Amazon Prime Day is more than just a yearly event these days, but while the spring and autumn sales are very nice, this is the big one. The main event, the OG, the big dog – and hopefully, the one with the best savings.

The sale runs from midnight on Tuesday, 23 June to 11:59 pm on Friday, 26 June 2026. Expect a mix of Prime Deals that last the full event as well as some lightning deals that last just a few hours.

When is the next Amazon Prime Day?

The next Prime Day is right now. The sale will start at midnight on Tuesday 23rd and finish at 11:59 pm on Friday 26th June. That means you'll be able to get record-low prices across multiple departments, especially on Amazon devices.

The last Amazon Prime Day took place on 8-11 July 2025, with Amazon Prime Big Deal Days on 8 - 9th October 2024. We expect there to be another Big Deal Days event in October, just before Black Friday.

How to get a free Prime account for Prime Day

You might already know this (the clue's in the title), but you need to be an Amazon Prime member to shop the Prime Day sale.

However, not only do Amazon Prime members get to shop the Prime Day sale, but they also get early access to ALL Lightning Deals and extra offers on Prime benefits, like coupon offers, free Deliveroo Plus and plenty of other benefits. A Prime subscription is definitely something to consider, therefore.

If you're new to Prime, Amazon Prime is available on a 30-day free trial for all new members. If you're a student, there's even better news as Amazon offers a free six-month Amazon Prime trial on Prime Student and after that, it will only cost you £4.49 a month.

What were the best Prime Day deals last year?

Prime Day 2025 resulted in some great offers across multiple departments.

The best deals were on a range of tech, kitchen and beauty products. For example, the Samsung S90C TV was on sale with over 40% off, the Apple AirPods Max headphones were at their cheapest yet, and you could get a Philips Hue Starter Kit to begin your smart lighting journey for under £100.

Overall, Amazon devices had the biggest discounts, with Echo speakers, Blink cameras, Kindles and Fire tablets hitting record low prices. Alongside this, Ninja, Sage and Tefal kitchen appliances came with amazing offers, as did Xbox and PS5 controllers.

What brands had the best prices on Prime Day last year?

Plenty of different brands took part in the sales last year, with Sony and Bose being two of the most sought after. Speakers, earbuds and headphones were particularly popular.

Philips, Samsung and Shark all saw big price drops too, and makeup brands like Rimmel saw great sales.

Due to the cost of living crisis, we believe people use these sales to stock up on essentials for around the home - from washing-up liquid to coat hangers, teabags to cat food. Amazon delivers with incredibly low prices on these products, especially on its Vouchers page.

How much is Amazon Prime membership?

Amazon Prime membership costs £8.99 per month or £95 for a year when paid in advance. For students, the cost is £4.49 monthly and the annual subscription is £47.49.

So, if you want Prime to shop the Prime Day sale, we recommend signing up before the event and if you're new, you can shop with a free month's trial. You can then cancel Prime soon after and it won't cost you a penny more.

Will Prime Day be better than Black Friday?

Prime Day is heralded as Amazon's biggest sales event of the year. However, Amazon is also well known for its Black Friday sales. Last year, Amazon started its Black Friday sale early, weeks in advance of the official sales date. Many shoppers got to take advantage of early discounts and themed weeks that Amazon ran in the lead-up to Black Friday.

Having said that, there are a couple of key differences between Prime Day and Black Friday. The most obvious is that Black Friday isn't an Amazon-only sale. Retailers from around the world take part in the annual event and slash their prices during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend. Black Friday is also available for all shoppers and not just Prime members.

As Black Friday is the more famous shopping event, you might find cheaper prices. What kind of sales has Amazon run in the past?

Looking at last year's Amazon sales is a good indication of what to expect the next time they come around, including Prime Day, Black Friday and Prime Day 2 (Prime Big Deal Days). Amazon constantly has deals available site-wide on a range of products in its 'Today's Deals' section.

At T3, we like to consider ourselves experts on big sales events so by looking at the patterns from Amazon's 2025 sales, we've come up with a few predictions for what we expect to see in 2026.

Like most retailers, Amazon sticks to seasonal holidays, so during spring it offers a wide range of products, including laptops, air fryers, headphones and lawnmowers. As Prime Day traditionally happens in July, there are deals on absolutely everything, but especially on Amazon devices, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners and premium beauty.

Amazon also typically runs themed weeks throughout the year, and specifically in the run-up to its Black Friday event. In the past, there have been Gardening Week and Fragrance Week events. All of this gives us a strong indication that these deals could make a comeback during 2026.

Prime Day is steadily approaching now, and we’re just days away from the big event. The sale is taking place between 23rd and 26th June, giving shoppers the chance to save money on everything from the best coffee machines to the best lawn mowers.

However, if you want to get the absolute best value for your money, there’s one key piece of advice you really need to follow.

I’ve covered the best deals for years now, and this is the fourth Prime Day I’ve worked on specifically, so you could say I know what I’m talking about. So listen up and take note – whatever else you take away, this will be the most important piece of advice you’ll hear.

If you’ve previously heard that some brands will increase their prices on Amazon weeks or even months before Prime Day, only to 'discount' them back to their original RRP when the event arrives, you wouldn’t be wrong. It’s a tactic that can catch a lot of people out, and whilst we don’t see it as often with big-name products, it can still happen.

However, instead of constantly logging on to Amazon every single day in the lead-up to keep track of prices, there’s a much simpler solution – and it’s called CamelCamelCamel.

You may have heard of it before, but it’s essentially a free Amazon price tracker that helps you see exactly how prices have changed over time. It lets you create price watches and get email alerts when prices drop, as well as view the full price history of millions of Amazon products.

This means that if you find a product you like the look of and think the Prime Day discount seems decent, you can quickly check CamelCamelCamel to see its price history. You’ll be able to see how cheap it’s been in the past – and, crucially, whether the price was bumped up beforehand and then reduced for the event itself.

That gives you a much clearer idea of whether you’re actually getting a good deal, and if you’re not, it can point you in the direction of waiting or shopping elsewhere.

The other bit of good news is that CamelCamelCamel is completely free to use, and you can sign up via the website to access all the tools. It's time to get ready for a deal tsunami as Amazon has announced its annual summer Prime Day event.

This year's sales period will run from 23 to 26 June 2026, so is just a few weeks away. It'll once again see 1,000s of items heavily discounted across Amazon in multiple countries, including smart home gear, home appliances, TVs, tech and services, like Prime Video and Amazon Music Unlimited.

Amazon will also be slashes the prices of its own devices once more – including Fire TV Sticks, Ring video doorbells, Kindles, Echo smart speakers and Ember televisions.

As always, you will need to be an Amazon Prime member to get the deals, although you can sign up for free for 30 days if you're not currently a subscriber. That way you can snag all the deals you want and then decide whether you want to continue with your membership or cancel before the first monthly payment is taken.

Amazon Prime Day will also include limited-time deals on newly launched items, plus a zone for the top 100 deals, and Epic Prime Deals with the biggest bargains. And of course, you can also keep up with all the latest tech deal recommendations from the T3 team throughout the event.

Brands that are confirmed to be taking part include Samsung, Sony, LG, Sonos, Hisense and Lenovo. There will also be big deals from the likes of Ninja, Shark, De'Longhi, Instant Pot, Adidas and Lego.

There are even some early deals available now, including on Amazon Prime Video TV and movie purchases – you can get up to 50% off with discounts across the online store.

The first time you put on a properly high-fidelity gaming headset, it can be something of a life-changing moment. If you game a lot, there's nothing quite like a headset upgrade to change the level of immersion you enjoy in your favourite titles, and I think on balance that my biggest-ever upgrade came in the form of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless.

This is technically no longer SteelSeries' highest-end headset (supplanted by the astronomical Arctis Nova Elite), but for years and years, it reigned supreme, and I had previously been using a headset half its price.

The change was obvious, and I'm confident the vast majority of gamers would notice it pretty quickly, too. The Nova Pro Wireless just sounds so natural and precise, whether you're listening out for footsteps and healing sounds in a tense game like Arc Raiders or enjoying a swirling cutscene in something more cinematic like Final Fantasy XVI.

Of course, I can't pretend that this Presidents' Day deal makes the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless cheap – even with this amount of money knocked off, it's still a super-premium headset by most people's standards.

Aside from the raw sound quality, though, it does have the chops to back that price up. For one thing, it has active noise-cancelling to help cocoon you in your gaming environment much better (ideal for when someone else is watching a movie, vacuuming or anything else).

The best Black Friday deals are taking place this week, giving shoppers an opportunity to save hundreds of pounds and dollars on bestselling products. But if you’re not using this Black Friday price alert trick, you’re seriously missing out.

I’ve been covering Black Friday for five years now, and the one trick I always use is setting up price alerts. For those who are unsure, a price alert is a notification that gets sent to you when a specific product drops in price.

For almost every Black Friday, I make a list of what I want to buy my friends and family for Christmas, before I start setting up price alerts for specific products so I can get the best savings possible. This price alert trick has saved me so much money shopping the Black Friday sales – and here’s how you can do it too.

