Prime Day has almost been and gone quicker than you could turn around, with the deals coming to an end later this evening. However, Amazon has been teasing us all day with new deals supposedly arriving at 5pm, and let's just say it's pulled through.

If you've yet to find yourself a bargain, now's the time to take a look at all the impressive deals that have popped up with just seven hours left until Prime Day ends. You might just find one after all!

If anyone asks me what the best headphones for travel are, then I'm quick to answer – Bose's QuietComfort over-ears are the lightest, most portable option with the best active noise-cancelling (ANC).

There are an abundance of options, though, with the top-tier Ultra model my favourite. But there's a slight step-down version, the 'SC', that can save you even more money – as they lack the spatial audio features and hard carry case.

Right now, as it's the last day of Amazon's October Prime Day sale, that already lower-than-flagship asking price is further reduced, down by a massive 44% – making these over-ears close to half the price.

This particular discount is for the black pair, but there's a 'White Smoke' finish for a few quid more if you prefer – I'd avoid it, personally, as I received the QC Ultra 2 model in that guise and think it looks too plasticky; the black is much classier.

I should repeat that this is part of Amazon's sale, so that price won't necessarily hold after the clock ticks over from Wednesday 7 October – so if you're in the market for quality headphones then now's the time to get that basket to checkout.

Amazon does offer an interesting 0% credit option, however, so with these you could pay £32.29 a month for five months and spread the payment – without paying a penny more than the discounted price. That'd be my way of buying these, if I was in the market for more headphones.

I'm writing this from the UK, and take it from me – you don't know how good you have it in the US. Sure, the cost of tech products is skyrocketing broadly, but the reality is that the dollar remains strong compared to the Euro and Sterling, at least when it comes to the latest tech launches. You only have to compare the UK and US prices of the iPhone Duo to underline that, after all.

If you're a fan of physical media, though, and you're based in the US, you're also winning on that front. Here in the UK, getting a 4K Blu-ray for anything less than £20 is generally a good result – that comes out to around $26, so you can see the problem here.

Just peruse the ongoing Prime Big Deal Days sale on Amazon, though, and you'll find a host of superb movies on 4K disc for far less than that – with a whole heap of them coming in at $15 or below right now. I've picked out five highlights, but you can find a whole range on Amazon yourself, too. All of these are substantially more expensive in the UK, so if you buy one, just know that I'm jealous.

While I've already highlighted a must-buy Sonos upgrade for soundbar surround sound and a bunch of decent TV deals, if you're after one of the cheapest of laptops then this Lenovo deal is a veritable bargain.

Lenovo's budget offerings have long been a success in our best budget laptops feature, with this particular model now at a lower price than I've ever seen it before – approaching the half-price marker!

It's also very timely, as mere months ago Apple announced the MacBook Neo. I'm massively impressed with that laptop, of course, which I think is ideal for students – but those wanting a Windows machine for a fraction of the price aren't going to be interested.

That's where this £399 offer comes into play. This is Lenovo's bargain basement asking price, really, and in the RAMageddon crisis of now it's rare to find any decent Windows machine at such an asking price.

As we progress into a Googlebook era, competition and consumer choice changes. But those are brand new and pricier at present – again opening the door for a classic Windows machine such as this Lenovo.

Best get a move on, though, as this Amazon sale is over and done with after 23:59 today (Wednesday 7 October), so your buying window for this Windows machine isn't very long...

Sonos only just dropped the Ace Ultra, its newest and most impressive headphones, and they're frankly phenomenal (as someone who's been using them for a couple of weeks now). The five-star verdict we gave them is ironclad, in my opinion, but there's no getting around the fact that they're jolly expensive.

Before I got my hands on the Ace Ultra, I was the proud owner of a pair of standard Ace headphones, and the reality is that I had absolutely no complaints about them. Now, in the latter stages of Amazon's two-day Prime Big Deal Days event, they're looking even better than before, thanks to a frankly massive price cut.

With the Ace Ultra debuting at £399, we always knew that the standard Ace might become one heck of a deal by comparison, as Sonos allows its price to slide in sales events, and that's proven true immediately. Nearly half price, this deal sees them hover just over the £200 mark, and for that money they're a steal.

When they arrived back in 2024, we were absolutely amazed by how comfortable they were, and they remain basically the gold standard on that front (and it's telling that the Ace Ultra changed almost nothing on that front).

Their sound is also brilliant, though, and the ANC on offer is also extremely solid. That latter feature is probably where the uplift to the Ace Ultra is steepest, as well as some new connectivity options, but those won't apply for most people, and the normal Ace are now pretty much half the price of their newer sibling.

In that light, they're clearly the more sensible purchase for the vast majority of people, and this marks a great opportunity. That said, Amazon's sale ends at the end of today (7 October), so don't be surprised if the deal disappears at that point, too.

If you're a big fan of The Lord of the Rings, and you should be, there are a couple of Lego sets that have almost certainly caught your eye over the last couple of years, with the biggest and most expensive being the Lego Icons The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell set.

