interactive adventure game for adults, Dispatch puts you in the shoes of former superhero Robert Robertson, the "dispatcher" of a group of misfit heroes who fight crime around Night City. You're like a taxi cab controller sending them to trouble spots.

However, the team is made up of ex-supervillains and aren't exactly responsive to being bossed around.

The game is split into two styles and mainly hand animated. There are the interactive adventure parts, where your dialogue choices and actions determine the story, while the dispatching element is like a time-management game, in which you are scored at the end.

It makes for a fascinating blend of play. And it's hugely addictive, with the full game split into multiple episodes that you can't help continuing with long into the night.

In many ways, it's like an interactive version of Invincible – the animated series based on the comic books of Robert Kirkman and Ryan Ottley. It's adult and pulls no punches, but also with a sharp, dark sense of humour.

Voice actors include Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) as the lead, seasoned video games and animation star Laura Bailey, and Casino Royale, The Last of Us and Westworld's Jeffrey Wright.

How to play Dispatch for free

You can play Dispatch anywhere Luna is available, either on PC or Mac by heading to the official web page and streaming from there, or on any other compatible device.

That includes streamed via Fire TV Sticks and Ember TVs; on iPhone, iPad and Android devices; or many Samsung or LG smart TVs.

You just need a Bluetooth controller for TV play, although you can also play using a mouse (trackpad) and keyboard on a desktop PC / Mac or laptop.

Amazon Luna also includes a wide variety of other great games, such as Death Stranding: Director's Cut, Control: Ultimate Edition, Alan Wake II, and another personal fave, Dave the Diver. EA Sports FC 26 can be played for free as well, right now.

Games stream at 1080p 60fps where possible, although you can drop the resolution down to 720p in the settings if you're worried about data usage. You will need minimum broadband speeds of 10 Mbps for 1080p gaming.

Prime members should also remember that Amazon gives away a big bundle of PC games for free each month, to download and keep. You can claim them on the same Amazon Luna homepage.

I've tested a whole heap of the best noise-cancelling headphones on the market in recent years, and while my tastes tend to lean in the direction of stealthy and subtle ones, every so often I love the look of a more interesting pair of headphones. The Nothing Headphone (1) was a great example, but looking a little further back, KEF has repeatedly done cool design work.

Its Mu7 headphones are some of the funkiest, smoothest and alien-looking headphones the market has ever seen, with basically no straight lines anywhere on them, and I love how they look. They're a great pair of headphones to listen to, as well, and Amazon Prime Day means that you can currently grab them for a lot less than usual.

From a brand that really doesn't do discounts very often, this is a super intriguing and downright enticing deal, but it won't be around for all that long, so if you're interested in KEF's work you might want to jump on it.

KEF is the sort of brand that has prestige you might not even be aware of – as demonstrated by how often it pops up providing sound expertise to other brands, whether it's in speaker tuning or providing sound systems for cars and more. It's a storied house of audio expertise, basically.

The Mu7 offer a long list of reasons to pick them up, but their sound quality is high up that list, with really precise and impressively neutral clarity. They have smart noise-cancelling that adapts to your surroundings, keeping them up with the latest and greatest, while 40 hours of battery life is also way more than even recent flagships from Sony and others.

Touch controls take some getting used to, but KEF's work well enough, and the overall package is really quite excellent at full price, let alone with this 20% discount applied. If you want to look a little unlike most people wearing headphones, be sure to check them out.

Amazon Prime Day is more than just a yearly event these days, but while the spring and autumn sales are very nice, this is the big one. The main event, the OG, the big dog – and hopefully, the one with the best savings.

The sale runs from midnight Tuesday, June 23 through 11:59 pm on Friday, June 26 2026. Expect a mix of Prime Deals that last the full event as well as some lightning deals that last just a few hours.

When is the next Amazon Prime Day?

The next Prime Day is right now. The sale will start at midnight on Tuesday 23rd and finish at 11:59 pm on Friday 26th June. That means you'll be able to get record-low prices across multiple departments, especially on Amazon devices.

The last Amazon Prime Day took place on 8-11 July 2025, with Amazon Prime Big Deal Days on 8 - 9th October 2024. We expect there to be another Big Deal Days event in October, just before Black Friday.

How to get a free Prime account for Prime Day

You might already know this (the clue's in the title), but you need to be an Amazon Prime member to shop the Prime Day sale.

However, not only do Amazon Prime members get to shop the Prime Day sale, but they also get early access to ALL Lightning Deals and extra offers on Prime benefits, like coupon offers, free Deliveroo Plus and plenty of other benefits. A Prime subscription is definitely something to consider, therefore.

If you're new to Prime, Amazon Prime is available on a 30-day free trial for all new members. If you're a student, there's even better news as Amazon offers a free six-month Amazon Prime trial on Prime Student and after that, it will only cost you £4.49 a month.

What were the best Prime Day deals last year?

Prime Day 2025 resulted in some great offers across multiple departments.

The best deals were on a range of tech, kitchen and beauty products. For example, the Samsung S90C TV was on sale with over 40% off, the Apple AirPods Max headphones were at their cheapest yet, and you could get a Philips Hue Starter Kit to begin your smart lighting journey for under £100.

Overall, Amazon devices had the biggest discounts, with Echo speakers, Blink cameras, Kindles and Fire tablets hitting record low prices. Alongside this, Ninja, Sage and Tefal kitchen appliances came with amazing offers, as did Xbox and PS5 controllers.

What brands had the best prices on Prime Day last year?

Plenty of different brands took part in the sales last year, with Sony and Bose being two of the most sought after. Speakers, earbuds and headphones were particularly popular.

Philips, Samsung and Shark all saw big price drops too, and makeup brands like Rimmel saw great sales.

Due to the cost of living crisis, we believe people use these sales to stock up on essentials for around the home - from washing-up liquid to coat hangers, teabags to cat food. Amazon delivers with incredibly low prices on these products, especially on its Vouchers page.

How much is Amazon Prime membership?

Amazon Prime membership costs £8.99 per month or £95 for a year when paid in advance. For students, the cost is £4.49 monthly and the annual subscription is £47.49.

So, if you want Prime to shop the Prime Day sale, we recommend signing up before the event and if you're new, you can shop with a free month's trial. You can then cancel Prime soon after and it won't cost you a penny more.

Will Prime Day be better than Black Friday?

Prime Day is heralded as Amazon's biggest sales event of the year. However, Amazon is also well known for its Black Friday sales. Last year, Amazon started its Black Friday sale early, weeks in advance of the official sales date. Many shoppers got to take advantage of early discounts and themed weeks that Amazon ran in the lead-up to Black Friday.

Having said that, there are a couple of key differences between Prime Day and Black Friday. The most obvious is that Black Friday isn't an Amazon-only sale. Retailers from around the world take part in the annual event and slash their prices during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend. Black Friday is also available for all shoppers and not just Prime members.

As Black Friday is the more famous shopping event, you might find cheaper prices. What kind of sales has Amazon run in the past?

Looking at last year's Amazon sales is a good indication of what to expect the next time they come around, including Prime Day, Black Friday and Prime Day 2 (Prime Big Deal Days). Amazon constantly has deals available site-wide on a range of products in its 'Today's Deals' section.

At T3, we like to consider ourselves experts on big sales events so by looking at the patterns from Amazon's 2025 sales, we've come up with a few predictions for what we expect to see in 2026.

Like most retailers, Amazon sticks to seasonal holidays, so during spring it offers a wide range of products, including laptops, air fryers, headphones and lawnmowers. As Prime Day traditionally happens in July, there are deals on absolutely everything, but especially on Amazon devices, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners and premium beauty.

Amazon also typically runs themed weeks throughout the year, and specifically in the run-up to its Black Friday event. In the past, there have been Gardening Week and Fragrance Week events. All of this gives us a strong indication that these deals could make a comeback during 2026.

Okay, so maybe money off the latest gadgets isn't quite two weeks in Zante, but from the savings you make in the Amazon sale, you could afford that upgrade to a premium room – or that business class seat on thee way back.

Prime Day is here!

It's past midnight and the gates to Amazon's biggest sale have opened. There will be thousands of items on sale over the next four days, covering every section of the website, from home goods to fashion, to books, toys and more.