How to set up a price alert on Google

The best way to set up a price alert is on Google. Considering it's the most used search engine, setting up a price alert on Google is extremely easy and typically means you don’t need to download anything or install an extension.

To set up a price alert on Google, you’ll first need to sign into your Google account. From there, you can set up price alerts via the Google Shopping tab. All you have to do is select the product you want to track the price of before selecting ‘Track Price’.

Another way to set up a price alert is creating a custom Google Alert. To do this, go to google.com/alerts, enter the product name or search term you want to track and click ‘Create Alert’. For more options, you can click ‘Show options’ within this setting and you can customise how often you get an alert, which type of source you’ll get it from and region and language settings.

How to set up a price alert on Amazon

Setting up a price alert in Google is my preferred way to check prices but Amazon is one of the most common retailers everyone buys from – and there’s a quick and easy way to create a price alert in Amazon.

On your browser, sign into your Amazon account and select ‘Communication preferences’. From there, click ‘Deals and recommendations’, enable your preferred notification and allow notifications in your browser. This should alert you when your favourite product drops in price.

If you’re using the Amazon app, click ‘App Settings’, ‘Notifications’ and ‘Deals and recommendations’. Note that with both the browser and app, it’s best to set up an Amazon wishlist to make these notifications easier. If you have an Amazon Alexa-enabled device like an Echo, you can also set up Alexa alerts for price drops.

How to set up a price alert on other retailers

For other retailers, you’ll need to install a browser extension to check prices and set up price alerts. There are plenty of options available, but the most popular are CamelCamelCamel, Keepa and Honey.

Tis the week of Black Friday – the year's biggest sales period, focused on 28 November – and the best deals are already flooding retailers.

One question that always comes up, however, is whether Apple does Black Friday promotions? The answer is yes, but only on specific dates.

Apple's official 'Shopping Event' page is now live, detailing the company's provision for gift cards of up to £200 back – with a full list of products and amounts in the Ts&Cs here.

However, this promotional period runs from Black Friday itself, Friday 28 November, through to Cyber Monday, concluding Monday 1 December.

However, here’s the thing – most people don’t realise there’s actually a way to tackle Black Friday shopping that can save you a ton of money in the long run. I personally wish I knew this years ago, but now that I do, you’ll catch me using it every single time.

Step one: make a wish list

Before hunting for deals, the absolute best thing you can do is make a wish list. Include things you’ve had your eye on for a while, some Christmas presents for family and friends, and even household essentials. Having everything in one place helps you keep track of what you actually need.

I like doing this on Amazon since most of the things I want are available there, even if they're from different brands.

Step two: track prices daily

Check your wish list every day from now until Black Friday. Amazon deals officially started yesterday, so there’s still a week before the big day.

To make things easier, use apps or browser extensions that track price history, with Honey, CamelCamelCamel and Slickdeals being great examples. You can even set up notifications to get an email as soon as an item drops to a target price, or hits its lowest price ever.

Google Alerts are also handy to see when brands or publications are covering deals.

Step three: be ready to act

Deals sell out fast during Black Friday, so knowing exactly what you want – and having alerts set up – lets you grab bargains without panic-buying. Ideally, you’ve already done the research on what you want, so you won’t waste time comparing models or features at the last minute.

Without these three steps, Black Friday shopping is basically like finding a needle in a haystack. I’ve been following this routine for the last three years, and it consistently helps me get the best deals – and yes, it also means no last-minute Christmas shopping stress!

Black Friday might not be until 28 November but the big sale starts this week. The Amazon Black Friday sale kicks off on Thursday 20 November and will run until 1 December. That's 10 days of deals to look forward to and a lot to choose from.

As someone that has covered Black Friday sales for more years than I care to count, I always offer some simple advice to anyone planning to buy during these sales. Firstly, to avoid getting overwhelmed, have a plan. Know what you're looking for and stick to it – there's so much to distract you. I find it helps to use the Amazon Wishlist function, as it lets you save things through the year as you see them.

Secondly, do some research. What price does it normally sell for? Are there any alternative models to consider? Often looking one generation back on a product can save you big time.

Finally, choose your time to buy. Check out too early and you may miss another price drop, but wait too long and the product could sell out or return to full price. If you know how low it's dropped in the past, it can help, so I use a price tracker called Keepa.

So, providing you have all that in place, what should you look out for? Well, these are the products I'll be checking as soon as that sale starts.

1. Amazon Echo Show devices

This year was a big year for the Echo Show. New models were announced across the board, including a new Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11. Over the recent Amazon Big Deal Days we say discounts on even some new Amazon devices but you can be certain there will be discounts on the older ones.

My recommendation is to look at the bigger screen models, like the Echo Show 10, Echo Show 15 and Echo Show 21. These are higher-priced devices and so any discount is likely to be significant to the final price.

2. Philips Hue lights

Philips Hue rarely misses a sale, and the discounts on some of its bulbs can be generous. If like me, you've been building a collection of Philips Hue products over the years, you'll want to check out the prices straight away.

Like Amazon, it has launched some new products this year, including its budget bulbs and a new Hub Pro unit, so hopefully we'll see some old ones discounted – or even the new models.

With Christmas coming up, it's also worth checking the price of the Festavia tree lights, as full price they are a little punchy. Luckily, there is already a deal on this at AO.com, however there are likely more options to come.

3. Le Creuset pans

If you don't have at least one Le Creuset product in your kitchen, are you even a grown up? As I continue to shed my Ikea implements for classier versions, I gaze longingly at the Le Creuset of this world. Last year, I treated myself to one of the deep dish pans – perfect for a lasagne or pie – but this year I've got my eyes on the casserole dish.

There's normally some good deals on Le Creuset items in the Amazon sale, though they do sell out quick. If you see one you like the look of, don't delay and just buy it.

4. Wine and spirits

It's often missed that Amazon sells a full range of wines and spirits in its line-up, but it does and often for very reasonable prices. Pre-Christmas, the Black Friday Amazon sale then is a good place to restock the cabinet in time for those gatherings. You'll find an assortment of whisky (and whiskey), gins, vodka, rum and more, as well as champagne and other wines.

i'll be keeping an eye on some of the Irish Whiskey prices, for myself and for gifts, as well as a couple of new rums to add to my collection. I'll also keep an eye on the champagne, as it's always handy for Christmas day and New Year.

5. Aftershave and perfume

Another easy win for gifting (or self-gifting) in the Amazon sale is aftershave and perfume. Here you'll find all the biggest brands, and often for less than you'd pay on the high street. As the Black Friday sale hits, these prices get much lower, and can be worth stocking up on.

Hugo Boss scents are regularly in the discounted list, so I'll make sure I buy at least one more bottle. There might also be some presents for the family among these too, but I don't want to spoil it for them.

Other Black Friday deals to look out for

We’re almost halfway through Prime Day, and the entire team has been pretty impressed with what’s on offer this year. Not only have the deals refreshed quite significantly overnight, but some of the discounts are the best we've seen in ages.

However, if you’ve just found your dream deal and noticed that next-day delivery isn’t available, you’re definitely not the only one.

A lot of eager shoppers have been left scratching their heads wondering why next-day delivery isn’t showing up, even though they’ve got a valid Prime membership. It’s frustrating, especially since fast, free delivery is one of the biggest reasons people sign up for Prime in the first place.

I ran into the same issue last night when I tried to grab one of Dyson’s many deals, so I decided to do a bit of digging.

So, why can’t you get next-day delivery?

The short answer is that Prime Day creates a huge spike in orders, meaning it's easy for Amazon’s logistics network to get overwhelmed. Now that Amazon’s stretched the event over four days instead of the usual two, it’s likely they’ve quietly eased up on next-day delivery to avoid getting completely swamped.

However, there’s another, less obvious reason, too.

A lot of this year’s best deals are being sold by third-party sellers or are fulfilled through Amazon’s FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) programme. That means the products might be coming from different warehouses across the country, or even internationally. That extra travel time can delay shipping, especially when demand is high.

So between the rush of orders and the mix of fulfilment partners, next-day delivery just isn’t possible for everyone this time around. However, the good news is that even if it’s not next-day, your order will probably still arrive within a few days – so it’s definitely still worth a browse.

When does Prime Day 2025 finish?

Amazon Prime Day 2025 ends on Friday 11th July at midnight, giving shoppers a full four days to grab deals. After that, most discounts expire, so it’s best to shop before the clock runs out.

Do Prime Day deals change each day?

Yes – Prime Day deals are refreshed daily. New deals launch every midnight, and Lightning Deals pop up throughout the day. Some discounts last the full event, whilst others are limited to specific hours or stock levels.

When is the next Prime Day?

Prime Day usually happens every July, but lately, Amazon’s been hosting more shopping events throughout the year. For example, there’s often a smaller Prime event in October, and just a few months ago, we had Big Spring Deal Days. So, it’s likely the next big sale will be in October.