Normally priced at a massive £429.99, it's the one set I've enjoyed building the most over the last few years, with a fair few other Lego sets to my name. With over 6,000 pieces, it hides countless amazing references to the Peter Jackson movies, including whole interior parts that you can't even really see from most angles.

Now, Amazon's knocked this huge Lego set down to within a couple of quid of its lowest price ever for Prime Big Deal Days. This means you can grab Lego Rivendell for just £355.99. That might still be quite a chunk of change, but it's the sort of massive reduction that very rarely rolls around for Lego sets that are this popular and exclusive.

Of course, there's no getting around the fact that this is still a really pricey kit, even at its lowest price ever. For anyone looking to pick up a Lego bargain this Black Friday without necessarily remortgaging their home, there are other options if you search for them.

In particular I'm impressed by the reduction on this Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer set, which is down from £149.99 to £126.99 and might be a more logical choice if you're looking for a gift. I've built a lot of Lego in my time, and it blew me away with the level of detail and ingenuity on show. It's also one to dedicate a good chunk of time to – the build can take a couple of dozen hours if you relax and enjoy it.

With a tactile on/off switch to add to the party and a couple more buttons for functionality, it adds up to a brilliant case study in user convenience, and I love how it shook things up.

On top of that, the sound quality you get for the price is genuinely great, and the ANC is extremely creditable, too. That all means that this deal (knocking nearly £50 off) is a hard one to pass up if you need some new headphones. These ones have a design that will make you stand out from the crowd, and some features that'll make you glad to have grabbed them.

The Peanuts x Timex Expedition Acadia is down to £56.99 on Amazon, a 19% saving on an already affordable field watch. Although it isn't quite the lowest price we've ever seen, it's a lovely little watch for comfortably under £60.

The star of the show is obviously Snoopy. The dial depicts him dressed as a Beagle Scout alongside Woodstock, giving an otherwise fairly traditional Expedition field watch a playful Peanuts twist.

Make no mistake: this is a proper Timex Expedition watch with a 40mm black resin case, an acrylic crystal and a black fabric strap with a simple hook-and-loop closure.

The white dial is highly legible, with large Arabic numerals accompanied by a smaller 24-hour scale. There's also a date window at three o'clock and luminous hands for checking the time after dark.

And because it's a Timex, you get INDIGLO, the brand's electroluminescent backlight that illuminates the dial at the press of the crown.

Perhaps most surprisingly for such an inexpensive and playful watch, it's also rated for 100 metres of water resistance. That makes it far more useful for outdoor adventures than its Snoopy artwork might initially suggest.

Amazon's £56.99 price isn't an unprecedented low, but it's still a decent reduction against the £70 RRP. More importantly, it's a genuinely fun field watch for less than £60, and I'd take Snoopy and Woodstock over another anonymous black dial any day.

Amazon's Prime Day sale is in full swing, but you don't necessarily need to shop at Amazon to find some of today's best deals.

Argos has just dropped the Apple Watch Series 11 42mm GPS to £219, down from £319. That's a substantial £100 saving, and it makes the previous-generation Apple Watch considerably cheaper than its successor.

The offer includes the 42mm Jet Black aluminium model with a Black Sport Band, and Argos currently lists four colour options for the Series 11.

Having recently tested the newer Series 12, I think £219 makes its predecessor extremely easy to recommend. The Series 12 might be the latest and greatest, but the Series 11 still delivers the core Apple Watch experience and most of the features people actually use every day.

The Series 11 has almost identical health tools, including ECG, blood oxygen readings, sleep tracking, sleep score, irregular heart rhythm alerts and hypertension notifications, plus Apple's Vitals app for keeping tabs on overnight metrics.

It's similarly well-equipped for exercise, too, with GPS tracking for running, cycling, swimming and hiking. You also get Heart Rate Zones, training load, Pacer and Apple's Workout Buddy features when paired with a compatible iPhone.

Battery life is rated at up to 24 hours, and the 42mm version weighs just 30.3g. There's also an Always-On Retina LTPO3 OLED display, 64GB of storage and the same tight integration with the iPhone that remains one of the biggest reasons to choose an Apple Watch in the first place.

Owners seem pretty happy with it, too. The Series 11 currently has an impressive 4.9 out of five from 541 Argos reviews, with 97% of customers recommending it.

If you've been waiting for Amazon's Prime Day sale to finally build out that home gym, one of NordicTrack's most accessible treadmills just got considerably more tempting.

The NordicTrack T Series 5 is down to £499 at Amazon, compared with the £599 RRP shown on the retailer's listing. That's a £100 saving on a fully fledged treadmill from one of the biggest names in connected home fitness.

It's not quite an unprecedented price for the machine, but £499 is right at the bottom end of what Amazon has charged over the past year. Most recently, it had climbed back to around £600, making the Prime-exclusive offer well worth considering.

It's proving popular with owners, too, with Amazon reviewers describing it as a "solid, high-quality treadmill", while another said, "Love it!" One buyer simply remarked, "Wow, this exceeded my expectations."