The question is, which deals are really worth buying? Are there products among the masses of discounts that are not only cheaper, but are still the best models to buy? We've found them before and we will again this year, stay tuned!

First great deal

Okay, first quick look and I've already found a bargain. The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is 26% off, down to £289. That's a great saving. Yes, there's a newer version out now, but this remains a great tool, and now at a far lower price.

Portable storage for 2025 prices

I know memory chips are expensive right now, so any savings you can find on storage products are worth considering. This SanDisk deal is a must for anyone looking for portable storage. The Extreme PRO Portable SSD 4TB is 39% off right now, taking the price down to £402.99 – still not cheap but not bad for these times.

Amazon's new Art TVs get a discount

Amazon's latest line of Ember TVs look absolutely stunning, and there are predictably some big discounts on them right now, whether you want the top-end Mini-LED model or the basic 4K version. What I didn't expect though, is that the brand-new Artline TV range is also discounted.

These TVs have a matte-finish screen so that they can appear like paintings when not watching them with artwork displayed in place of that big black mirror. The smaller 55-inch model is now 36% off at £624.99, while the larger 65-inch model is 34% off at £789.99

Perfect time for PlayStation

There will be plenty of Prime members wanting to hunt down a games console during the sales, and with Sony's recent PS5 price hikes, you might have been waiting especially.

Thankfully, Amazon is listing the PlayStation 5 current model for just £479 – a 16% price reduction on its usual cost.

You do need to be quick though as there's limited stock and 44% of them have already been sold, at the time of writing.

Everyone's favourite Lego Star Wars deal is back and better than ever!

The Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon Ultimate Collector Series gets a great discount each big sales period and this Prime Day is no different. However, Amazon's price this year is one of the best I've seen.

You can get it for just £546.19 – a 26% drop on the usual £734.99 price point. That's almost £200 off and extremely tempting if you haven't taken the plunge on the 7,541 piece Lego set before.

Ring in the deals with Oura

With a new Oura smart ring recently launched, you can get a great Prime Day deal on the previous model.

The Oura Ring 4 has more than £100 off on Amazon this week, with the silver and "stealth" versions the cheapest they've been to date – just £232 (usually £349).

Enter a different dimension

There's a great deal on the Meta Quest 3S headset this Prime Day, with the headset and freebies for the popular VR game Gorilla Tag on offer.

You get 15% off the 128GB model in this deal, which is priced at just £271.99 (down from £319.99). So if you are looking to get into the wonders of mixed reality, you can now do it for a lot less.

Cool your jets! This deal is awesome

Hot tubs aren't just for cold weather. You can turn off the heat and just enjoy the bubbles. This Lay-z-spa model is now just £280 on Very, thanks to £100 saving. Just imagine spending your evenings sat here with a glass of something in your hand. Or working from home while sat in this tub... that's it, I'm ordering one now.

Apple Studio Monitor gets unmissable lightning deal

Apple's 27-inch 5 K monitor is a dream pairing for Macs and MacBooks, if you can afford it, and right now the original model (not the new XDR) is discounted by a huge 37%. This takes the price of the Apple Studio Display down to £1099 while stock lasts – and that won't be long at this rate.

Pixel 10 Pro with 29% off

Google's Pixel 10 Pro XL is a big phone, with a 6.8-inch screen, but it no longer has a big price. That's because you ocan pick it up right now with 29% off on Amazon. That's the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL 256GB for £849 – available in all four colours for the same price.

This is the Echo device to buy this year

The Amazon Echo Show line-up continues to improve, but the one to look out for is the Echo Show 11. While the service will roll out to all devices eventually, the 11 gets it right away, giving you access to a much improved assistant. If you want to see what's popular with other buyers right now, the Top 100 list is a good place to start. The Ring Battery Video Doorbell is the current number one thanks to the 53% off, followed by the Kindle Paperwhite and the Apple AirPods 4 with ANC.

While these are obviously good deals, the really interesting stuff tends to be harder to find. Like this Oura Ring 4 model with 46% off, or the Samsung Galaxy Flip 7 phone with 26% off.

Top Bowers & Wilkins headphones get 36% off

If you're looking for a premium set of headphones, this deal is for you. The Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S3 aren't the flagship model, but they're pretty close and offer incredible sound. Right now you can get the white pair with a huge 36% off, taking the price down to £255. If you want the black pair, it will only cost you a little more at £264.

The smart lock that's even smarter at this price

The Nuki Smart Lock Ultra is one of the best smart locks on the planet, and it's currently discounted in the Amazon sale. Right now you can get 26% off taking it down to £229 for the device and the new cylinder for the key. I tested the Nuki Smart Lock back in March with the Ultion cylinder and loved it, so would highly recommend it to anyone.

Ceiling fans

There's a reason ceiling fans are so prevalent in hot countries – that's because they work. I'd have them in every room if I could. Despite being a relatively new set, the Lego Star Trek Enterprise is on sale. This 3,600 piece build includes two shuttlepods and nine minifigures of the crew. With £40 off the price is now just £309.99. Move fast if you want one, as I doubt the deal will last long.

We've seen plenty of arcade machine reissues during sales events, but here's a digital pinball unit where you can switch between 12 different classic Gottlieb tablets. If you'd rather drive than watch a screen, then you're in luck, as Amazon Prime Day has some deals for motorists too. In the Amazon Auto section, you'll find deals on EV chargers, Dash Cams, jump starters, phone holders and much more. We've rounded up some of the best here.

Belkin deals

Belkin produces some great accessories for charging, especially for iPhone users, and there's lots on sale in Amazon's Prime Day sale. The Belkin BoostCharge 3-in-1 is one of the best-looking bedside chargers, and is now just £59.49. The BoostCharge power bank 10000mAh is 44% off at just £13.99 and is an amazing battery pack that has enough charge to keep any of your gadgets running – something I always keep in my bag. And for Nintendo Switch 2 users, the Belkin Gaming Nintendo Switch 2 charger case is a must and now only £49.99.

Feeling the heat? These fans can be delivered in 24 hours

Today is the hottest day of the year for much of the UK, and though few places offer same day delivery, there are still some next day delivery options on Amazon, including some handheld fans. Here are a few models to check out if you're in need (all discounted for Prime Day).

What's in the top 100?

Amazon's list of Top 100 deals are the deals that you are buying – well, that someone is buying anyway. As you might expect, there's a lot of Amazon devices on there, from the Kindle Paperwhite to the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus, Ring doorbell and Echo Shows. But there's also some other big-name products that you might have missed so far. Like the Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones and the Asus Vivobook S14.

Flip the switch?

I feel like this is a deal that's gone fairly unnoticed so far, but you can now get the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 phone for £849, which is 26% off the RRP. This is a really great little phone with a big screen that fits in your pocket, and has an excellent camera too.

Portable air conditioning you can take camping

Here's one portable air conditioner you can still buy in the Amazon sale. The EcoFlow Wave 3 not only offers 6100 BTU cooling for ice cold air, but it has a built in battery so it can run for up to 8 hours. That makes it perfect for keeping cool while off the grid, whether you're camping, in an RV or just away from a plug. Right now it's 13% off, with a price of £699.

Apple Watch with 22% off

There's a really good price on the Apple Watch Series 11 line right now. Teh 42mm is 22% off at just £289, while the larger 46mm version is 21% off at £317.

Final day of sales

The Prime Day sales finish at midnight tonight, so there's likely to be one last push for those deals and some excellent offers to be had. Lightning deals are coming again at 9am and 5pm today, with the first three products appearing to be a carry-on suitcase, a Philips Sonicare 6100 toothbrush and a Braun Series 7 trimmer and shaver. Be online at 9am to catch them.

What's the most expensive item in the Prime Day sale?

This Alienware desktop machine is the most expensive item in the Prime Day sale right now. Even with its 20% saving, the Alienware Area-51 Gaming Desktop will cost you £5299, which is a lot of money for a PC. However, that 20% off represents a massive £1300 saving on what is one of the most powerful gaming PCs around. It sports an Intel Core Ultra 9 series 2 processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX5090 graphics card, 64GB RAM and a 4TB SSD hard drive – this thing is immense.

Colour me interested

Do you really need a colour Kindle? Probably not but would you buy one if they were practically the same price as the regular one? Of course you would. Well, the good news is there's currently 38% off the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition and 35% off the regular version. That means you can pick up the Kindle Colorsoft for £154.99, or the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition for £166.24.