It's hard not to get over excited by the frenzy of discounts on Amazon during Prime Day. Percentages and money are thrown in your face from every angle, and all you can think about is hitting that buy button.

But as Vanilla Ice once said, stop, collaborate and listen. There are ways to be smarter in your deals choice that will not only save you time, but also help you search out the very best deals.

Here are my very quick tips to achieving the perfect Prime experience.

1. Make a list

Failing to plan is planning to fail. If there are things you are looking for this Prime Day, put it down in a list. Even better, use the Wish List function in Amazon to create your list. That way, when the deals rolls in, you can just access your list and see which of your items is on sale.

Having items in your wish list will also help Amazon recommend similar products to you that might be on sale – which can be good and bad. Either way, it's a perfect starting point for your deal shopping and potentially a good way to keep you on track.

2. Use a price checker

All of the discounts you see on Amazon are based on the list price, but that doesn't mean that the product was at the list price last week. It could be that it's actually only dropped a smaller amount recently, or even that it's been at an even lower price in the past.

The best way to be sure is to use a price checker. There are a few sites, like CamelCamelCamel that allow you to track the price history of Amazon items, to see the lowest and highest it's been in recent months, or even longer.

My favourite, though, is a Plug-in called Keepa, which adds a price graph onto your Amazon page, so you can see all the information right there.

3. Get membership

The Amazon Prime sale is a members-only event, so you'll only get the savings if you're a Prime Member. You can join Prime a pay a monthly or annual fee. If you shop from Amazon regularly, you'll make the fee back in free shipping. Plus, you get access to Prime Video and the basic Prime Music.

If you haven't joined yet, you can get a free trial membership which is still valid for the sale, or if you're a student, you can even get a reduced-price membership.

When you survey the market and try to work out what the best streaming device is for your needs, there's a pretty good chance that the answer is some form of Amazon Fire TV Stick. These exceptionally impressive little bits of hardware come at a range of prices but all represent extreme value for what they offer.

If you want the best version Amazon makes, with crisp 4K resolution and some excellent additional features, there's no looking past the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, which is a stellar piece of kit. Right now, as part of Amazon's Spring Sale, it's heavily reduced in both the UK and the US, which is great news for anyone looking to upgrade their streaming experience.

Part of what makes the Fire TV Stick 4K Max so great to use is that it's the dictionary definition of "plug and play". You just stick it into a free HDMI slot on your TV, log in and get watching, without any need for running cables through holes in your TV cabinet or anything like that.

Its remote is also super easy to use, with handy voice controls through Alexa for quick searches that work even within apps. Once you start using that shortcut, you won't look back. Finally, picture and sound quality are both excellent, with a range of formats and codecs supported to ensure that you're not missing out on the best possible quality whatever your pick of the best streaming services might be.

Tech writers like me tend to get quite a lot of questions from people we know when sales events like Amazon's Spring Deal Days roll around – and one of the most common is which soundbar they should get. Almost everyone knows by this point that upgrading their TV's sound output can be a huge boost for home viewing and streaming, after all.

Some of the best soundbars on the market can be a little pricy for most folks, but sales events obviously help with that, and Sonos currently has a really tasty reduction on the excellent Beam (Gen 2) that can't be ignored. It knocks £90 off the superb compact Dolby Atmos soundbar to make for a bit of a bargain, and its lowest price in months.

I've been the extremely happy owner of a first-generation Beam for years now, having nabbed one back when they launched, and right now the only upgrade I'd consider would be the second-gen version. Sonos didn't mess with the format much at all, but added some extra smarts to let the soundbar work with Dolby Atmos, for a big boost in audio quality.

I'd love to have that better sound, so anyone who does grab this deal will be doing themselves a favour. If you want more detail about what makes the Beam (Gen 2) so impressive, be sure to read our five-star review from back in 2021.

Soundbars are the type of tech that ages incredibly well since audio formats don't get revolutionised very often, and this has consistently been one of T3's best soundbars for years. In theory this price should last through to Monday, since that's how long Amazon's sale lasts, but it's worth pulling the trigger earlier if you're keen, as you might find that it dips in and out of stock as people buy up the stock.

When it comes to e-readers, there's really only one huge name in the business for many people – Amazon Kindle. The giant online retailer was very early to the e-reader market and has been refining its devices for years now, but in many ways, the most basic of its Kindles still looks like the best value.

That value is even more impressive right now (and for a limited time) thanks to the ongoing Amazon Springs Deal Days sale, which is bringing almost a deluge of impressive price cuts. Amazon's own tech almost always gets steep discounts, and that's exactly how I'd describe this Kindle deal.

The 2024 version of the Amazon Kindle really impressed me when I reviewed it in the latter stages of last year. It's a simple and very well-made little device that doesn't revolutionise anything but does the basics impeccably well.

It's nice and small, unlike some of the more premium readers that Amazon has released in recent years, which makes it very easy to pack in a bag or even pocket. It also has exceptional battery life that measures in the weeks, and 64GB of storage to make it easy to load up even a huge library of books.

The one downside to this deal is that it's on the "with ads" version of the tablet, although you can pay to remove them for £10. You can also only pick the black version, rather than the spiffy new light green colour introduced last year. This price should stay live until Monday, when the sale ends, but I'd grab it before then in case any stock issues means that it becomes harder to find.

Amazon Spring Deal Days kicks off next week and promises impressive savings across the site. Starting on Tuesday 25th March, the sale is on for a full week and will end on Monday 31st March 2025.

Previous deals events have seen record lows on a range of tech, home and outdoor gear and this event promises to feature big brands such as Shark, Adidas, Ninja and Philips. So, if you're looking to refresh your home tech, next week could be the time to do it.

You don't need to wait until next week to find the deals, though. Early deals start today, with discounts on Amazon devices as well as Amazon Basics and Essentials ranges. There's even up to 20% off Amazon resale products for used, returned, and open-box items.

If you want to explore all the deals, you can visit amazon.co.uk/springdealdays right now and see all available deals. As with previous Amazon sales events there will be some limited time Lightning Deals taking place over the week, where you'll need to move fast to get the deal.

Expect to see personalised deals showing up when you log in to Amazon, with items related to things you've searched for in the past, as well as any items that you have on your Wish List.

Is this for Prime members only?

The good news is that you don't need to be a Prime member to shop the Amazon Spring Deal Days discounts. However, there will be some exclusive discounts available just for Prime members – plus the usual benefits of free one-day delivery.

This Christmas, I'm looking to upgrade my home tree, so for Black Friday I'm keeping an eye out for discounts on smart tree lights. I'd love to get the Philips Hue Festavia lights if they come down enough, but otherwise I'm also keeping an eye on the Govee Christmas String Lights, as they often have some money off and are already pretty good value. I'm also looking to buy a 3-pin EV charger. I can't get a full wallbox home charger installed just yet, but these models feature a standard three-pin plug, so you can charge your electric car from any socket.

Update: Mat did in fact buy the Govee Christmas String Lights for his Christmas tree this year, which he got for 35% off. He also bought some Christmas presents for his family and friends (but we won't be saying what exactly in case one of his family members reads this!).

Having gone all-in on LEGO last year, this Black Friday I’m eyeing-up a great little travel tech gadget that breathes new life into the best headphones (which I’m lucky enough to already own – but do keep your eyes peeled for Sony WH-1000XM5 deals nonetheless).

It’s called the Twelve South AirFly Duo and it plugs into the 3.5mm headphone ports that you find on planes – meaning you can use your favourite headphones wirelessly. Better still, the ‘Duo’ part means you can pair two sets – so for, say, a long train journey when watching the best streaming services on a tablet, you can watch with someone else. I can vouch for AirFly, as I’ve used it on many long-haul flights. The main problem is, as you’ve probably guessed, it’s small and easy to leave behind – which I’ve done recently and now need a replacement. So I’ll be tracking the Duo’s price in hope of the best deal.

Update: Mike actually surprised us all by not buying ANYTHING from the Black Friday sales. He chalks it up to being so busy reporting that he forgot to actually buy anything... that's happened to all of us before!

This year, I’ve been putting in a lot more effort with my skincare routine and so I’m hoping that the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 will be on sale this Black Friday. It’s one of the best LED face masks you can buy – and one of the more affordable ones on the market – and it’s already been given a price cut at Boots, so I’m hoping it might drop a little further as we get closer to the day.

As always, I’ll be on the hunt for Le Creuset deals, as I’m hosting Christmas again this year and am in desperate need of more serving dishes. I’m running my first marathon next year, so I’ll probably be hitting up the Gymshark sale for some cheap running gear, and I’ll also be using Black Friday to get my Christmas shopping started – I won’t be divulging exactly what I’ll be buying here so prying eyes don’t find out what they’re getting ahead of time (I’m looking at you, mum!).

Update: After finding out that she might be getting the Silk'n LED Face Mask 100 for Christmas, Beth decided not to treat herself to it but get ahead of her Christmas shopping, which included a few T-shirts from the Gymshark sale and a Dualit coffee bean grinder.