The T Series 5 sits towards the affordable end of NordicTrack's current treadmill range, but it's a considerable step up from the basic walking pads that dominate the cheaper end of Amazon.

There's a 140 x 46cm cushioned running surface, and the treadmill tops out at 16km/h (10mph). That's fast enough for everything from walking and easy jogging to reasonably brisk running sessions. The deck uses cushioning designed to reduce impact.

You also get powered incline up to 10%, which adds some much-needed variety if endless flat treadmill miles aren't your idea of fun. A small LCD shows your essential workout metrics, and there's a device shelf for your phone or tablet.

Connect your device via Bluetooth to use iFIT, which offers thousands of trainer-led workouts (subscription required). Compatible workouts can automatically control the treadmill's speed and incline, which is nice at this price point.

At £499 for Prime members, it's a particularly attractive option for anyone looking to keep their running going as the weather deteriorates over autumn and winter.

Shopping for a gaming laptop is a complicated process in 2026, largely because the memory crisis has spiked prices something fierce. Laptop makers that used to be able to churn out reliably wallet-friendly machines are increasingly being forced to raise their prices.

Still, that doesn't mean it's impossible to find a deal at any cost – you just need to be a little more patient and wait for the right opportunity. I'd say Amazon's latest Prime Big Deal Days event is a great example, since it's brought a surprising number of chunky laptop deals to the table.

Of course, you'll need to be a Prime member to take advantage of this one, which also has a limited number of units before the price disappears, but if you tick that box and want a new gaming laptop with oodles of power, MSI's here for you.

Getting an Nvidia RTX 5080 is a great start for any gaming laptop, but that alone doesn't explain the normally lofty RRP of this Stealth machine from MSI – although the other components really do help. For one thing, you get 2TB of storage at a time when this sort of memory is at a crazy premium (and 32GB of RAM will help, too).

Crucially, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor that powers the system is a beast, and means that you won't be CPU throttled while gaming, something that can threaten the performance of lower-specced laptops commonly enough.

The really great thing, in my view, is that this is a laptop that doesn't scream out its gamer credentials. MSI has taken great strides in design terms in the last couple of years, and while the 2026 revision of this model is even sleeker, this 2025 version is still plenty lovely to look at, even for a 16-incher.

Things are rounded out by a 2560x1600, 240Hz display panel that should be ideal for competitive gaming or immersive single-player fare alike. It's one heck of a package, and £800 off is absolutely nothing to sniff at. If you're on the lookout for a sleek new gaming laptop with basically no power compromises, you might not see much better than this.

It's increasingly becoming commonly accepted that the best time to buy a gaming laptop will always be "last year" from now on. The still-surging prices in the memory component market mean that laptops are now about as expensive as they've ever been, and no model is guaranteed to stay the same price for long.

This means that when you do want a new gaming machine, it's more important than ever that you look out for good sales events to help you get a cut price. Frankly, I think there's a case to be made that these are now the only times when it makes sense to make a major tech purchase.

While the deal I'm showcasing here isn't technically part of Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days event, I think it's likely prompted by that event, and either way it gets you a big chunk off a really capable 16-inch Acer gaming laptop, making it one to pay attention to.

Getting a laptop with the latest generation of Nvidia cards (a generation that looks set to last a good long while, given the AI industry's hunger for GPUs) is always a good idea if you can afford it. That's just future-proofing, after all. Here, the 5070 should be bankable for ages, based on how it performs with even pretty challenging games right now.

To round out the spec list, the Nitro V 16 AI has a 1TB SSD, which is good since you do occasionally see 500GB instead, even at this sort of price. Its CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 260, which is great for eking a bit more battery life out when you're not gaming on the machine (if that's a use case you can imagine).

Meanwhile, its 16-inch display comes in at 1920x1200 resolution, which means you can get really sharp if you want it, and with a refresh rate of 180 Hz you'll be able to enjoy extremely smooth gameplay.

It's a great little package, although "little" isn't really the right word, given its size – and if you're on the lookout for a gaming laptop this month, you probably won't see many steeper discounts.

There are hundreds of different coffee machines out there, but De'Longhi is a brand you can't really go wrong with. It has a great range of the best bean-to-cup machines, and without sounding too obvious, I have to admit it's one of my own favourites.

With Amazon's Big Deal Days kicking off today, I've been through the offers to round up some of the best De'Longhi deals currently available. As I mentioned in my piece on 3 affordable De'Longhi machines I'd buy over an expensive one, you don't have to spend a fortune to get a great brew, and this is a good place to start.

The sound remains surprisingly solid, though, with decent bass levels delivered – assuming you're not in a super-noisy environment anyway, as that's a limitation of this 'bud type.

You won't get any noise-cancelling or suchlike features here, as that's the opposite of an open-ear design. But you will get enhanced safety by being always aware of your surroundings – without needing to forego your playlist or podcast listening session.

That's where Prime Day has really pulled through this year. I've been going through Amazon's Big Deal Days offers and picked out 15 viral gadgets that are now a lot cheaper than before. So, if there's one that's been following you around your feed, now might finally be the time to give in.