Sonos surround deal

You can create the perfect surround sound system by adding two of the Sonos Era speakers to an existing Sonos Soundbar and right now it's cheaper to do so.

In the Prime Day sale, the Sonos Era 100 SL are down to £141, that's 17% off, so you can save £56 on a pair.

Don't let these deal (LE)GO without buying one

Okay, it's a stretch, but there really are some great LEGO deals right now, from Lord of the Rings sets, to the Trevi fountain (who knew?). My favourites though, have to be the Polaroid SX-70 set, which is 19% off, and the NASA Artemis space rocket set, which has 15% off.

Plaud Note gets a big discount

The Plaud Note devices are groundbreaking in terms of AI voice recording, with some of the best summaries on the market. In the Prime Day sale there's big discounts on the devices too, from the Plaud NotePin S with 15% off at £135 to the Plaud Note Pro with 15% off at £143. If you need to take notes anywhere, these are a game changer.

Lego is one of our most favourite brands, with some ace products under its belt. With that in mind, we've covered all the best Prime Day deals on the stuff – and here are the top last-minute buys before the sale ends.

Middle of Lidl anyone?

For those in the UK who know Lidl (yes, the German supermarket), well, after the Tronic portable AC unit sold out in little time, you now have the chance to buy the brand's bladeless tower fan for just £59.99 instead – which is confirmed as in stock in some stores.

Check the official Lidl site and store stock tracker before traipsing out in the heat to your local, though. Some have stock, some do not. So g'luck, as this fan looks like a bargain little saviour – especially with so many other brands having sold out!

Grand Theft Auto VI for a steal

Not strictly a Prime Day deal and not the biggest discount you'll ever see, but if you are one of the millions wanting to preorder Grand Theft Auto VI you can do so on Amazon for less right now.

While other retailers are selling it for the £69.99 RRP, Amazon has both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S boxed versions for £68. So you get to save 3%.

As they say, every little helps.

No body panic, but it's hot outside, and we all know the perfect we to cool off is by relaxing in water. Unless you're one of the clever ones that invested in a hot tub back in 2020, the chances are the options for this are pretty slim. Luckily though, Prime Day has you covered.

While there aren't a huge amount of deals to be had on things to keep you cool (probably as people are buying them anyway), there are some discounts on hot tubs. You may be thinking, yes but hot tubs are hot! Well, yes, but they don't have to be. Turn down the temperature and just enjoy the bubbles!

Amazon's Prime Deal Days Sale is live, and unlike during the retailer giant's spring sale, there are a number of Garmin watches on offer. 12 in total, to be precise, including renewed offers.

Similar to the last Amazon shopping event earlier this year, the headliner deal is on Garmin's flagship adventure watch, the Fenix 8 AMIOLED, which is currently selling for 28% off, saving you over £220.

The Forerunner 265 has never been this cheap, either, making this mid-range running watch all the more appealing. The beginner-friendly Forerunner 165 plummeted to its lowest-ever price, too, if that's something you're interested in.

The sale also includes one of the lowest prices ever on the Instinct 3 Solar smartwatch, which offers up to 28 days of battery life when the solar panels are exposed to enough sunlight.

Amazon Prime Day is more than just a yearly event these days, but while the spring and autumn sales are very nice, this is the big one. The main event, the OG, the big dog – and hopefully, the one with the best savings.

The sale runs from midnight on Tuesday, 23 June to 11:59 pm on Friday, 26 June 2026. Expect a mix of Prime Deals that last the full event as well as some lightning deals that last just a few hours.

When is the next Amazon Prime Day?

The next Prime Day is right now. The sale will start at midnight on Tuesday 23rd and finish at 11:59 pm on Friday 26th June. That means you'll be able to get record-low prices across multiple departments, especially on Amazon devices.

The last Amazon Prime Day took place on 8-11 July 2025, with Amazon Prime Big Deal Days on 8 - 9th October 2024. We expect there to be another Big Deal Days event in October, just before Black Friday.

How to get a free Prime account for Prime Day

You might already know this (the clue's in the title), but you need to be an Amazon Prime member to shop the Prime Day sale.

However, not only do Amazon Prime members get to shop the Prime Day sale, but they also get early access to ALL Lightning Deals and extra offers on Prime benefits, like coupon offers, free Deliveroo Plus and plenty of other benefits. A Prime subscription is definitely something to consider, therefore.

If you're new to Prime, Amazon Prime is available on a 30-day free trial for all new members. If you're a student, there's even better news as Amazon offers a free six-month Amazon Prime trial on Prime Student and after that, it will only cost you £4.49 a month.

What were the best Prime Day deals last year?

Prime Day 2025 resulted in some great offers across multiple departments.

The best deals were on a range of tech, kitchen and beauty products. For example, the Samsung S90C TV was on sale with over 40% off, the Apple AirPods Max headphones were at their cheapest yet, and you could get a Philips Hue Starter Kit to begin your smart lighting journey for under £100.

Overall, Amazon devices had the biggest discounts, with Echo speakers, Blink cameras, Kindles and Fire tablets hitting record low prices. Alongside this, Ninja, Sage and Tefal kitchen appliances came with amazing offers, as did Xbox and PS5 controllers.

What brands had the best prices on Prime Day last year?

Plenty of different brands took part in the sales last year, with Sony and Bose being two of the most sought after. Speakers, earbuds and headphones were particularly popular.

Philips, Samsung and Shark all saw big price drops too, and makeup brands like Rimmel saw great sales.

Due to the cost of living crisis, we believe people use these sales to stock up on essentials for around the home - from washing-up liquid to coat hangers, teabags to cat food. Amazon delivers with incredibly low prices on these products, especially on its Vouchers page.

How much is Amazon Prime membership?

Amazon Prime membership costs £8.99 per month or £95 for a year when paid in advance. For students, the cost is £4.49 monthly and the annual subscription is £47.49.

So, if you want Prime to shop the Prime Day sale, we recommend signing up before the event and if you're new, you can shop with a free month's trial. You can then cancel Prime soon after and it won't cost you a penny more.

Will Prime Day be better than Black Friday?

Prime Day is heralded as Amazon's biggest sales event of the year. However, Amazon is also well known for its Black Friday sales. Last year, Amazon started its Black Friday sale early, weeks in advance of the official sales date. Many shoppers got to take advantage of early discounts and themed weeks that Amazon ran in the lead-up to Black Friday.

Having said that, there are a couple of key differences between Prime Day and Black Friday. The most obvious is that Black Friday isn't an Amazon-only sale. Retailers from around the world take part in the annual event and slash their prices during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend. Black Friday is also available for all shoppers and not just Prime members.

As Black Friday is the more famous shopping event, you might find cheaper prices. However, Amazon is a big component of the Black Friday sale and its Prime Day sales have some of the cheapest offers on the day. This isn't to say that Amazon won't have low prices on Black Friday but if you're a regular Amazon shopper or Prime user, you'll find the cheapest offers available during the Prime Day sale.

So, if you want to save extra money in the Prime Day sale, here are the best Prime Member benefits you should definitely use this Prime Day.

Check your delivery options

While the main benefit of Prime is flexible deliveries, one delivery option that can help you save money is free no-rush shipping. This accumulates all your frequent purchases together like toiletries, cleaning products and beauty essentials, which makes checking out easier and offers up to 15% off the original price when you schedule repeat deliveries.

What kind of sales has Amazon run in the past?

Looking at last year's Amazon sales is a good indication of what to expect the next time they come around, including Prime Day, Black Friday and Prime Day 2 (Prime Big Deal Days). Amazon constantly has deals available site-wide on a range of products in its 'Today's Deals' section.

At T3, we like to consider ourselves experts on big sales events so by looking at the patterns from Amazon's 2025 sales, we've come up with a few predictions for what we expect to see in 2026.

Like most retailers, Amazon sticks to seasonal holidays, so during spring it offers a wide range of products, including laptops, air fryers, headphones and lawnmowers. As Prime Day traditionally happens in July, there are deals on absolutely everything, but especially on Amazon devices, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners and premium beauty.

Amazon also typically runs themed weeks throughout the year, and specifically in the run-up to its Black Friday event. In the past, there have been Gardening Week and Fragrance Week events. All of this gives us a strong indication that these deals could make a comeback during 2026.