As always, I aim not to buy anything random for myself this Black Friday (although historically, it's very likely to happen). I'll be on a mission to get some Christmas gifts for the family; exactly what is something I'm yet to figure out. Come to think of it, I'm always on a hunt for action camera accessories. I always fancied a Volta mount for my GoPro Hero 13 Black, so I might get one if there is one on offer. I also wouldn't mind a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 if there is a good deal somewhere. Realistically, though, it's more likely I'll end up buying something similar to the bright yellow adidas track pants I bought on Amazon Prime Day…

While I’ve used Black Friday to buy major appliances in the past, as they can be hugely discounted, I’m not in the market for a kitchen upgrade or TV this year. Instead, I’ll be looking for the best booze bargains – having used sales periods to replenish my bulging drinks cabinet for a decade. But the one product I’m most hunting a deal for is the Tom Ford fragrance, Oud Minerale.

I’m somewhat a collector of posh scents and am always looking for a Tom Ford, Creed or Penhaligon’s bargain, and this time around, it’s the former’s Oud Minerale eau de parfum that has piqued my interest. Usually £108 for a 50ml bottle, I’ve already seen it on Boots.com for £86.40, which I’ve bookmarked. However, there could be further deals as we build up to Black Friday itself so I’ll continue my hunt for a few more days.

Update: Rik really went for it this Black Friday! In the sales, Rik treated himself to some cheap alcohol deals, a new printer and the Ninja DoubleStack XL air fryer.

I’m a little overwhelmed just thinking about Black Friday! There probably won’t be any big ticket items on the list for me, but I might try and pick up some bits and bobs if I see a good enough deal. That includes some more Apple AirTags, and maybe a few bits of kit for my (pathetic) home office/studio if they drop low enough.

Update: Like Mike, Emily didn't buy anything in the Black Friday sales. With a focus on shopping more sustainably, she decided not to indulge in the discount period this year.

This Black Friday, I find myself in the unusual position of having an empty shopping list. My one must-buy item this year was a pair of SSDs which I gambled on at Amazon Prime Day, leaving me window shopping this time out. However, I am in the market for a new blender, and really like the look of this Nutribullet at its lowest price ever.

I do also have a basket full of gear for my mirrorless camera, and a hearty enough discount on any of that would be enough to sway me. I’m particularly keeping an eye on the Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 lens, though it’d need a healthy price cut to tempt me.

Of course, with so much of my focus on the best watch deals, I’ll be keeping an eye out for any certified bargains on that front, too. Do I need another watch? Probably not. But there are enough deals to be had early on that it may not be wise to say no!

Update: Sam was very tempted by camera lens and watch deals but instead, he opted to get started on Christmas shopping, which involved lots of whisky and fun dog accessories.

I'm lucky in that reviewing controllers means I've been using a high-end SCUF Reflex to game on my PS5 for a few years now, and loving it – but the worst has finally happened. I've got a drifting analogue stick that's starting to become a bigger and bigger issue, so a new controller might be needed (to pair with my new PS5 Pro).

While I've got every reason to double down on SCUF again, I'd love to pick up Sony's own competitor, the Playstation DualSense Edge, if there's any sort of genuinely chunky discount this year. These haven't arrived at any point yet, but with the base PS5 starting to get some deals, I'm really hoping this Black Friday can oblige. With the best integration on the PS5's own software, and some really nice-looking design touches, it would be an ideal replacement.

Update: Due to the awful weather the UK experienced last week, Max got himself the Karcher Window Vac WV2, as the storm was fogging up his windows terribly!

Now that temperatures have dropped, I'm on the hunt for a cosy electric blanket this Black Friday. There are loads of different types out there, but I'm hoping the Slumberdown Elegantly Warm Luxury Heated Throw will get a good discount, especially as I've seen five star reviews across the board. It was reduced to just £50 during Amazon Big Day Deals, so fingers crossed!

Update: Like Rik, Lizzie also went big with her Black Friday shopping this year – but it was her birthday after all! She treated herself to a bottle of YSL Libre and some clothes at Abercrombie & Fitch.

Despite being an avid tea drinker, recently I’ve become a little obsessed with mochas. I’ve been treating myself to one on my lunch break for the past three weeks now and, as you can imagine, my bank balance isn’t looking too pretty so, this Black Friday, I’m keeping my eyes peeled for the best coffee machine deals. I’m currently eyeing up the Nespresso Liberty Vertuo Next Coffee Machine at John Lewis, as it’s now less than £100, which is an absolute steal! Plus, it’s probably not far off the price of three weeks' worth of mochas.

Update: While Bryony was tempted by a new coffee machine, she's moving very soon so decided not to add an extra box onto her packing. Instead, she treated herself to some cheap moisturiser deals.

"Starting your shopping now allows you to spread the cost of Christmas presents more evenly,” Jessie explains. “If you set a budget of £300 for the season, you can plan to spend around £30 per week. This makes it much easier to manage your finances while still being able to buy meaningful gifts for your loved ones.”

Instead of a last-minute rush that might lead to panic-buying and overspending, Jessie recommends setting aside a small portion of your weekly budget specifically for Christmas presents. This way, you avoid the financial strain in December and can also take advantage of early discounts and deals.

Expert tips for Christmas shopping

1. Make a list and set a budget

"Write down everyone you plan to buy for and set a budget for each person,” advises Jessie. Knowing how much you can spend per gift is essential for sticking to your overall budget and avoiding the temptation to splurge.

2. Start early for better deals

"The earlier you start, the more likely you are to find discounts or special offers,” Jessie says. Retailers often launch sales, especially around Black Friday, ahead of the holiday rush, so take advantage of these promotions.

3. Shop for meaning, not quantity

Jessie stresses the importance of selecting thoughtful, personalised gifts over sheer quantity. “You don’t need to go overboard with the number of gifts. A meaningful, well-thought-out present can be far more impactful than a pile of things your recipient may never use.”

Amazon Prime Day is one of the most significant shopping events of the year. Traditionally, it occurs in mid-July, marking the anniversary of Amazon's founding, though the exact dates can vary. In 2024, it occurs between 16 and 17 July. As always, there are tons of exciting Prime Day deals to choose from.

Amazon Prime Day is an annual event typically held once a year, exclusively for Amazon Prime members. Since its inception in 2015, Prime Day has become one of the most anticipated shopping events, rivalling Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

While some people can sign up for Prime for free (Amazon often runs promotions), the full-price membership costs £8.99/ $14.99/ AU$9.99 per month. You can pay annually and save money if you wish; currently, annual Prime Membership costs £95/ $139/ AU$79.

Prime Membership benefits vary from country to country, but it can include free shipping, access to Amazon Prime Music and Amazon Prime Video, free games, and free access to magazines and ebooks.

The event spans 48 hours, during which Amazon offers significant discounts on various products, including headphones, fragrances, telescopes, smartwatches and more. 

In recent years, Amazon has extended the duration and added more deals leading up to and following the official Prime Day to increase engagement and sales.

Occasionally, Amazon hosts additional sales events, such as Prime Early Access Sale, which can resemble Prime Day regarding deals and exclusivity. However, these are not annual fixtures like Prime Day itself.

Various factors, including market conditions, competitive strategies, and global events, can influence the exact frequency and timing of Prime Day, but the primary Prime Day event remains a yearly occurrence.

Shops often do this to make shoppers spend more money, so it's important to know that you're not being tricked into unnecessarily buying something. 

To help you identify popular tactics used to influence shoppers into buying more, we spoke to Michael Weir, head of behavioural science at Impression. He revealed to us the top 5 subtle tricks Brits should look out for, and that's what we will be sharing with you today.

1. They create a fear of missing out 

One of the most powerful tools that brands use to encourage you to buy is creating a fear of missing out. This could be done through countdowns and messages that trigger scarcity, such as ‘low in stock’ or ‘selling fast’, encouraging customers to rush through the buying process and check out quicker. 

Be cautious of being swayed by these pressuring tactics. Try making a wishlist of things you want before going online to avoid overspending. Just because an item is ‘selling fast’, doesn’t necessarily mean it's an essential purchase if your budget is tight heading into the new year.

2. They put on 'exclusive' deals

As humans, we want to feel special, and businesses often tap into this by offering us exclusivity through memberships, loyalty programs and personalised deals. 

Be cautious of getting caught in the headlights of discounted pricing just because it appears that it's special for you. If you didn’t intend to buy it before you saw the discounted price, don’t let your member status be the reason that persuades you to check out. 

3. They offer rewards in return for spending more

Rewards often come in the form of free gifts, promotional codes and free delivery deals. We all know that feeling of adding more items to the basket to guarantee free delivery, despite this doubling the intended cost of the purchase. 

Brands use these tricks to tap into the idea of reciprocity or giving something for getting something. By offering you rewards for shopping, you are more likely to spend more, but also build loyalty with them.

4. They use influencers to influence trust

Many websites will use recognisable personalities or influencers to earn your trust in their products and ultimately persuade you to make a purchase. 