Autumn is officially here, and with it comes my favourite cooking season! I’m talking about soups, stews, hotpots, pies, casseroles and more – and the best way to make these meals is with a trusty multi-cooker.

Multi-cookers are handy all-in-one kitchen appliances that offer multiple cooking methods – hence the name. Depending on the brand and model you choose, you can expect to find multi-cookers with pressure, slow and rice cooking, as well as steaming, searing and sauteing.

As a kitchen expert, I’ve tested many appliances, and my multi-cooker is one of my favourites to use during this time of year. To help you get on to the multi-cooker hype, here are 10 multi-cooker deals you can find right now in Amazon’s Prime Day sale, featuring Ninja, Instant Pot, Crock-Pot, Tower, Cuisinart and more.

Plenty of attention might be getting sucked up currently by an explosion of deals as part of Amazon's Big Deal Days event, but don't let that distract from the fact that it's a big week for Google in hardware terms.

Having finally unveiled its Googlebook revolution a couple of weeks ago, the laptops are now starting to actually hit store shelves, and that means launch deals, in some cases. One in particular has caught our eye, and it happens to be the most affordable laptop in the range.

The Acer Chromebook 14 comes in at £999 here in the UK, a price that means Google can tout the whole range as starting below £1,000, handily. While there's no actual discount on that price at launch, Acer is offering a free bundle to early adopters that might well make it worth ordering soon.

The deal here is slightly convoluted, though. Basically, buy your Acer Chromebook 14, get it delivered and set it up. Register the laptop with Acer on its website, and you'll be able to claim your rewards bundle, which will be shipped to you. It includes a 100W GaN fast charger, a 5-in-1 USB Type-C hub, an Acer wireless mouse, an extended 3-year warranty and 10 trees planted in your name by Ecologi.

That's a nice little heap of extras, and since Acer's Googlebook doesn't have anything other than USB-C ports, that hub could come in particularly handy.

The laptop looks like a super interesting bit of hardware, from its custom Googlebook OS to the lovely 2.8K OLED 120Hz touchscreen. I've actually been sent a review unit on loan from Acer, so keep your eyes peeled for the T3 verdict coming soon (and it won't be the only Googlebook I test over the next month).

Amazon Prime events happen throughout the year, though after the main Prime Day in June, the October event is the one to look out for. It's the precursor to the full Black Friday that every retailer gets involved in, but because of that, it's often surprising.

This two-day sale offers big discounts for a short time, so if you move fast, you can bag great deals. That's not to say everything is worth buying, though.

The challenge is finding those items that are actually deals, among the hoards of products that are merely discounted to earlier prices, or are simply old models now superseded by newer and better offerings.

For that reason, we've put together a simple list of just a few key products that we think are worth a look. So, if you are considering making a purchase, this is the place to start.

When is the next Amazon Prime Day?

The next Prime Day is right now – well, Prime Big Deal Days, to be precise. The sale starts at midnight on Tuesday October 6, and finishes at 11:59 pm (PST) on Wednesday, October 7. That means you'll be able to get record-low prices across multiple departments, especially on Amazon devices.

The last Amazon Prime Day took place from June 23 to June 26 2026. There will be further Amazon sales for Black Friday.

How to get a free Prime account for Prime Day

You might already know this (the clue's in the title), but you need to be an Amazon Prime member to shop the Prime Day sale.

However, not only do Amazon Prime members get to shop the Prime Day sale, but they also get early access to ALL Lightning Deals and extra offers on Prime benefits, like coupon offers, free Deliveroo Plus and plenty of other benefits. A Prime subscription is definitely something to consider, therefore.

If you're new to Prime, Amazon Prime is available on a 30-day free trial for all new members. If you're a student, there's even better news as Amazon offers a free six-month Amazon Prime trial on Prime Student and after that, it will only cost you £4.49 a month.

What were the best Prime Day deals last year?

Prime Day 2025 resulted in some great offers across multiple departments.

The best deals were on a range of tech, kitchen and beauty products. For example, the Samsung S90C TV was on sale with over 40% off, the Apple AirPods Max headphones were at their cheapest yet, and you could get a Philips Hue Starter Kit to begin your smart lighting journey for under £100.

Overall, Amazon devices had the biggest discounts, with Echo speakers, Blink cameras, Kindles and Fire tablets hitting record low prices. Alongside this, Ninja, Sage and Tefal kitchen appliances came with amazing offers, as did Xbox and PS5 controllers.

What brands had the best prices on Prime Day last year?

Plenty of different brands took part in the sales last year, with Sony and Bose being two of the most sought after. Speakers, earbuds and headphones were particularly popular.

Philips, Samsung and Shark all saw big price drops too, and makeup brands like Rimmel saw great sales.

Due to the cost of living crisis, we believe people use these sales to stock up on essentials for around the home - from washing-up liquid to coat hangers, teabags to cat food. Amazon delivers with incredibly low prices on these products, especially on its Vouchers page.