Amazon split Prime Video membership in two a couple of years ago, asking Prime members to pay extra for an ad-free experience. Now it's widening the gap between the "free" and paid plans further, both in cost and streaming quality.

It is launching a new Prime Video Ultra tier, which will replace the current ad-free experience and introduce a few new features. However, the price of the add-on is going up, while the quality of the standard tier included with a Prime subscription will drop.

This is specific to the US for now, with the new Prime Video Ultra plan arriving in the country on 10 April 2026. It'll be priced at $4.99 per month (almost double the $2.99 of the existing ad-free add-on). That's on top of Prime membership.

In return, Ultra members will get up to 4K streams in HDR10+ and/or Dolby Vision, and with up to Dolby Atmos audio. Also expanded are the maximum amount of offline downloads available – up to 100 from 25 previously.

Ultra also enables five concurrent streams, up to three.

On the flip side, the ad-supported version of Prime Video – which is free with Amazon Prime membership – loses 4K. HDR is still supported, but only at a maximum video resolution of 1080p.

You do get Dolby Vision support for the first time though, plus double the amount of offline downloads available (to 50 from 25) and an additional concurrent stream (to four).

I'm not sure the extra benefits make up for the loss of Ultra HD streaming, however. Especially when Prime membership already costs $14.99 a month, and the step-up plan is more expensive.

Will Amazon Prime Video price hikes also hit the UK and Europe?

Although there has been no official announcement yet, it seems only a matter of time before we'll get similar price rises in the UK, Europe and further afield.

The current Ad Free plan continues to cost £2.99 per month in the UK, but there's time yet before 10 April and a potential hike. Even if it takes a bit longer, it's almost certain to come at some point.

In all honesty though, in comparison with rival streaming services, Amazon's platform has remained remarkably affordable for many years. It was a totally free, unrestricted benefit of Prime membership for over a decade and, in comparison with the likes of Netflix and Disney+, even asking for an additional payment for ad-free 4K HDR streaming seemed good value.

After all, you are getting next- or same-day delivery on thousands of items, Amazon Prime Gaming (now Luna), free Kindle eBooks, and a whole lot of other benefits beyond Prime Video. All for around the same price as other streaming services' Premium subscriptions.

It's the drop in quality for the ad-supported service that rankles most, though. Maybe the advertising model isn't as successful as Amazon had originally hoped.

Amazon claims that it needs to up the price of its top tier to help pay for content – such as the excellent Fallout and The Boys. It is also investing more in live events, such as European Champions League football in the UK.

That and increased competition have clearly forced its hand. It'll be interesting to see just how many will be willing to pay even more though, or whether 1080p is good enough, considering how many watch on mobile anyway.

Amazon Prime members have been spoiled with freebies in recent times, including longer trial periods for Amazon Music Unlimited and Kindle Unlimited. However, gamers are seemingly spoiled the most, with a whole tonne of games available each month at no extra cost.

That's either through Luna – Amazon's cloud gaming platform that can be played on a TV without the need for a games console – or its collection of completely free PC games offered via Prime Gaming.

The latter is updated regularly too, so there's always something to download. And they work across laptops, desktop PCs and even PC gaming handhelds, giving you plenty of options to play them. What's more, unlike some other game services, once you've claimed your Prime Gaming titles, they are yours to keep.

This month has a particularly neat selection, with a couple of February titles available to download now. And the headliner is a first-person shooter that I believe has been criminally overlooked by many.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a spinoff of the Borderlands series. Tiny Tina herself was first introduced in Borderlands 2 as a bomb-toting teenager, and in this dedicated game, the action switches to a fantasy setting as she takes you through a tabletop role-playing game-style experience.

It's just as crazy as the Borderlands games – more so, perhaps. And it looks and feels great, with plenty of weapons to loot and use. It's also genuinely funny at times, and keeps that cell-shaded comic book-like graphical style of which the series is synonymous.

It's well worth a play therefore, especially for free.

How to download your free Amazon Prime games

Alongside Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, the Amazon Luna downloads also include Dread Templar, Hexguardian, Around the World: Travel to Brazil Collector’s Edition, Ambition: A Minuet in Power, Captain Blood, Meganoid, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, Total War: Attila, and Tavern Talk.

They'll be available across the month, with one or two titles dropping each week. Tiny Tina's is already available now.

To claim them you need to head to the Amazon Luna page for your region, find the game and hit "Claim Game".

More often than not, this will take you to a digital game store to redeem, of which you'll need to be a free member. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, for example, is redeemable via the Epic Games Store, although if you've linked your Amazon and Epic accounts, it should allow you to claim it without having to leave Luna.

Other stores involved include GOG and Amazon itself.

As the games are streamed over the internet, with your control movements sent in the opposite direction, there are no lengthy downloads. You just open the Luna app (or head to the dedicated web page), click on the game you want to play and away you go.

Some party games don't even need a dedicated controller, you can use your smartphone or tablet to play. That includes the exclusive new title Court Room Chaos – Starring Snoop Dogg and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

And, if you want even more games at your fingertips, an Amazon Luna Premium subscription is available to add a whole host of additional big name titles. Ubisoft+ and Jackbox Games add-ons are available too.

However, you don't have to pay a penny extra if you don't want to, and the free games list is decent already. There should be enough for everyone to be getting on with.

When a sale like Amazon's current Prime Big Deal Days rolls around, it's mighty tempting to get really far into the weeds trying to find the most unheard of deal, or the biggest possible dollar reduction. Sometimes, though, you have to remember to see the wood for the trees, and go for the easy wins.

If you've had even the slightest frustration with your TV's built-in streaming apps in the last year, I'd describe this deal as exactly that: a super easy win. It rolls around every time there's a Prime-themed sale, but that doesn't make it any less excellent – a completely half-price Fire TV Stick 4K from Amazon itself.

As the name suggests, this is a supremely affordable way to get 4K streaming on your TV, and all you need is an HDMI cable to stick the device into – once you do, you'll be away with Amazon's Fire TV OS, which is really smooth and easy to use.

Plus, because this is one of the world's most popular streaming devices, it has all the apps you might need, from giants like Netflix and Apple TV+ to smaller platforms that you can subscribe to. Of course, that also includes Prime Video, which is front and centre.

The included remote is great, with full voice control through Alexa if you like, and it's a pretty terrific package for just $25 as long as this sale lasts. On that note, though, you only have until midnight to act, otherwise you'll probably need to wait for the next full-on Prime Day to get one this cheap.

Bowers & Wilkins has long made the best in-ears for the luxury market. The brand has Becks on the team as an ambassador, too, with these Pi8 in-ears (plus the Px7 S3 and Px8 S2) part of his repertoire.

Even if the Pi8 weren't Becks' apparent choice earbuds, however, they'd still be an assured top-class buy. We said they offer "great sound, thorough specification and unexpectedly swish design," in our review.

As they're so high up the league, however, the Pi8 have never been a bargain basement purchase. The £349 suggested retail price has been lowered marginally since launch, but it's only now that these earbuds have dropped to a new price low.

Having checked using third-party price-checker site, CamelCamelCamel, the previous £299 low has been reduced yet further as part of Amazon's October Prime Day sale.

That sale is meant to end today, 8th October, so you might want to get a wriggle on – in case the deal doesn't go into extra time. You never know, though, Black Friday could see an even better return in late November.

Earlier this year, I was able to visit Marshall HQ to see how the brand was creating a soundbar "the Marshall way". It was a sure 5-star success story, too, as the resulting Heston 120 is incredible.

So when I saw that the company's mid-size Bluetooth speaker, the Acton III, had quietly gone on offer, with a third cut from its price, I've since been hugely tempted to nab this new deal.

I know the Acton III is a winning product, as highlighted in our review – from 2022, making me wonder where the time goes! – which praised the speaker for being "small and stylish", while delivering "surprisingly big sound".

We're hurtling towards the twilight of Amazon's ongoing Prime Big Deal Days sale, which many are labelling this quarter's Prime Day – and the deals haven't dried up yet. If you're on the lookout for some new additions to your tech arsenal, this is a great time to be shopping, although you only have hours left since the deals end at midnight.

