Two events, over 90 articles and a £10,000 competition prize: this was Tech Innovation for the Future 2018

How T3 and Honor came together to shape the conversation around the future of consumer tech

This summer, T3, in association with TechRadar and Honor , launched and ran the Tech Innovation for the Future project, where we looked at how technological innovation can improve our lives.

As part of the project, we posted more than 90 thought-provoking articles to our innovation hub, and we ran a competition where one lucky winner walked away with a cheque for £10,000!

We also hosted events in Newcastle and London where keynote speakers and panelist came together to share their ideas of how tech can help solve everyday problems. At the events, the audience was also able to put their questions to the  panels and meet speakers, attendees and journalists from TechRadar and T3.

Both events were hugely successful and the feedback from attendees was great. Many thanks to Honor, our speakers and panelists, our event guests and our competition entrants for making this project possible. Take a look at the video below for a flavour of what went down.

Paul Douglas

Paul started his career in publishing 25 years ago, working on a print magazine that consisted mainly of website listings because Google had not yet been invented. He worked in print for over 10 years on various computing titles including .net magazine and the Official Windows Magazine before moving to TechRadar.com in 2008, eventually becoming Global Editor-in-Chief for the brand, overseeing teams in the US, UK and Australia. Following that, Paul has been Global Editor-in-Chief of BikeRadar and T3 (not at the same time) and is now Content Director at T3 and still finds time to write for the site from time to time. In 2021, Paul also worked on the launches of FitandWell.com and PetsRadar.