How much is Amazon Prime membership?

Amazon Prime membership costs £8.99 per month or £95 for a year when paid in advance. For students, the cost is £4.49 monthly and the annual subscription is £47.49.

Will Prime Day be better than Black Friday?

Prime Day is heralded as Amazon's biggest sales event of the year. However, Amazon is also well known for its Black Friday sales. Last year, Amazon started its Black Friday sale early, weeks in advance of the official sales date. Many shoppers got to take advantage of early discounts and themed weeks that Amazon ran in the lead-up to Black Friday.

Having said that, there are a couple of key differences between Prime Day and Black Friday. The most obvious is that Black Friday isn't an Amazon-only sale. Retailers from around the world take part in the annual event and slash their prices during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend. Black Friday is also available for all shoppers and not just Prime members.

As Black Friday is the more famous shopping event, you might find cheaper prices. What kind of sales has Amazon run in the past?

Looking at last year's Amazon sales is a good indication of what to expect the next time they come around, including Prime Day, Black Friday and Prime Day 2 (Prime Big Deal Days). Amazon constantly has deals available site-wide on a range of products in its 'Today's Deals' section.

At T3, we like to consider ourselves experts on big sales events so by looking at the patterns from Amazon's 2025 sales, we've come up with a few predictions for what we expect to see in 2026.

Like most retailers, Amazon sticks to seasonal holidays, so during spring it offers a wide range of products, including laptops, air fryers, headphones and lawnmowers. As Prime Day traditionally happens in July, there are deals on absolutely everything, but especially on Amazon devices, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners and premium beauty.

Amazon also typically runs themed weeks throughout the year, and specifically in the run-up to its Black Friday event. In the past, there have been Gardening Week and Fragrance Week events. All of this gives us a strong indication that these deals could make a comeback during 2026.

Yep, you've read that right. As Senior Homes Writer at T3, it's my job to test the best (and worst) robot vacuum cleaners on the market today, which means I have a pretty strong idea of which models are actually worth it when sales such as Amazon's Big Deal Days roll around.

When I say tested, that can mean anything from putting a robot vacuum through a proper review to getting hands-on with one at events such as IFA. Either way, I've seen plenty of these machines up close, so I have a good feel for which brands and models are worth your attention.

As a result, I've picked out the robot vacuums I'd personally recommend buying this Prime Day, and you'll find each of them below.

Portable power stations aren't cheap, especially once you move beyond the smaller models designed primarily for charging phones and laptops, which is why this deal on one of my favourite EcoFlow models is worth a look.

The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus has dropped to £549 at Amazon, down from its £699 RRP, saving you £150 or 21%. It's also £50 cheaper than EcoFlow's current £599 direct price. The £549 offer is a Prime-exclusive deal, so you'll need an Amazon Prime membership to get the lowest price.

I reviewed the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus for T3, and there's a lot to like about it. It's surprisingly compact given the power on offer, yet its 1,800W output means it can handle considerably more demanding appliances than smaller portable batteries.

Its 1,024 Wh LFP battery is robust, with EcoFlow claiming 4,000 cycles before falling to 80% of its original capacity. To put it in perspective, it would take nearly 11 years af chargin and draining the DELTA 3 Plus every day to get to the point!

There are 11 outputs in total, including four AC sockets and a pair of powerful 140W USB-C ports, so there's plenty of capacity to power several devices simultaneously.

Hook the power station up to the mains, and EcoFlow says it'll go from empty to full in just 56 minutes. It can also accept up to 1,000W of solar input, making it a particularly capable option for off-grid use.

EcoFlow rates it at under 30dB when operating below 600W, which is particularly useful if you're keeping it indoors as a backup power source.

Braun's brand new Nevo electric shaver has just had a huge £385 price cut in Amazon's Big Deal Days sale, taking it down to £344.99 from £729.99.

Not only is that an incredibly good price for such a new product, but we've also recently reviewed the Nevo, awarding it four stars in our full review. Leon Poultney, who tested the shaver, said that aside from its bulky travel case and outdated two-pin design, the main thing that let it down was the price.

So, you can imagine what he might have thought if it had launched at £344.99 instead.

One of the Nevo's biggest features is its ability to adapt in real time to your beard's density, with its 250 diamond-sharp blades designed to provide a close shave across different hair densities. It also comes with a 7-in-1 system that automatically cleans, cares for and charges the shaver, which Braun says is 10x better than water whilst also helping to optimise blade performance and lifespan.

I don't know about you, but if you're looking for a new electric shaver, this feels like one of the best deals out there right now.

You don't need to spend £500 on a high-end Garmin to get many of the training tools that make the company's watches so popular with runners.

Case in point, the Garmin Forerunner 70 has just dropped to £168.82 at Amazon, down from its £219.99 RRP. That's a saving of just over £51, or 23%, on one of Garmin's most accessible AMOLED running watches.

More importantly, this appears to be a genuine record low. Amazon price history shows the Forerunner 70 previously bottoming out at around £177–£178 in September, before climbing back above £200. Today's deal takes another £9 or so off that previous low.