One that just caught my eye, in particular, is from the charging giant Anker, which has applied a really hefty price cut to basically its biggest portable power bank – the aptly-named Anker Laptop Power Bank.

I now basically don't leave the house without a power bank on hand, since my iPhone 15 Pro no longer lasts the day if I have to do any navigation at all, and Anker is my brand of choice. After all, it seems to have the magic touch when it comes to making power banks that pack in more charge than rivals despite smaller designs.

That's very much the case with this one – it's 25,000mAh in capacity, so there's pretending it's tiny. However, it is roughly the size and shape of some powerbanks with thousands fewer mAh to offer, and has some great tricks up its sleeve. The integrated USB-C cable, for instance, ensures that you're never caught cold without a cable.

Another great addition is the little display, which gives you some simple charging information and keeps you abreast of exactly how much charge it has left – both really handy options.

All in all, this is a stellar power bank that looks like a way better deal than usual thanks to this $45 off; grab it while you can, since it won't last much longer.

I've been reviewing a lot of the best TVs lately, many of which look spectacular, but which lack the kind of sound quality to really enhance your viewing experience. And we all want front-row Taylor Swift tickets, right? But they don't half cost a pretty penny...

It's called the Fire TV Soundbar Plus and, while it might not be as exciting as front row Taylor tickets, it is likely to be a bit cheaper – and it'll certainly last longer than pop's princess (much as the memories live on).

Right now the Fire TV Soundbar Plus just dropped to its lowest-ever price, making it a bit of a bargain as part of Amazon's October Prime Day sale – or Big Deal Days as it's officially called. That's less than the circa-£180 for those concert tickets.

Everyone loves a bargain, of course, but the key thing with this Amazon soundbar is that it does a decent job in upgrading your TV's sound. It's not a ear-bashing concert-level upgrade, mind, as that'd cost four or fives times the price in the soundbar world. But it is a great balance of features for the asking price.

As written in my review of the Fire TV Soundbar Plus: "A great option for budget-conscious buyers looking to improve TV audio. It may lack the immersion that more sophisticated Dolby Atmos soundbars offer, but it does provide a wide and engaging soundstage with clear dialogue."

It does decode Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats, which give an enhanced sense of height and width, so the experience compared to not having this soundbar is night and day.

With a discount this strong, I think it's a savvy purchase. Unless, of course, you reserve it all for Taylor's 2026 tour. I wouldn't blame you.

If you're on the hunt for one of the best TVs, then the commencement of Amazon's 'October Prime Day' (follow our live blog here for the top buys) – officially called 'Big Deal Days' – has been offering some great deals (here are my Best 3 Picks).

The sale officially runs until the end of today, Wednesday 8th October, with Amazon's own hardware getting the best price reductions. The one that's made me want to stop everything, though, is this top-end Amazon Mini-LED TV.

It's no surprise to see this Omni QLED set dropping to its lowest-ever price – and in a variety of other sizes, if that's your jam – as at Amazon's 2025 hardware reveal event just last week, the retailer announced new replacement models. But that's why buying into the last-gen will grab you a great bargain.

I've verified that this 4K Omni TV has never cost less using third-party tracking site CamelCamelCamel, which confirms the 31% discount sees it at its lowest-ever price.

The previous best deal was a 21% reduction, taking the 65-inch model to £899 – but it's now a further 10% cheaper, at just £789. Other sizes are available on discount, too, so if you want 55-inch or smaller set then there are options:

• Amazon 55-inch Omni QLED: was £849.99, now £609.99
• Amazon 75-inch Omni QLED: was £1599.99, now £999.99

As said in our Amazon Fire TV Omni Mini-LED TV review, the set is a "big step forward," for the range, entirely thanks to the deployment of Mini-LED technology.

There are some minor letdowns, however, as only two of the four HDMI ports offer the 2.1 standard for 4K/120Hz high frame rate support. You'll want to add one of the best soundbars, too, as the sound isn't brilliant – but that's common for TVs these days.

I don't expect Amazon to create further price drops for this TV range, nor for the even newer models to receive discounts, which is why this 'October Prime Day' (that's what everyone's calling it!) deal is as good as it gets. One to not sleep on if you're in the market for a new and relatively affordable panel.

It's all go at Amazon, with the retailer's 'October Prime Day' – well, it's called Big Deal Days officially – having now kicked off, running until the end of today, 8th October. One of its best deals is already out there – this rare Kindle price drop.

This is one of the big-ticket items, as Amazon uses its sale to promote its own hardware, offering the company's first-ever colour Kindle for a massive price reduction. Indeed, it's never been cheaper – and it's the one I'd buy.

Not only that, if you're an avid reader (and Amazon Prime member, but of course) then there's also a Kindle Unlimited promotion – making the reading service free for 3 months. That's well worth investigating with your new Kindle purchase, too.

The Kindle Colorsoft is everything I want – well, except for one thing – and it reviewed well by my T3 colleague, too. That's because it delivers classic Kindle, just with a touch of colour.

We called it "a very impressive first draft [that brings] a whole new suite of options to the table for Amazon's e-reader."

If colour is not your thing, however, then the Paperwhite will probably still be the more sensible (and more affordable) choice for most people. It's monochrome, but it's marvellous.

Take a look at T3's best Kindle e-readers feature to see which Kindle might suit your needs best. But if colour speaks to you, as it does to me, then the Colorsoft is the choice option.

It's been Kindle season lately – with lots of new models just announced just last week at Amazon's 2025 hardware event. That includes a new Scribe Colorsoft, which looks amazing – but you'll barely believe the price.

So keep an eye on Amazon's 'October Prime Day'– which T3 is live-blogging – as there'll be promotions aplenty. The Colorsoft and free Unlimited subscription is a great place to start though!

I've tested quite a lot of Kindle models over the years, but if I'm asked which one stands out the most in recent memory there's only really one answer – the Kindle Colorsoft. After all, it was the first Kindle to bring a colour display to the table, and could therefore end up being the device to revolutionise the whole lineup.

You may have spotted that Amazon's currently running its big autumnal sale – the Prime Big Deal Days event, and that means discounts on almost all of its own first-party tech. The Colorsoft is right in the mix, too, and its discount is pretty darn impressive.

The Colorsoft's main differentiating feature is the addition of pastel-y colours, which unlocks a huge range of new reading experiences. The obvious biggest category is comics and graphic novels, but it's also great for novels with colour illustrations, cookbooks, travel books and much more.

You can find out whether I think it's the best Kindle overall by reading our guide, but there's no doubt that it's a huge step for Amazon. We're already seeing the colour display come to more Kindle models, too, and it's not that big of a leap to imagine that all Kindles will eventually be in full colour.

The best part, though, is that you don't need to use the colour screen all the time. When you're just reading a regular novel, you still get the same great reading experience you would expect, and while the newest Paperwhite is a tiny bit sharper at times, the majority of people wouldn't be able to notice the difference unless prompted.

So, this looks like a great opportunity to save £70 and get yourself a Kindle unlike any other – and ideal deal for voracious readers.

There are a few rules in life, but I'm going to skip past them all and just hit up the most relevant one here: gaming laptops are always more expensive than you think. If you want the latest specs, the biggest display and the best performance, you're simply going to have to fork out plenty of cash.

Thanks to Amazon's ongoing (nearly over) Prime Big Deal Days sale, though, one of the most powerful machines I've ever tested is the subject of a simply massive discount, making it almost certainly the chunkiest laptop deal of the whole sale, both in terms of savings and screen size.

The Stealth A18 AI+ is a beast of a laptop, closely related to the version I reviewed earlier this year, and it hides a super-powerful GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU for the sort of graphical capabilities that will make mincemeat of even graphically demanding games (and I should know – I played Oblivion Remastered on it for hours).

It's not just the GPU propping things up, though, and the real explanation for the laptop's super-high starting price comes in its wider specs. Fresh from their launch a couple of months ago, Nothing has just made the first big discount on its flagship noise-cancelling Headphone (1). As part of Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale, you can grab the headphones for a welcome 25% off, which isn't to be sniffed at one bit.

Being a tech reviewer has a lot of upsides, but there are two sides to getting your hands on brand new devices to review, sometimes before they're even publicly announced. When your review comes out, it can be nerve-wracking to see what other experts thought, to find out if you're an outlier or not.