By using influencers and popular models, whose faces we are used to seeing, it makes us feel more at ease believing them. After all. if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for us.

5. They use countdowns to rush the checkout process

Despite occasional intense messaging and countdowns, most websites will hold products in your basket for an hour. 

Really use this time, and don’t rush to checkout just because the website is telling you to do so. We know the timer is distracting, but that in itself is an easy psychological trick to push us to buy.

Take the time to reflect on whether the product is something you need and if you haven’t already, do some research around the product to make sure you couldn’t find it elsewhere for a cheaper price or higher quality. 

Whether you've just bought yourself a new iPhone 15 or are a staunch Android user, the chances are you could use an extra USB-C charger. Having just about everything charge via a USB-C cable is certainly handy but if you only have a single cable it can be frustrating.

Along with being T3’s resident Social Media Editor and content creator, I can also pretty confidently claim the title of being the team member with the heaviest backpack — I’m always carrying most of my kit around just in case there’s a moment that needs to be captured for all posterity on our social channels. You might be thinking, “Oh, Emily will definitely have a new, bigger backpack listed in this article to ease her travel woes,” but alas, no. There is room in the current bag yet, and my spine is still young, so of course my eye is on even more fun tech to up my capture game. 

1. Neewer 73.6" Horizontal Tripod

First up, I desperately need a new tripod. And I promise, this is going to be the least fun bit on my list, but a good tripod is essential and I’ve been wrestling with my current one for far too long. My ideal selection, however, is the Neewer 73.6" Horizontal Tripod, which normally retails for a bit more than I personally would like to shell out. 

Now, as you can probably guess, I tote my kit back and forth between my home office and T3’s headquarters, so I prefer any accessories I have to be multifunctional. The great thing about this Neewer 73.6” tripod is that it is super versatile. At T3, we shoot a mix of to-camera and overhead angles (for all those unboxings), so having one tripod that can do both really is ideal, and this one has a 180 degree tilt and 360 degree rotation. It’s also dual-camera, so we can mount both a horizontal camera for YouTube content and a phone for vertical video. If we end up getting super fancy (my goal, obviously) we could even put a monitor on one of those sides. 

Okay, I’m slightly drooling so I’m going to stop the description here, but you get the point: it’s nice. Hopefully it will drop a bit (or a lot?) from the current £138.99 price tag so I can get my hands on one and not feel guilty! We’ll keep you updated. 

2. Hobolite Mini Continuous LED Light 

This one is honestly so extra of me, because there are most definitely cheaper lights that would get the job done, but hey, this is T3 — you don’t work here without developing a taste for a the expensive and stylish. One of T3’s photographers (shout out to Olly!) actually put me on to this brand, and ever since seeing their stuff, I am in love. Once again, portable, multi-use, AND looks good as hell? Yes, please! I’ll be realistic and say that I’m more than likely not picking this up . . . But if it fell to the right price? Apologies to my bank account in advance. 

3. DJI Wireless Lavalier Microphone 

These lav mics are a TechTok darling — everyone who has them seems to rave about them, and I am most definitely interested in upgrading. We currently use the RøDE Wireless ME mics in our videos (if you’ve seen our videos, you can probably spot one!), but I won’t lie, there are some drawbacks. 

Mainly, I love that the DJI lav mics come from with a charging case — the Wireless MEs have to be charged by USB-C cord, which can just get a bit cumbersome when you’re already juggling a million different cables. Plus, it’s too easy to just set them down — I forget to charge them way too often. The DJI have this nice compact case that would fix that, plus keep them safe! 

There’s also two transmitters included in this bundle, which is handy for when we have multiple people on screen and we don’t want to awkwardly share a mic. And, to top it off, the receiver has a built-in OLED touchscreen for the basic controls, which makes life just that much easier. A definite upgrade I’m keeping an eye on. 

4. Neewer Upgraded Interactive RGB Light Stick 

If you know anything about filming/photography, you know that lighting is the most important aspect. It can take a scene from drab to glowing, and for T3, we have a certain mood we like our videos to strike. So this addition to the list is pretty basic, but a new light stick with more functionality would be really nice considering what an important part it plays in making our footage feel “us”. 

This light stick also has a Philips Hue-esque app for colour mixing, which is fabulous — means I wouldn’t have to climb all over our carefully-constructed scene if I need to make adjustments to the lighting, and I could simultaneously see the difference my changes make on camera instead of running back and forth. What luxury! 

5. Adobe subscription 

Finally, an Adobe subscription is calling my name. I’ve had various Adobe apps on-and-off through the years, depending on what kind of project I’m working on, but over the past few years it has just become too expensive to justify when there are free apps that can do the same thing. 

But just because free apps can do the “same” thing, doesn’t mean they are as easy to use, and Adobe just really is an industry standard. I would much rather have the ease of Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite and all of its additions than having to jump back and forth between lesser apps that might achieve a similar effect, but take way more time. Time is an important commodity when it comes to content creation! 

Plus, I have always been largely self-taught when it comes to using content creation software, and Adobe is so well-documented that I can easily find amazing creators on YouTube to help develop my skills through tutorials and explanations. My colleague has actually already written about the stellar deal Adobe has on right now, so I’m just going to link to his article here so you can check it out for yourself.

Wanna rock? T3 towers is often full of the sound of shredding. Multiple members of the team love to play guitar (myself included). You might eventually catch us forming a band but until then I figured we could bring you some of the best deals on Fender guitars this Black Friday season. 

Of course, choosing an axe (I always wanted to say that) depends on budget and experience level. Luckily at the office, we have a range of abilities. From myself, who started guitar a year ago, Editor-in-chief Mat Gallagher who has been playing for many years and Staff Writer Sam Cross who used to work at a guitar store for three years and has had more guitars than hot dinners. The best Fender deal for beginners 

Having never touched a guitar before I started learning just over a year ago from an app. I practice pretty much every day now but I'm the first to admit that I'm not exactly a rock God. I really enjoy playing acoustic over electric (and the neighbours thank me for it!).

You just have to look at Sam's hair to know he loves guitars. He worked as a supervisor in the guitar department of a major music retailer and is one gnarly dude. Like a guitar Yoda, he's also always giving me tips (or lectures) about the merits of one guitar over the other.  

There's a certain frenzy that develops over the Black Friday deals. Even the smallest of discounts on the right products can lead to people throwing their credit cards at the cashiers (at least virtually) without thinking twice. But how do you know if you're really getting a bargain?

The discounted listed against the original price is often only a small part of the story. Prices often fluctuate throughout the year and may well have been lower in the past. The product may be coming towards the end of its lifecycle, due to a newer model being available, or it might be that this version wasn't all it was cracked up to be in the first place. 

A successful deal purchaser comes to the table with knowledge. Knowledge about the product, how much it has really sold for in the past, and what else is out there that compares to it. 

As not only a seasoned deal shopper, but also as a regular writer of deals, I'm going to share with you a few of my checks that I will always do before buying a discounted product – whether it's on Black Friday or any other time of year.  It might look like a long process, but with practise, it can all be done in a few minutes. 

1. Check the reviews

The first place I always go when deciding whether to buy a product is the reviews. That can be the buyer reviews (which you should always take with a pinch of salt) or the professional reviews. 

T3 reviews a massive range of products, so I'll check our own back catalogue first, but if it's something not in our wheel house, I'll find another reputable brand online that has given it a proper hands-on review. You can normally tell pretty quickly if they haven't used it. 

Not only will the review tell you how good the product is, but it will normally give you a guide to where it sits in the market, and the products it compares to. All this is useful later on. 

2. Check the competition

The chances are, your chosen product isn't the only one of its kind in the market. For any one device there's likely to be a competitor from another brand, or even a more budget or premium alternative from the same company. There could even be older or newer versions of your product available.

Doing this allows you to get a few options to chose from when it comes to the final decision. Make a note of these other models, as you'll want to include them in the next part of the process. And if you ultimately like one of them more, you will want to check its reviews too. 

3. Delve a little deeper into the price

The term list price or RRP is normally that which is suggest by the manufacturer or at least the price of the item when it first went on sale. If your product has been on sale for some time, it might not have sold at this price for months or even years, so that discount figure could be a little misleading. 

There are various ways to see the price history of an item. Firstly, the reviews will often give you a guide of how much it's really selling for. There are also a number of price tracking websites that allow you to get a detailed range of prices that anything has sold for. For Amazon, The CamelCamelCamel site is a handy option and even has a widget available for Chrome. 

A general search for the product name will also allow you to see how much it's selling for on other websites. I look not only at the current selling price, but also how much it says it has been marked down from as a guide – as some websites are more honest than others. 

4. Compile your info

By now you will have an idea of which is the best product, or maybe a couple of options that would work for you, and an idea of how much they have been selling for. With this info you can now work out whether you're actually getting a decent discount. 

Always look at discounts in terms of money rather than percentage. A 20% reduction on a cheap product could be just a few pounds/dollars, while a 5% saving on something pricier could mean hundreds lopped off the bill. 