The Forerunner 70 sits towards the affordable end of the Garmin watch family tree, but that doesn't mean it's dumb. Oh no.

It's built around a 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen and includes built-in GPS, wrist-based heart rate monitoring and more than 80 activity profiles.

It'll track the fundamentals you'd expect, including pace, distance and heart rate, but it also gives runners access to considerably more sophisticated training data.

That includes Garmin Coach adaptive training plans, daily suggested workouts, recovery time and HRV Status, bringing features once associated with much more expensive sports watches within reach of newer runners.

Battery life is another major advantage over conventional smartwatches. Garmin quotes up to 13 days in smartwatch mode, so you're not committing yourself to charging it every night just because you want an AMOLED screen.

That's why the Forerunner 70 makes so much sense as a first serious running watch. It's approachable enough for someone training for their first 5K, but there's enough training data under the bonnet to remain useful as your running becomes more ambitious.

The world of VR started as one with a really high barrier to entry, in the form of £1,000+ headsets that most people couldn't afford, even before you considered the high-end gaming rigs they needed to be connected to. That's long since changed, though, and even with RAMageddon pushing tech prices into uncharted waters, it's still impressively affordable to get into VR.

That does bring one big asterisk with it, though – you have to be comfortable picking up a Meta headset, since Mark Zuckerberg's giant company is the only one maintaining mainstream headsets at approachable prices right now.

In fact, for this October's Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, you can currently get the Quest 3S, a five-star banger of an affordable headset, at a super-impressive price.

The 3S came out a while after the standard Quest 3, which remains the main offering in the Quest lineup right now, and as a result, the newer headset is positioned deliberately as a more affordable choice.

It can't quite match the internal power or resolution of the Quest 3, but if you're relatively new to VR, then I really don't think that you'll feel the difference. The 3S remains extremely capable and sharp when you're wearing it, and it's also got impressive pass-through video to keep you connected to the real world.

Buying it now will get you a free multiplayer game to enjoy when you set the headset up, but you also have a world of other titles to pick up and play when you want them. There are various social experiences to discover, too, and you might well find yourself with a new favourite time-waster.

This price will probably only last for a couple of days, though. Amazon's event ends on 7 October, so it's a real flash in the pan.

The number one smart home device that I always recommend is a video doorbell. Having a camera at your front door gives you an extra layer of security that keeps an eye on your home, while also ensuring you never miss a delivery or visitor again.

Since Amazon owns Ring, you can expect to find plenty of Ring doorbell deals in the Prime Big Deal Days sale. But if I were you, I’d go for the EZVIZ EP8 Ultra Dual-Lens Video Doorbell instead. One might even say that this doorbell is better than Ring’s, as this model has two cameras, built-in LEDs and animal characters that respond to your guests.

Amazon's Prime Day event is now officially underway, which means there are hundreds of discounts to sift through, including some tempting offers on smart home tech.

So, to save you the hassle of making your way through them all, I've rounded up some of the best smart home deals available right now, covering a mix of brands and products at different price points.

Whenever there's a big sales event going on, you can bet there will be some great discounts on Lego sets. And the larger, adult builds suddenly make even more sense considering the savings you can get.

However, while Amazon has some good offers as part of its Prime Big Deal Days sales, which are now in full force, I've actually found some additional bargains off the beaten track. These aren't listed as Prime Deals, but are equally as good, if not better.

I wasn't expecting to see a half-price deal on the Google Pixel Watch 4 quite this soon, but Amazon clearly has other ideas.

The Google Pixel Watch 4 45mm LTE is currently just £249 at Amazon UK, exactly half its £499 RRP. That means you're saving a massive £250 on Google's larger cellular smartwatch, and you don't even have to wait until Black Friday.

Better still, this isn't one of those deals where an inflated RRP makes the saving look more impressive than it really is. Looking at the Amazon price history of the smartwatch, the 45mm LTE model was generally between £350 and £500 over the past few months.

Better better still, it's the 45mm LTE Pixel Watch 4 in Matte Black with the Obsidian Active Band that's on offer.

The larger case gives you more screen space, and LTE connectivity means the watch can stay connected when you leave your phone behind, provided you have a compatible mobile plan.

As for specs, the Pixel Watch 4 combines the company's distinctive domed display and Wear OS experience with Gemini and Google's increasingly comprehensive suite of health and fitness features.

That includes heart rate and activity tracking, sleep monitoring, GPS and the Fitbit-powered health and fitness ecosystem. It's also a good choice for Pixel phone owners who want Google's equivalent of the Apple Watch experience.

£250 off a £499 watch is already substantial, but dropping roughly £100 below its previous Amazon low makes this one of the standout smartwatch deals of the sale so far.

The Google Pixel Watch 4 45mm LTE is available for £249 on Amazon UK at the time of writing. The deal shown applies to the Matte Black/Obsidian version and requires an Amazon Prime Membership.