In my case, the Headphone (1) is a perfect example. I really, really enjoyed my time testing these cans, with their pricing at £299 seeming clever to me. It undercut the likes of Sony's WH-1000XM6 by a good chunk, with some unique features and, crucially, the best on-headphones controls I've used in ages.

The other big factor for me is that these headphones look like nothing else on the market, at a time when more and more competitors are making their designs more generic and subtle. So, I gave the Nothing Headphone (1) a glowing five-star review, and was a little surprised to see a slightly harsher reaction from many of my peers.

The good news is that I stand by my verdict, and I think they're a great option for anyone who loves to stand out a little and wear headphones that look interesting as well as sound great. So, given they're still a pretty fresh launch, getting 25% off is a bit of a steal, and I'd heartily recommend you jump on this deal while it lasts!

I've tested a lot of headsets in my time – and I mean a lot – but for absolutely ages I've recommended one over all the other: the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, which I've named the best gaming headset on the market. The Arctis Nova Pro Wireless has superb sound quality as its foundation, but what really made it my daily choice for years was the combination of comfort and its battery system. The headset has a control hub that constantly houses a spare battery on charge; when your headset is running low, you just remove a magnetic panel, swap the batteries and carry on.

That means essentially endless battery life while you're gaming, and ensures the headset just feels amazing to use day in, day out. Still, it's technically been surpassed in the last couple of weeks by the Arctis Nova Elite, SteelSeries' most expensive headset ever, and probably the best I've ever tested.

I've found the Nova Elite unbelievably impressive to test and use, and its sound is unrivalled – but it comes in at a huge £600, comfortably more than twice the price of this Arctis Nova Pro Wireless deal. In light of that pricing gulf, there's no doubt in my mind that the overwhelming majority of people should opt for the older model, which is still brilliant on every level.

So, while this deal has gone live slightly ahead of Amazons' sales event technically starting, I'd grab it while you can – you won't find a better headset discounted this week, that's for sure.

I've tested a lot of Bluetooth speakers in my time – from chunky bookshelf-friendly options to rugged portable choices that can take a beating. Many of these are still in my cupboard, which means that despite their quality, they've not necessarily become part of my actual daily life.

The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4, though, stands out because it's still out on my counter, waiting to be used by me or my girlfriend at any time – we've both found it a brilliant, reliable little speaker. If you're an Amazon Prime member, then I'm sure you'll have received the notifications from the app about its October 'Prime Day' event taking place right now. Well, other retailers have noticed – and are putting out even better deals to lure you away.

One such promotion is from Argos, as part of its 'Big Red' promotion. Now, I know people love a cheap tablet deal. And while the 11-inch iPad is on sale as part of Amazon's sales, it's this super-cheap Amazon tablet that will appeal to bargain-hunters seeking a new slate.

Indeed, this Lenovo tablet is less than half that of the Apple equivalent, so could prove the perfect option if you're not fixed to Apple's ecosystem. It might simply be that you want a budget Android tablet to give to your kids.

Of course, being this is a Lenovo tablet, it doesn't run Apple's iPadOS operating system. Instead it's Android, more or less the same as what you'll get in the best Android phones – think Samsung, Google, and so on – which is an adept system too.

You can use the Lenovo Idea Tab 11 to run Android games, productivity apps, browse the web, load up your favourite streaming services, and interact through touch – or even by using the included stylus pen. That's another bonus: as you needn't pay Apple Pencil prices for the pleasure.

In terms of specification, while the Tab 11 isn't superpowered, it's got some appealing points: the 2.5K resolution screen being one (that's 2560x1600 pixels), the 7,000mAh battery being another – ensuring decent battery life per charge. That's close to iPad levels in both regards, making this a budget competitor for around half the price!

One of the biggest and best I've found this time out is a gaming laptop from HP that I tested only a matter of weeks ago and found really impressive.

The HP Omen Max 16 is a superb workhorse of a laptop in its more affordable configurations, but for this sale, we're looking at a far fancier build. It houses an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 for the sort of performance that many desktop PCs couldn't manage, and right now you can save more than £400 on its face value.

Gaming laptops can be complicated to test and judge, with a lot coming down to their performance – but it's always worth considering their design, too. The HP Omen Max 16 is a mark of real progress from HP, when you compare it to designs from around half a decade ago; it's more mature and subtle, while still having the features you want (like a properly backlit RGB keyboard).

Of course, that's not to pretend that specs aren't king in this area. The 5080 laptop GPU that you'll be calling on here should get you excellent performance from even demanding games – whether that's the somewhat unoptimized Oblivion Remastered or something far more well-tuned like Battlefield 6, which is on the cusp of release.

So, if you've been on the lookout for a new gaming laptop with a 50-series card and you've got quite a chunky budget to spend, this could be a top opportunity. That said, you don't have long to jump on it.

I remember the elbows-out absolute chaos at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked back in January, when the brand showed off the S25 Edge for the first time. It was one of those rare "what the?" moments.

That's because it's the most exciting Samsung phone of the year and, in my view, just the most exciting phone to launch this year overall. It beat Apple's less exciting iPhone Air launch to the punch, too.

Now the super-slim Galaxy handset has dropped to a 5-star low price point – and it's never been cheaper. Not by a little either, but by a whole lot. That's thanks to Amazon's October Prime Day sale, where the reduction in the USA is particularly appealing.

When I reviewed the Galaxy S25 Edge, I called the phone "a vision of the future". I really do think it sets the beginnings of what we can expect in the future.

Its compromise, of course, is that the battery longevity isn't as complete as some other phones, while its camera suite is less thorough than other Galaxy S25 handsets – and, given the best Android phones are accustomed to considerable setups, that's a big point to contemplate in your purchase.

Having moved from my favourite phone of the year, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the Edge by comparison felt like a wafer. Not one that you'd break like a KitKat, though, as this sturdy chassis has a premium look and feel about it.

That the price has dropped so dramatically is only good news for customers, though. You can experience a slice of the future for far less than the original price – and only a number of months after it launched. That may be a sign of its sales figures wavering, but take advantage whilst you can in this Amazon deal!

If you ask TV reviewers what TV they think is most bizarre in terms of its features compared to its price, I'd wager many of them would come up with the same answer: Samsung's The Frame lineup. These TVs are far from the best value on the market, but they stake their entire reputation on one thing: looking superb when you're not actually using them.

Now, thanks to a chunky deal in Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale, you can get a 55-inch The Frame TV from the 2024 lineup for far, far less than usual – a huge $700 saving that all of a sudden makes it look like a way more sensible investment than before.

The key to what makes The Frame so great is that it has a brilliant anti-reflective coating on its display, alongside a huge library of real-life artworks in high-definition that it can rotate through. This makes it basically the screensaver to end all screensavers, and ensures that you avoid the problem of having a huge black panel ruining your feng shui when you're not using it.

For $1500, I frankly wouldn't recommend almost anyone to buy this TV, but at nearly half its full price it's an extremely solid option, and for those who want their TV to blend into the background there really aren't many other choices to make. I'd recommend you head out and find some reviews to check out to make your mind up, but don't wait too long.

After all, Amazon's sale only lasts until the end of tomorrow, 8 October, so this is something of a flash in the pan – blink and you'll miss it!

The world of tech is almost impossibly huge, and that can mean two things – a lot of products that are fairly similar to each other, and the occasional product that stands out massively. The LG StandByMe 2 is one of the latter category, which makes it all the more surprising that it's got a hefty discount as part of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days.

This portable 27-inch touch-screen monitor is sort of unlike anything else on the market, and it has a pretty huge price tag as a result. Right now, though, you can grab it at 31% off, which is the sort of deal that doesn't come around very often at all.

The StandByMe 2 improves on older versions massively, not least in the form of a huge four-hour battery life to make it far more useful for watching movies or bingeing shows without running out of juice. It doesn't take long to make you think of all the ways you could use a bright, sharp screen like this when you're not tethered to any power source.

It has Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Filmmaker Mode to make sure that your content looks superb on its 1440p display, although a 60Hz limit means this might not be the choice for frame rate hawks and gamers.

Being fully touch-screen, though, means there are just countless ways to use the display, whether you basically just treat it like a big iPad or more like a portable TV. It's such an interesting idea, and this deal makes it way more likely to attract people with slightly more reasonable budgets. If that's you, grab it before the end of 8 October, when the deal will probably expire.

