Exciting new apps are a regular thing as the fledgling market continues to boom on all fronts. Adding to it today are two absolute doozies. First off we have the official PlayStation app. No, not a replacement for the failed to emerge PSP Phone but a game and stat tracking app linking users to their PSN credentials. After that we have Word Lens, a truly magical augmented reality app that will translate words you happen to point your iPhone at.

Future release news is what gets us excited here in T3 Towers and today we have two very exciting morsels to bring you. First off we have word from RIM that the BlackBerry Playbook tablet is targeting a March arrival. Following on from the expected iPad competitor and we will be seeing a range of new Windows Phone 7 handsets launching in February as Acer and Lenovo look to get in on the act.