Amazon has swooped into action this week, likely because it wants its own slice of the pie compared to Black Friday, when every retailer in the world is competing to offer deals on tech. So, in early October, we now get Prime Big Deal Days, giving extremely impressive discounts to Prime members.

I'm trawling through the thousands of offers available, and with the event only a few hours old, the first big deal to jump out at me on Amazon should come as no surprise, given my recent reviews – it's a Sonos device.

I just reviewed the five-star Sonos Beam Ultra, a stunning new soundbar that pushes the price of the Beam line higher than it's ever been, but it's the older (and still fabulous) Beam Gen 2 that I think would be my personal purchase this week if I were in the market for something.

The main difference between the Beam Gen 2 and the newer Beam Ultra is that the latter has real upfiring drivers for overhead audio in surround-sound settings, but I really think the majority of users won't find fault with the older, substantially cheaper Beam's sound.

It's superb, after all, and I happily used it for years before the Ultra came along – and this deal makes the Beam Gen 2 literally half the price of the Ultra. When that's the arithmetic, I think there's no contest: almost anyone would be better off saving their cash and buying the cheaper soundbar.

After all, this might leave you with leftover budget to pick up some rear surrounds – and how lucky are you? The Sonos Era 100 SL is also discounted for this Prime event, so you could pick up a Beam Gen 2 with two Era 100 SLs, all for less than the cost of just the Beam Ultra.

Picking up a Beam Gen 2 and a couple of Era 100 SLs will basically get you the surround system that I've been using for the past couple of years – and that means I can vouch for how great it is.

Sound quality is crisp and powerful, but you also get nice amounts of subtlety, and Sonos' features like night mode and dialogue boost can be lifesavers if you're trying to watch something obnoxiously loud without making your neighbours hate you.

This sale only lasts for a couple of days, so expect these prices to bounce back up at the end of 7 October – don't hang around if you're thinking of pulling the trigger.

Of the dozens of TVs we review a year here at T3, when it comes to Amazon's best sets there's a theme in those reviews that's my biggest problem with its own-brand TVs.

You already know what I'm going to say: the price. Savvily, however, Amazon has once again just cut the pricing of its Ember TV line – from budget basic to top-tier flagship – with almost half price off some of the sets.

It's all part of Amazon Prime Day (technically Big Deals Days) – which runs today and tomorrow (Tuesday 6 to Wednesday 7 October 2026 – and echoes the pricing of the previous Prime Day sale once more.

So just what can you get? Here are my two picks: a 43-inch low-priced 4K model and a higher-end 65-inch model, that brings even greater brightness to the party.

There's a lot of choice when it comes to buying the best TVs of today, though. From Xiaomi to TCL, Hisense to Haier, there are a lot of big-scale budget options to consider.

While TCL's C7K is our go-to high-end yet affordable pick most of the time, this Amazon price drop on its Mini-LED set might make your purchase decision even more of a conundrum – as the Amazon model is more keenly priced.

All Amazon sets also run Fire TV, which is a great interface whether or not you watch much on Amazon Prime. It caters for the UK catch-up channels, Netflix, Disney+, the lot, all direct from the interface.

So if you've been looking for a TV but the biggest problem has been the price, then Amazon has now fixed that in this Prime deal. Whether it's a winter upgrade, a second room purchase, or a bigger screen blowout – there are many options across the range.

Having waited for months to watch Project Hail Mary on 4K Blu-ray, the movie quickly secured its spot among my favourites of 2026.

That has also seen me become slightly obsessed with Rocky and co – including this wonderful Lego Icons set of the Hail Mary spacecraft. Which, thanks to Amazon's Prime Day sale, I've now purchased!

As with anything Lego, however, it wouldn't have been an impulse buy at its original £99.99 list price. I'd seen it in Dallas airport earlier this month for the same dollar equivalent – but fortunately Amazon's UK sale pricing beats even that.

While the Hail Mary ship looks great – and you even have to make the functional stand that goes with it – it's really the Ryan Gosling (sorry, Ryland Grace) Minifigure, red space suit and all, and Rocky figure that really make this set for me.

If you're running low on space for Lego builds – there are only so many shelves one can dedicate to the art – then this build's dimensions may be integral to your purchase decision. At 30cm high, 25cm long and 22cm wide, it's roughly a 12-inch vinyl size. If you can visualise that in a cube form.

Amazon had been selling the #11389 Lego Icons set at full price until May of this year, when it began to dip. It dipped below £85 in a sale back in June, then lower again in August, but this new drop as part of the sale marks its lowest-ever position in orbit.

With this set now secured at home, I'm going to resist the temptation to open it and await December's arrival. It'll then become my Advent Calendar replacement, building a bag per day – or however it divides out – in the run-up to the holiday break.

Autumn has well and truly arrived, and Amazon has just slashed the price of a proper Berghaus waterproof jacket to its lowest level yet.

The Berghaus RG Alpha 2.0 Waterproof Shell Jacket is currently available for £64.56 on Amazon, which is less than half the £140 price Berghaus charges for the same black jacket.

That's a saving of more than £75, or around 54%. Better still, the jacket's Amazon price history suggests this is as cheap as it gets.