5. Timing is everything

The final key part to bagging a bargain is knowing when to pull the trigger – or rather, hit the checkout. Buy too soon and you could see the price drop lower still, but wait too long and the price may go back up, or the product could go out of stock. 

The best plan is to set a level at which you are willing to buy. If it drops below a certain price, you'll definitely buy it, and until it does, you're willing to wait and maybe miss out. 

Most deals will generally get better the closer to big sales days you get, so a deal a week out from Black Friday might be worth waiting on. But if it's something you really want, how much are you willing to risk?

It's very easy to get swept up in the excitement of the Black Friday deals, with big discounts off just about any type of product you can imagine. You really can save some serious cash if you're smart about it, but that takes planning. 

I don't know the percentage, but I imagine a lot of the purchases over Black Friday aren't planned, and are things that people might not have bought had they not been on sale. So, rather than saving money, that's just extra spending. 

Having covered the Black Friday sales for T3 for some years now, friends and family often ask for my advice before Black Friday. What's good to buy this year? How do I get the best deals? Will there be good discounts on air fryers?

My advice is to have a plan and stick to it. I use the same thinking when hitting the tables in Las Vegas. You might not always stick to that plan, if you see a really tempting deal on offer, but having a line of attack in advance will make your browsing simpler and should save you cash. 

Here are my pointers for a successful and financially astute Black Friday shopping spree. 

1. Get your list together

One of the reasons I end up shopping from Amazon so much is that I love its list facility. Creating a wishlist, whether it's on a site like Amazon, or just on a piece of paper will help you to prioritise your purchases. 

2. Check the reviews

If you see a product you like, it's always worth doing a little more research as to what the experts think. The models likely to get the biggest discounts are unlikely to be the most popular, but take a looks at the pros and cons and also look for variations. TVs for instance are likely to have a few similar models, which gives you extra choice when it comes to sale prices. 

3. Compare prices

Once you have your products locked in, you can start researching the prices across various stores. Even though list prices may be the same, some stores may already have discounts running, so that saving for Black Friday might not be as big as it seems. 

4. Don't jump too early

The Black Friday sales span the whole month of November these days, and even into October. That means there will be tempting prices in the weeks ahead of Black Friday. The chances are though, these prices will get even lower as the weeks roll on. Something with a 10% discount could have 20% off next week. Of course, there's always a risk that it will sell out, but hold your nerve as long as you can. 

5. Treat yourself, don't cheat yourself

The Black Friday sale is a great way to get an early start on your Christmas shopping, and save some cash in the process. But don't forget about yourself. As long as you don't go crazy, it's a great chance to buy yourself something nice too. After all, you deserve it.

The best Black Friday deals are coming up on 24th November 2023, although many brands and retailers have set their offers live early. From now until the 27th November (a.k.a Cyber Monday), this time of year is the best time to save money on the latest products and gadgets.

With the Black Friday sales in full swing, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all the bargains and discounts up for grabs. Getting caught up in all the excitement is easy to do but when that happens, it’s easy to fall into discount traps where you’re not actually saving as much money as you think you are. Not only that, but you could waste your cash on things you don’t really need by getting carried away with the deals on offer.

To help you find the best prices and avoid spending a fortune, here are seven shopping tips you need to stick to this Black Friday.

1. Make a list… and stick to it!

The first and most important thing to keep in mind when shopping the Black Friday sales is to make a list and stick to it. Throughout November, there are deals flying here, there and everywhere, so it’s surprisingly easy to get carried away and spend money on things you don’t want or need. To stop you doing this, create a list of products to keep your focus during the sales. I make a list of Christmas gifts I want to buy for people, as well as finding the links to the retailers, so on the day, I simply check my notes and get my Black Friday shopping done immediately. Not only does this limit the risk of buyers remorse, but it also helps you stick to a budget.

2. Sign up for an account

Depending on the retailers you’re shopping at, it’s a good idea to sign up for an account, subscription service or newsletter. By signing up for an account, you’ll be the first to be notified about deals. This helps ensure that you get what you want without it going out of stock or rising in price, plus you can checkout more quickly. If you don’t want an account, you can sign up to a newsletter to get emailed about the latest sales, or you can go all in and pay for a subscription service like Amazon Prime.

3. Use price checking tools

To make sure you’re getting the cheapest possible prices, use a price checking tool to check the price history of the product you want to buy. Some retailers try to entice shoppers with advertised savings or artificially up the price only to bring the product back down to its original price on Black Friday. This can fool you into thinking you’re getting something super cheap when it’s not too much of a difference. Instead, research the products’ price from different retailers or use price checking sites to see how much the price has been previously.

4. Set reminders

Found a product you like? Set a reminder for it so you know when it drops in price. During the lead-up to Black Friday, early deals go on sale but they often fluctuate up until the official Black Friday weekend. To make sure you’re getting the lowest price possible, set reminders via the retailer's website so you’re notified when the item is in stock and at its cheapest.

5. Shop a year behind

Black Friday is often used by retailers and stores to clear out last season’s stock in preparation for newer models. When this happens, you’ll see TVs, laptops, tablets and other devices that are only a year old get huge price cuts, purely because they’re not the newest on the market. By shopping a year behind, you can find some of the cheapest prices on top products that are only a year old and still incredibly high quality.

6. Look out for price matches and discount codes

You might not expect Black Friday to have price match guarantees but it does… and you can save tons of money when you use them. A Black Friday price guarantee means specific retailers will match the price of a product or refund you the difference if you find it cheaper elsewhere. Check if your retailer of choice offers a price match guarantee and get in touch with their customer service to claim yours.

If you’re planning some serious spending, you can take more money off with discount codes. While some retailers won’t let you use discount codes with reduced items, there are the occasional brands that will let you. For example, Currys often offer extra discount codes during Black Friday for shoppers to take more money off and get free delivery and installation on large items.

7. Don’t forget Cyber Monday!

Cyber Monday (27th November 2023) is directly after Black Friday and can help you save more money on products and gifts. Historically, Black Friday was focused on in-store deals whereas Cyber Monday was strictly online, and while this has changed in recent years, Cyber Monday often gets bigger discounts online because of this. Some retailers will offer bigger price cuts on Cyber Monday, specifically those who sell consumer tech like TVs, laptops and printers.

Many retailers have already kicked off their Black Friday sales early, but one question that may be on your lips is, "When does the Apple Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale start?"

Well, as is tradition, Apple won't rush into its major deals period. It will, in fact, start its big bargain bonanza on Black Friday itself – Friday, 24 November 2023. And it'll run through to the end of play on Cyber Monday, 27 November.

The company has also revealed that its deals will be largely what we've come to expect over the years – you'll get an Apple Gift Card worth up to $200 / £160 with eligible purchases on the Apple Store.

That means, should you be in the market for a new iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, Apple Watch or AirPods, you will have additional credit to spend on any other item on the Apple Store afterwards.

What to expect in the Apple Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale

Apple has also revealed, via its event preview site, some of the Gift Card values that will be available for different products.

iPhone

If you purchase an iPhone SE, iPhone 13 or iPhone 14, you can get up to a $75 / £60 Apple Gift Card.

Mac

Buy a MacBook Air or Mac mini and you can score up to $200 / £160.

iPad

An iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad (10th gen), or iPad mini purchase will net you up to $100 / £80.

Apple Watch

Up to $50 / £40 in Gift Card form will be yours when buying an Apple Watch Series 9 or Apple Watch SE.

AirPods

Those opting for a pair of AirPods (2nd gen), AirPods (3rd gen), AirPods Pro (2nd gen), or AirPods Max can snag a Card worth up to $75 / £60.

TV & Home

Apple TV 4K and HomePod purchases will reward you up to $50 / £40.

Apple accessories

There will be Apple Gift Card values up to $50 / £40 when you buy a Magic Keyboard, Magic Keyboard Folio, Apple Pencil (2nd gen), or Keyboard Folio.

Beats

And finally, Beats audio products will also be eligible when bought from the Apple Store, including the Beats Studio Pro, Beats Solo 3 Wireless, Powerbeats Pro, Beats Fit Pro, Beats Studio Buds +, Beats Studio Buds, and Beats Flex.

Of course, you might not want to wait until then and would rather purchase your next Apple product earlier. Well, some third-party retailers are already offering some excellent Apple deals.

The new Apple MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip is available with $200 off at B&H Photo, for example. The discount will be applied at checkout.

Either way, Black Friday will undoubtedly once again be a great time for new kit.

The Black Friday sales are fully up and running with many retailers already offering big bargains across many thousands of products. However, there is one big brand still absence at present, with Amazon not set to launch its main Black Friday event until tomorrow, Friday 17 November.

Of course, Amazon being Amazon, it does have some deals available already – not least on its own devices and TVs. But we're expecting so much more come Friday.

How will Amazon's Black Friday sale work?