VR can be a challenging bit of tech to get into – no matter how much you enjoy using a headset at a friend's house or as part of a live experience, if you want to do so in your own home, the buy-in price is pretty steep. Meta lowered that bar with the Quest 3S almost exactly a year ago, though, making its most affordable headset in the current lineup.

Now, despite only being a year old, the headset has just hit its lowest price ever on Amazon UK, thanks to the ongoing Prime Big Deal Days sale, which is bringing out cracking deals across most tech categories.

I tested the Quest 3S earlier this year and was thoroughly impressed, as I made clear with the five-star verdict I wrote up. The headset threads a needle by feeling premium in all of the most important ways, while cutting very acceptable corners compared to the significantly pricier Quest 3.

While it might not have quite as much power under the hood, and some of its display technology isn't as advanced as its older sibling, the Quest 3S is far better priced, and this deal only underlines that gulf. Plus, those who haven't used VR headsets much will really struggle to spot any of its relative shortcomings, making it a pretty great investment for families.

Meta continues to have the best ecosystem for VR use out there, too, and the fact that you can also hook up the Quest 3S to a gaming PC if you want to enjoy higher-fidelity experiences means it's super adaptable. Hands-free play is its speciality, while you'll also be able to leave its controllers unused a lot of the time thanks to really impressive hand-tracking.

So, this is one heck of an opportunity to become a VR-head for much less than usual – and it'll only last about 36 more hours given that Amazon's sale isn't endless.

If you've never sampled the joy of a good mesh Wi-Fi system, you might not really get the hype, but anyone with a flaky or unreliable home network at least knows the pain of bad Wi-Fi. Those looking to upgrade are in for a treat thanks to Amazon Prime Big Deal Days.

The sale has seen NetGear reduce the price on what was already its most accessible Orbi Wi-Fi 7 mesh system – the Orbi 370, which we reviewed just this week. It's a genuinely excellent offer given how new the system is, and it definitely isn't one to be missed.

Netgear is one of the biggest names in the game when it comes to home Wi-Fi solutions – for a long time, people relied on its pretty solid extenders to simply buff up their existing home network. That's nothing compared to a proper mesh system, though, which creates a new network for all your devices to connect to, and can be arranged to be far more stable and solid throughout your home.

With repeaters that bounce your signal around to create total coverage, all you have to do is buy the pack that corresponds to how big your home is, and figure out the best places for your router points to go. Setup is super easy thanks to Netgear's app, and once you reconnect your devices you'll be off to the races.

There are so many reasons to upgrade to a mesh system like the Orbi 370, too, including more stable Wi-Fi for online gaming, more reliable coverage for download speeds in odd corners, and even some great digital security tools that come with the system.

This deal is surprising, to say the least, since it's such a recent launch, and it looks like a brilliantly affordable way to make your home network better.

We're bang in the middle of Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale right now, an autumnal event that's brought some surprisingly impressive discounts with it, and I've been scouring through the gaming laptop deals available – and I just found the very best one.

Acer has slashed a welcome £400 off one of the newest versions of its Nitro 16 gaming laptop – and it's one that houses a super-powerful Nvidia GeForce RXT 5070 Ti, making this a supremely capable machine. I'm actually incredibly surprised that you can get it for just £1399.99 right now.

I've tested quite a few gaming laptops this year, including a host that have housed Nvidia's latest generation of laptop graphics cards, the 50 series – and I've got hands-on experience with the 5070 Ti specifically. Still, it's actually something of a surprise to me that the Nitro 16 isn't one of those I've used.

So, that means I can't necessarily vouch for exactly what it feels like in your hands, or how its design looks in person. Still, so much of what makes a laptop a good investment is more about specs, and Acer has done a tremendous job here, with a very capable AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD for all your storage needs.

Plus, the display goes up to 180Hz, meaning you can enjoy a high refresh rate to match your high frame rates, getting smooth gameplay for days. It's a great package, and that price cut means it's actually something of a steal – make sure you grab it before it either runs out of stock or disappears when Amazon's event ends at the end of 8 October.

I spend an inordinate amount of time wearing headphones. One, because I love music. Two, because I hate being distracted – and active noise-cancelling is my best friend. Three, because I'm blessed that it's part of my job to test the best headphones.

So far 2025 has presented us with lots of exciting new entries in this category. Which is all well and good – but the latest over-ears can cost a small fortune. Which is why I'm rounding up the current best, with a lens on discount and value.

It's currently the Amazon Prime October sale, which has brought some benefits for price cuts. So in this round-up of my top three picks, I've considered generation-old entries that are still exceptional – but with further price reductions than usual.

So, which to pick? It's a question of budget versus newness, to some extent. And, of course, whether you want over-ears or in-ears by preference.

The Px7 S3 remain my go-to headphones right now, despite possessing all the others listed above and plenty more besides.

So I should highlight a bunch of other options to consider too. If you want in-ears then best quality comes from the Technics AZ-100. If you want budget, however, then Nothing's Ear (2) are hard to beat.

For over-ears, with specific attention to active noise-cancelling, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are, in my view, preferable to the Sony WH option – but they cost a little more. I'd skip the new 2nd Gen model for the better originals too.

If you're an Apple user, then the AirPods Max are undeniably brilliant – but undeniably expensive. You'll find better deals on the AirPods 4 or AirPods Pro right now. All of which are also good options.

I've flown well over a million miles in the past decade and, as I've got more in sync with my air travel needs, there's one product that I won't leave home without when it comes to long-haul flying.

The AirFly SE is a nifty little gadget. It's a Bluetooth transmitter that you plug into in-flight entertainment systems so you can: 1. use your own headphones to listen; 2. benefit from wireless connectivity and, if you have it, active noise-cancelling too.

It's an inexpensive way to do this, the 'SE' being the base model in the range, but now Twelve South's entry product has dropped to its lowest-ever price as part of Amazon's 'October Prime Day' sale, or Big Deal Days as it's officially called.

It might seem like a small benefit, but it's the small things that matter when in the air for many hours. The number of poor-quality headphones I used to try, as provided by airlines, was something I quickly realised lowered the experience.

If you're looking for something a little more, then Twelve South also makes higher-end versions: the AirFly Pro 2, for example, has a more recent Bluetooth version (5.2), which means multi-point connectivity is available – i.e. you can pair two headphones to the device.

That's really handy if, say, you've got a tablet with a 3.5mm headphones jack – as you can plug the AirFly Pro 2 in, then connect two pairs of headphones, so two people can watch at once. The difficulty, of course, is that so many tablets lack such ports – so think carefully.

One other trick worth considering – especially if you know your airline well and know the dual or tri combination audio ports – is the AirFly Pro 2 Deluxe, which comes with a stereo adapter, ensuring it'll fit into the left/right mono separates for best possible sound.

Amazon recently announced a new free perk for Prime members that will effectively give you access to a big library of top-class games, without needing a games console or PC.

Amazon Luna will relaunch in the next couple of months and it'll give all Prime members more than 50 free games to stream through the cloud. However, you'll need a compatible streaming device (or Smart TV) and a Bluetooth controller – but thanks to Amazon's own Prime Big Deal Days sale this week, that needn't cost you the Earth.

In fact, you can play games of the calibre of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Hogwarts Legacy for less than £50, with an Amazon Luna bundle available at half price right now.

It gives you the exclusive Amazon Luna controller and an Amazon Fire TV Stick HD, which will stream the games to any TV of your choice. And all for just £49.98 – the controller itself usually costs more than that.

What is Amazon Luna?

Luna is Amazon's own cloud gaming service, which allows you to play games without having to store them locally. The controller movements you make are sent over the internet to Amazon's own servers, while video of the game is sent back to your TV in return (via the Fire TV Stick in this case).

Latency is so low these days that it's very close to running the game on dedicated hardware – except you don't need a console or PC.

Any Bluetooth controller can be used to play games via Amazon Luna, although the dedicated version cuts down on latency further as, instead of connecting to the Fire TV Stick, it connects directly to the internet over Wi-Fi. That way it cuts out part of the process, helping to make actions feel more responsive.

But at the Luna controller also comes with Bluetooth support, you can use it with other devices too, such as mobile phones and tablets.

