The discounts continue to pour in as Black Friday looms closer, with a lot of retailers putting their offers live before the day actually arrives. That includes drone maker DJI, which is knocking £70 off its DJI Spark mini drone in honour of the shopping season.
Buy direct from DJI and you can get the quadcopter for £449 rather than the usual £519. If you've not come across the gadget before, it can automatically dodge around objects and recognise your hand gestures, despite being small enough to fit in your hand. It can be controlled with your phone or a wave of the hand.
It's an ideal package for someone just getting started with drones: the Spark has a maximum range of 1.2 miles, can shoot up to 1080p video and 12-megapixel stills, and can last for 16 minutes of continuous flight before needing a recharge.
Here are the details:
There's never been a better time to pick up DJI's small but smart Spark drone, which you can work with your phone or just with a wave of your hand. It can run for 16 minutes off a single charge and can be operated from up to 1.2 miles away.
The Black Friday savings don't stop there at DJI. If you need a drone that's more advanced, you can also get £150 off the Mavic Pro Fly More Combo, now down to £1,209 - that bundles the Mavic Pro with a landing pad, propeller holders, and a control stick protector.
Or maybe go for £50 off the Mavic Pro Alpine White Combo, giving you 27 minutes of flight time, a maximum 4K video resolution, and a control range up to 4.3 miles. DJI is also adding Black Friday discounts to its immersive goggles and camera holders.
While we've quoted UK prices above, the US DJI store also has comparable discounts applied to the same gear this Black Friday weekend.