Unlike Prime Day and this year's Prime Big Deal Days, Amazon's Black Friday bargains will not be exclusive to Prime members. It will, instead, offer just about everything to all-comers.

That's not to say you shouldn't consider Prime membership if you don't already subscribe. For starters, you'll get same- and next-day delivery on thousands of the deals, plus you can reap the benefit of early Lightning Deals.

Also, as you get a 30-day trial period for free, there's no real reason not to sign up for Prime. You can, after all, cancel after Black Friday is done and not have to pay a penny.

What deals can I expect?

There will be so many deals available that we don't know where to start.

Amazon has already heavily discounted its own devices, including the 55-inch Amazon Fire TV 4-Series.

However, there will be big bargains to be had on beauty products, booze, smart home tech, kitchen appliances, video games, and clothing. In fact, if Amazon sells it, there will be deals to be had in that category.

There will also be "Wow! Deals", which is a section of the site that will feature the biggest discounts on the largest brands.

The dedicated area will also host some special offers, such as invite only deals like the 55-inch Amazon Fire TV 4K HDR set for just £149, so we advise also checking that page often too.

Any other tips?

Perhaps our biggest tip is that you should remember that the Amazon Black Friday sale will last an entire week, with Cyber Monday following immediately after. So, don't rush into a purchase unless you're sure it'll sell out.

That way you can evaluate your purchase decisions and maybe make your money go further.

With the best Black Friday deals coming up next week, now is a good time to start researching what you want to buy and taking advantage of early discounts. For Black Friday, you’re guaranteed to find low prices from the top retailers, but if you’re planning to shop at Amazon, you can use this money-saving hack for extra savings on your orders.

Amazon’s Black Friday Week is starting on 17th November and running until the 27th, giving shoppers a full 10 days to shop for Black Friday deals. The type of discounts expected from the best Amazon Black Friday deals include Echo devices, air fryers, laptops, smart cameras and much more.

Amazon is known for giving its customers extra ways to save money, particularly its Prime members. But this hack is available to everyone… as long as you have a gift card, that is.

Amazon is offering an extra £5 to customers who top up a gift card. Amazon Top Up (or Amazon Reload if you’re in the US) lets you add funds to your gift card balance to help speed up the checkout process, save up for special purchases and keep track of your spending.

How this hack works is you have to top up your gift card balance with £60 or more in a single order. When you do this, Amazon will give you an additional £5 to your gift card which can be used on your next Amazon purchase. So, if you top up your gift card by £60, you’ll actually have £65 to spend on Black Friday.

To qualify for this offer, you need to have made a purchase on Amazon in the last 12 months and must not have topped up your gift card in the last 36 months. This offer is also limited to new Top Up customers and has a limit of one reward per person. Other terms and conditions apply, and you must top up your gift card by 28th November to take part.

For US shoppers, Amazon Reload is the same as Amazon Top Up but as of writing, there’s no money offer when you ‘reload’ your gift card. This could change in the lead-up to Black Friday but this offer seems to be only available in the UK.

Black Friday is the best time of year for deals, and it’s always helpful to have extra money off, particularly in the run-up to Christmas. This money-saving hack is definitely worth taking advantage of if you’re planning to shop for Black Friday deals at Amazon, and here’s why.

Firstly, who doesn’t love having extra money to spend?! Having an extra £5 on your gift card means you can take advantage of more purchases, and might even help you stretch to getting that special product you’ve had your eye on. While Black Friday is all about savings, it’s important to not go too overboard, so using a gift card is a great way to budget yourself during the Black Friday sales. Lastly, having a gift card on your account speeds up the checkout process, which is very much needed during the Black Friday madness!

Black Friday is finally upon us, and whilst it's the perfect weekend for finding bargains, it's also a prime time for fraudsters to target unsuspecting shoppers. The fast-paced nature of Black Friday can make scams harder to spot, especially with time-limited offers or deals that seem too good to miss.

To help you stay safe, we've put together five simple tips to avoid scammers this Black Friday – ensuring your shopping experience stays secure, from hitting 'buy now' to when your parcel arrives on your doorstep.

1. Look out for dodgy emails 

When it comes to big shopping events like Amazon Prime Day or Black Friday, fraudsters love to draw in victims by sending an email seemingly offering an exclusive or secret deal at one of your favourite shops. It's a very easy kind of scam, especially as the fraudsters don't have to put in a lot of effort. A lot of these kind of emails can look very realistic, especially if logos or images are selected and used from the legitimate website.

One important way to look out for this is to see if the domain name of the sender's email address is slightly off, or just plain incorrect. It could also be a good idea to see if the email address matches the official one from the shop it's claiming to be. Lastly, if the email is in your 'junk' or 'spam' inbox, then it should probably stay there. 

2. Double check those reviews

Checking out product reviews is a useful way of determining how genuine something is and how much you should be spending on it. You never known, someone could have purchased the same product and realised they'd received a cheap knock off rather than the real deal, especially if it's through a second-hand retailer website. By leaving a review detailing this, they're essentially helping you out at the end of the day, so make sure you check! 

3. Don't use public Wi-Fi

Public Wi-Fi networks are convenient, especially if you're on the go, but they're also less secure. If you're planning on making some purchases over the Black Friday weekend, avoid doing so when connected to public Wi-Fi as cybercriminals and scammers can easily intercept your data. It's safer to just avoid it altogether, but if your money is burning a whole in your pocket, then consider using a VPN to protect yourself. 

4. Look out for 'missed delivery' messages

Another classic Black Friday scam is known as the 'missed delivery' scam. It usually comes through as a text message suggesting you have a parcel waiting with Evri, Royal Mail or another delivery provider. If you're planning on buying lots or doing all your Christmas shopping, it can be difficult keeping track of what you've purchased and when it's arriving. Therefore, when you receive a text saying you need to claim a package, it can be quite believable. 

If the text message asks you to click on a link or pay a collection fee, then it most likely is a scam. Most delivery couriers will leave a paper slip if they miss you, providing instructions on how you can get it redelivered. It's always best to follow these rather than a text. 

At the end of the day, if you do miss a parcel and it has to go back to the retailer, you'll get your money back. This is always a safer option than risking someone scamming you. 

5. Try to use a credit card instead of a debit card

If there's an option to purchase your Black Friday deal with a credit card instead of a debit, try and do that. Credit cards offer fraud liability protection, something that debit cards do not, meaning online purchases bought with a credit card have less of a risk. 

What should you do if you've been scammed?

If you think you've been scammed, you must contact your bank immediately. In a lot of cases, your bank will be able to stop the payment and return it to your account. If the scam involved entering your username or password for any online accounts, you must change your password immediately, as well as on any other account the same password is used. 

You should then report the scam to Action Fraud either through their website or by calling 0300 123 2040.

Did you get some new tech during the Prime Big Deal days? New toy joy is a wonderful thing, but once you've put the Prime packaging in the recycling bin it's time to think about the tech you might have just replaced – or any other tech you've long since stopped using or lost interest in. 

It's International E-waste day on Saturday, which is designed to raise awareness of a significant problem: many of us worry about our environmental footprint, but not everybody does anything about it when it comes to electronics.

According to the UN, we'll produce so much e-waste this year that it'll be the equivalent of 8kg for every single person on Earth: in total, that waste will weigh more than the Great Wall of China. And only 17.4% of that waste will be recycled.

Here in the UK, a survey on behalf of refurbished technology marketplace Back Market – who of course have a vested interest in this, but that doesn't negate the study – found that fewer than half of Britons recycle our old technology: just 47% of us. And only 48% of us attempt to extend the lifespan of our devices. 

What is international e-waste day?

International e-waste day is designed to try and persuade more of us to recycle our stuff – and not to do what I do, which is to keep an every more frightening cupboard of confusing cables and kaput keyboards until it gets too much and I take it to the tip.

The theme this year is that if it has a plug, a battery or a cable, you can recycle it – and that means more than just mobile phones and computers. It also includes all your smart home tech, e-bikes and e-scooters, e-cigarettes and smoke detectors, wearable devices and anything else electronic. In total, the typical EU and UK home has 73 such devices in it - but a study for the WEEE Forum found that 13 of them are being hoarded, 9 just aren't used and 4 are broken. In particular devices such as headphones and remote controls are not considered as electronic items and just dumped rather than recycled.

It’s now under a week until Amazon Prime Day (6 days and counting!) and we hope you’re just as excited as we are. T3 is very busy this week collecting all the best deals before the big day hits, but did you know that there are a few ways you can save money on top? The cost of living crisis means even more of us are on the lookout for a bargain, so there’s no point in paying more than you need to, is there?  

Before you part ways with your precious cash, let us tell you about some hacks that will make clicking that ‘buy now’ button a bit more enjoyable. 

1. Sign up for a free Amazon Prime membership

Before you do anything, you have to make sue you have an Amazon Prime membership if you want to be involved in the deals. Prime Day is exclusive to members, meaning you won't get any savings if you haven't got a membership. However, do not worry if you don't have one! Whilst it costs £8.99 ($14.99) a month, or £95 ($139) for a yearly membership, did you know you can try out Amazon Prime for free for 30 days, providing you're not already signed up?