It usually costs £59.99 on its own, so this bundle deal is a real bargain. Alternatively, you can get the controller with a Fire TV Stick 4K for just £6 more. This ups the image quality of streaming (movies, etc) to 4K HDR and also enables access to Xbox Cloud Gaming through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. That way you can increase the game count by 100s.

You can also buy the Amazon Luna controller with a big discount separately, if you already own a supported device.

As the summer months begin to come to a close – there's been rain, storms, the lot – I've found myself indoors more than not for Zwift sessions in the evenings and at weekends.

Indoor cycling is fun – especially on my Wahoo Kickr Bike – but I can't help and listen to music to add some energy and tempo to my sessions and workouts. And it's been JBL's Charge 6 speaker that's been delivering those honours for some months now.

Fortune would also have it that the speaker is now on sale at Amazon, at its lowest-ever price, in a time-limited deal. Once these are gone, they're gone for good – so if you're on the hunt for one of the best Bluetooth speakers, then get to it!

This is all part and parcel of Amazon's 'October Prime Day' (follow T3's live blog here) – which, officially, is called 'Big Deal Days' – where you'll find a bunch of great deals on everything from smart home to fitness to tech products.

The JBL really jumped out to me when scouring through the sales, though, as I use it on a weekly basis. While it mostly lives in my garage, where my Zwift setup is based, this rugged speaker can do plenty more too.

It's got an IP68 rating, for starters, meaning its dust/sand-resistant and can also withstand water ingress. So you could use it on a beach, by the pool, even in the pool if you wanted. It's got a carry strap to make it easy to cart about too.

One of the greatest things about this speaker, however, is that it delivers some chunky bass. Those two ports at the end are where it can emanate this low-end, despite the product size being moderate rather than huge.

While my favourite Bluetooth speaker goes to the fancier Bang & Olufsen offering, that's a smaller, more pristine, and, frankly, much pricier offering. For the getting down and dirty brigade, however, it's the JBL Charge 6 that I can thoroughly recommend.

Just ahead of Amazon's 'October Prime Day' (follow our live coverage here) – officially known as Big Deal Days – there are already plenty of good offers out there.

But there's one that's hard to ignore from Amazon's own hardware stable. This Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet deal is down to almost half price, making it way cheaper than my other go-to – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE.

Indeed, much as I've tested tablets for a living and would go for the Galaxy, this deal is good enough for me to pretty much forget about Samsung's offering – especially if you're seeking a slate for all the family.

I've been reviewing the best tablets for years, and Amazon's offering is "a stellar starter tablet" – as said in T3's review of the Max 11. It's the kind of slate that the whole family could use, popped on top of the table for browsing, streaming, and a bit of light gaming.

However, you need to understand what Amazon's tablet can do and can't do. As it runs on FireOS – which is a fork of Google's Android operating system – it's altogether 'simpler'. This means there's no Google Play Store, so you don't get access to a full suite of downloads, but that's exactly why I think it's the perfect locked-down starter tablet.

If you want an altogether more personal tablet with more apps and games then, of course, my headline here would be quite the opposite – definitely go and look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE. This offers full Google Play services.

Still, different products for different means – and this Amazon one certainly earns its place, especially at such a low price point ahead of the October Prime sale. Do note that its slashed price ends on 14th October, so you've got a short window to decide on whether it's the right purchase for you.

If you're trying to get a handle on what the best tablets on the market are, it's pretty likely that you're realising how many of them are really pricy. After all, you generally get what you pay for in tech, and tablets from the likes of Apple and Samsung tend to underline this with premium pricing.

Amazon, however, has long bucked this trend with its Fire HD tablets, which tend to offer unbelievable value for your money – and that's even more the case when they're on sale. Right now, for instance, as an early deal for Amazon Prime Big Deal Days this year, you can grab the Fire HD 10 tablet at less than half its usual price.

This iteration of the Fire HD 10 has been out for quite a while now, which makes this discount less of a surprise, but that doesn't mean it feels particularly long in the tooth. While it doesn't really have the power to manage modern gaming, if you're looking for a tablet that excels at light web browsing and can stream your favourite shows and movies easily, this is a perfect choice.

It has a nice, bright display and is impressively thin. Plus, because it's aimed at a less expensive slice of the market, the Fire HD 10 dispenses with metal and glass to instead use plastic for most of its construction, making it extremely lightweight and portable relative to some heavier alternatives.

If you're in the market for a simple tablet, then, this looks like a steal – and I'd expect the price to last for a couple of days, until Amazon's event ends.

If you're planning on maintaining or improving your daily step count, you'll need a decent pair of walking shoes, and I have the perfect Prime Day deal for that.

Merrell's Moab Speed 2 is a brilliant low-cut walking shoe that looks and feels good both on and off the trail. We liked it so much that we gave an award at the recent T3 Awards 2025. As a Prime Day veteran, I've seen many deals, some better than others. This year's sale isn't actually half bad; we've seen some excellent offers on the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Garmin Fenix 8. On top of these, a lot more affordable wearables from Apple and Amazfit have been discounted, which is excellent news for smartwatch fans.

Today's the last official day of Prime Days, meaning that some of the below deals might not be available tomorrow. Of course, it's fully possible they will be available, but maybe not quite as cheap as they are now. Either way, if you're looking for a new watch, today is the best day to shop, just in case.

It's worth noting that the majority of the offers below are in the Prime Day Sale at Amazon, so you will need a Prime Membership to unlock the lowest prices. If you haven't had one recently, Amazon will likely offer you one for free for a week or a month.

Otherwise, the price of the membership is well below the savings you'll make on just a single watch, let alone if you buy for yourself and your loved ones, too. For example, the Amazfit Active is an excellent choice for your young adults and teenagers, while dad can invest in a Fenix 8 for himself.

If you prefer to wear watches you won't see on other people's wrists, I'd recommend the Huawei Watch Ultimate. It's one of the most posh-looking wearables that costs way less than an Apple Watch Ultra or a Garmin MARQ.

I'm a big fan of Therabody and have been using the brand's products for years. As someone into their fitness, I used Theraguns a lot, but my favourite bit of Therabody kit was its JetBoots – that is, until I tried the SmartGoggles.

I first tried the Gen1 SmartGoggles in 2022 and fell in love with them immediately. Then, last year, then it was on offer during Black Friday, I bought them. Now, the company has discounted the updated Gen2 SmartGoggles, selling them for only £135 this Prime Day.

It's in the brand's Prime Day sale, which could mean that the discount today won't be there tomorrow. However, I couldn't find a date range for the sale, so the deals may stick around for longer.

That said, it's an excellent price for a product that I can personally vouch for. The SmartGoggles are the only product that can completely relax me, no matter how stressed I might be.

The combination of heat, vibration and music (via the Therabody app) does the trick every time. The 2nd Gen model is even better than the one I use and features a full blackout design and improved comfort. I wish I had waited until now instead of buying my first-gen last November!

If you want to save some money, the first-gen SmartGoggles are selling for the same price as they did on Black Friday (now £99; were £175), and I can tell you, they work like a charm. The brand's FaceMask is also on offer for £130 less. FYI.

I can write about all the deals on affordable smartwatches for Prime Day; people always want to hear about offers on well-known brands like Apple. I totally understand it: cheap watches are cheap year-round, but it's premium wearables with hefty discounts that get people excited.

There are plenty of amazing Garmin deals on Prime Day, but admittedly, even with a hefty discount, the brand's watches are pretty pricey. Many affordable alternatives exist, and one of the best is Amazfit's Active smartwatch, which, even at full price, is significantly cheaper than a Garmin.

However, it's now ultra-cheap, selling for only a smidge over £65. That's the price of a modest meal for two people! Better still, you get a battery life that outperforms the Apple Watch, built-in GPS, Bluetooth calling, a bright AMOLED screen, and Alexa voice assistant.

One of the reviews at Amazon says, "Really pleased with this watch. Nice size, and it comes with a good strap. [...] Able to connect it to Google Fit via third-party app linking, which is a plus for me. Loads of workouts to choose from. There is also lots of additional health data that I am finding really useful. I would recommend this watch."

If 300 sounds like a lot, it's because it actually is. I combed through the listings and picked only six Nike sneaker deals for those who don't have half an hour to look at shoes (like I do). I focused on Air Max and Air Force models, but there are plenty more franchises on offer in the sale (see link above).