The black version hasn't previously fallen below £76 over the past three months, making today's £64.56 offer its lowest Amazon price during that period.

The RG Alpha 2.0 isn't one of Berghaus' expensive technical waterproof shells, and that's arguably what makes this deal interesting.

It's designed as a lightweight everyday waterproof that can handle everything from rainy commutes and dog walks to weekends spent on the trail.

Berghaus uses its own Hydroshell waterproof technology, designed to keep rain out without turning the jacket into an excessively hot and clammy outer layer.

The design is pleasingly straightforward, with an adjustable hood, full-length front zip, zipped pockets, and adjustable cuffs, all in the understated styling that Berghaus does particularly well.

It's also currently sitting at an impressive 4.6 out of five stars from more than 450 Amazon ratings, suggesting it's proved popular beyond the spec sheet. One person even finished their review saying, "I love Berghaus."

At less than £65, that's a compelling proposition from an established British outdoor brand – particularly when more technical waterproof shells can easily push past £200.

As ever with Amazon clothing deals, prices can vary depending on your chosen colour and size, and the £64.56 offer is exclusive to Prime members.

You might've heard: it's Amazon's Prime Day sale (well, 'Prime Big Deals Days' – but nobody calls it that). Which means one thing: lots of decent offers on lots of decent tech.

I've been keeping a close eye on the best TVs, as there were titters that Amazon's sale would be the ideal shopping opportunity for a new panel. And, sure enough, the deals have come flooding in – with this 75-inch mega-discount the first notable winner.

We reviewed Xiaomi's first foray into the TV market earlier this year, praising the TV F Pro for being great value for money for a QLED. And that was at full price – this discount marks it out as a far better deal, with 37% cut from the price.

You might be wondering what QLED is at this stage, too? That's a layer within the TV panel that results in a wider, more vibrant colour range – really adding to the pizzazz of what you're watching.

The backlight is what's called 'direct LED', meaning illumination from behind for greater accuracy than edge-illumination. However, as it's a VA panel type, you don't get great viewing angles – you'll want to view this set front-on for best visuals.

UK customers benefit from integrated Freely TV, which is easy to use and has all your catch-up services – including BBC iPlayer and the full UK set – without the need for any other complex kit. You can stream direct over Wi-Fi, no cable or aerial required.

I notice that Xiaomi's own store is also selling the set at the same discount, so there's a chance that the deal could extend beyond Amazon's two-day time-frame – finishing at 23:59 on Wednesday 7 October – but I wouldn't wait around to gamble.

If you're in the market for a 75-inch TV bargin, then this whopper is a mega deal.

Amazon Prime events happen throughout the year, though after the main Prime Day in June, the October event is the one to look out for. It's the precursor to the full Black Friday that every retailer gets involved in, but because of that, it's often surprising.

This two-day sale provides big discounts over a short amount of time, which means if you move fast, you can bag some great deals. That's not to say everything is worth buying, though.

When is the next Amazon Prime Day?

The next Prime Day is right now – well, Prime Big Deal Days, to be precise. The sale will start at midnight on Tuesday 6 October and finish at 11:59 pm on Wednesday 7 October. That means you'll be able to get record-low prices across multiple departments, especially on Amazon devices.

The last Amazon Prime Day took place from 23 June to 26 June 2026. There will be further Amazon sales for Black Friday.

How to get a free Prime account for Prime Day

You might already know this (the clue's in the title), but you need to be an Amazon Prime member to shop the Prime Day sale.

However, not only do Amazon Prime members get to shop the Prime Day sale, but they also get early access to ALL Lightning Deals and extra offers on Prime benefits, like coupon offers, free Deliveroo Plus and plenty of other benefits. A Prime subscription is definitely something to consider, therefore.

What were the best Prime Day deals last year?

Prime Day 2025 resulted in some great offers across multiple departments.

The best deals were on a range of tech, kitchen and beauty products. For example, the Samsung S90C TV was on sale with over 40% off, the Apple AirPods Max headphones were at their cheapest yet, and you could get a Philips Hue Starter Kit to begin your smart lighting journey for under £100.

Overall, Amazon devices had the biggest discounts, with Echo speakers, Blink cameras, Kindles and Fire tablets hitting record low prices. Alongside this, Ninja, Sage and Tefal kitchen appliances came with amazing offers, as did Xbox and PS5 controllers.

What brands had the best prices on Prime Day last year?

Plenty of different brands took part in the sales last year, with Sony and Bose being two of the most sought after. Speakers, earbuds and headphones were particularly popular.

Philips, Samsung and Shark all saw big price drops too, and makeup brands like Rimmel saw great sales.

Will Prime Day be better than Black Friday?

Prime Day is heralded as Amazon's biggest sales event of the year. However, Amazon is also well known for its Black Friday sales. Last year, Amazon started its Black Friday sale early, weeks in advance of the official sales date. Many shoppers got to take advantage of early discounts and themed weeks that Amazon ran in the lead-up to Black Friday.