If you're planning on making a purchase during Prime Day, it's worth signing up now. You can easily cancel your subscription once Prime Day is over without even paying a penny - sounds great right?

2. Have a look at the Amazon Vouchers page for secret discounts 

Amazon Vouchers is a page that shows additional savings that require you to manually add them to your order. Once you’ve found a voucher, you will need to click on it to save the discount and then add the item to your basket. The discount is then automatically applied to your basket price. 

You can choose which section of vouchers you’d like to browse, such as Home & Garden or Electronics. For example, there’s currently a discount for 50% off the Dyson v8 battery! If you’re thinking of purchasing something before, have a look at these Amazon discounts so you can save in preparation as well. 

3. Purchase items through Amazon Renewed

Amazon Renewed is a separate page that allows you to purchase refurbished goods at a cheaper price. They are pre-owned items that have to pass a quality control check so there won’t be any issues attached. Amazon Renewed products even come with a separate one-year warranty, so you don’t have to worry about a thing!

This is a great option if you’re on the look out for a new phone, laptop or television. 

4. Keep an eye out for a bargain on Amazon Warehouse 

Amazon Warehouse is a separate page where you can buy returned or slightly damaged goods at much lower prices. You are always given in depth detail about the product, as well as what its condition is like. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days.  

5. Plan ahead

Even though it sounds boring, one of the best ways you can save money is by avoiding any unnecessary spending - you don’t want to buy something just because it’s on sale. Before Prime Day, make a wish list of all the products you’ve got your eye on. When the time comes, you can just check the list to see if anything’s on sale and easily move items to your cart and check out. This will save time as well!

Remember, Amazon Prime Day takes place Tuesday 11th July - Wednesday 12th July. Set your alarms to you know not to miss it!

Amazon never misses the chance to have a sale, which is one reason we strongly advise people not to pay full price for Kindle e-readers, Ring video doorbells, Eero routers or Fire TV sticks: Amazon always discounts at least some of its own-brand products during its sales events. And the newly announced Spring Sale is no exception.

The sale, which runs from 27 March to 29 March, promises discounts of up to 40% on pretty much every category of products. In terms of its own tech, you can expect deals taking up to £50 off Echo devices, £60 off Fire tablets and £20 off Fire TV products. Amazon will also be reducing the price of the Kindle Scribe, Kindle Paperwhite and the Kindle kindle. 

What kind of discounts can you expect from the Amazon Spring Sale 2023?

According to Amazon you can expect to see some significant discounts, including:

Boxing Day 2024 sales: when will they start? 

The Boxing Day sales used to start and end on Boxing Day itself, December 26. But in recent years, we’ve seen deals appear a few days ahead, usually on December 24. And, instead of finishing on December 26, they now keep going right until the end of the year, sometimes even extending into what is now being called the January sales.

With this in mind, it’s well worth keeping an eye out for early deals, but be aware that while certain prices will drop before Boxing Day, there’s always the chance that we may see bigger reductions on the actual date. It helps to be on the lookout for deals that come with a price guarantee.

When do the Boxing Day sales end, and the January sales begin? 

This will change across the range of shopping destinations you’ll be looking at. While some retailers switch the title of their Boxing Day sales into January sales from December 27, others keep their Boxing Day deals right to the end of the month. For the most part you’ll find it's nothing more than a cosmetic change, the same deals being offered under a different name.

What is Boxing Day in Australia?

Boxing Day is the day after Christmas and, year on year, is always December 26. While in Australia it's most known for test cricket and the Sydney-to-Hobart yacht race, it's also a day that's become famous for shopping.

Boxing Day sales were mostly in-store but the last few years have shown that online shopping now beats having to line up in the wee hours of the morning outside your favourite store to snap a great bargain on something you want.

Boxing Day sales have also typically been about clothing, shoes and other fashion items, plus homewares like furniture, but lately anything has been fair game for a discount. You can find offers on practically anything these days, particularly if you shop on Amazon or eBay.

When it comes to Black Friday deals, Apple prefers to Think Different. There will be no doorbuster deals on the iPhone 14, no spectacular savings on the AirPods Pro 2, no mega deals on the M2 MacBook Pro. 

This year, like previous years, Apple prefers to offer Apple gift cards. It might not deliver the instant gratification of a really good discount, but if you're taking the long view it can help cut the cost of that iPhone 15 you're going to get next September.

The gift card amounts vary from product to product, but here's what Apple's promising for next week.

What Black Friday deals are Apple offering?

If you're planning to get an iPhone, Apple is offering a £50 Apple Gift Card with purchases of the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 12 and iPhone SE. And as always you can get a bit more off if you trade in your existing phone.

For AirPods, there's "up to" a £75 gift card with AirPods Pro 2, AirPods 2 and 3 and AirPods Max.

For the Apple Watch, you'll get £50 if you buy the Apple Watch SE. Trade-ins are available here too.

iPads come with up to £50 if you buy the iPad Air, iPad or iPad mini. Again, you can trade in your existing device (but don't expect much: iPad trade-in values aren't massive).

And there's up to £250 for Mac desktops and laptops if you buy a MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini or iMac.

Last but not least, there's up to £50 with Beats headphones and with the Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro/Air, Smart Keyboard Folio or MagSafe Duo Charger.

These aren't massive amounts of money, I know, but if nothing else they compensate a bit for the price increases across the board on Apple kit outside the US this year. If you're likely to buy other Apple kit in 2023, these gift cards can help cut the cost.

If you're in the market for a Fire HD tablet, a Fire TV stick, a Kindle e-reader or anything from air fryers to wireless earbuds and smart plugs, mark your diary for 10-11 October. That's when Amazon is apparently planning 2022 Prime Day 2: the bargain boogaloo. This one's called the Prime Early Access Sale, and its existence has been conformed by a T&C page on the Amazon website. The page has since disappeared, but not before our friends at What Hi-Fi spotted it.

According to the Amazon page, the event will run "between October 11, 2022 at 12:00 AM PT and October 12, 2022 at 11:59 PM PT."

So is this really Prime Day 2? The short answer is yes, but also no.

What to expect from the Prime Early Access Sale

We've been hearing about a second Prime Day-style event for months now, with Insider magazine reporting back in July that Amazon was planning a "high velocity" sales event to pre-empt the usual Black Friday and Cyber Monday shenanigans.

It's highly unlikely that this second event will be as big a deal as the main Prime Day, which ran for two days this summer. There are only so many big sales events that brands will want to discount for, and only so much money we can spend – especially in the current climate. But a Prime-focused sales event with the usual heavy discounting on Amazon own-brand and owned-brand products, smart home products, entertainment devices and kitchen kit seems likely.  

One thing that is clear, though, is that like Prime Day you'll need to have a Prime subscription to take part – and that could be a problem if you signed up for a free trial in the summer and then cancelled it again. Prime free trials are only available to people who haven't had a free trial in the previous 12 months, so if that's you you'll need to pay for a month's access to take part in the Prime Early Access event.

First, there was the electricity and gas crisis, then the added fuel costs and now there's Amazon Prime. It seems that prices are rising everywhere and Amazon's services are no exception. 

In an email this morning to Prime members, Amazon announced that the price of the monthly Prime subscription would increase from £7.99 to £8.99. For annual subscriptions the price increases from £79 to £95, a £16 rise. 

Amazon's Prime membership gives you a range of benefits throughout the year, including free shipping, Amazon Music, Prime Video and Prime Reading. It also gives you access to the great Prime Day deals on Amazon Prime Day. With rumours still circling of a second Prime Day taking place in October, you don't want to be left without access.

The new prices don't come into action until 15th September 2022, giving subscribers plenty of time to act, if they wish. Though some could cancel, I suspect most of us will simply carry on. If you are on an annual Prime subscription that runs out in September or October, it could be worth cancelling your membership and starting a new subscription before the September date. As although you won't get the remaining months refunded, you will save yourself £16 on the cost of the new one.

If you currently pay monthly, you can switch to an annual payment before 14th August and lock in the current £79 for the year. Even from September, the annual price is equivalent to just £7.92 a month, which is less than the current monthly fee.

An Amazon spokesperson told T3 that "the reasons for this change are increases to the operating costs of Prime in the UK." But also stressed that this is the first time Amazon has changed the price of Prime in the UK in eight years. 

Amazon also issued the following statement:

Prime offers the best of shopping and entertainment, and continues to improve each year. We have increased the number of products available with fast unlimited Prime delivery, recently added ultra-fast fresh grocery delivery, and have significantly expanded our high-quality digital entertainment, including TV, movies, music, games, and books. Prime Video has tripled the number of Amazon Originals since 2018 alone, rolling out new series and movies such as The Boys and The Terminal List, plus locally-produced originals such as Clarkson’s Farm, Backstage With Katherine Ryan, Totems, Jack Reacher, LOL: Last One Laughing, as well as adding access to Premier League football and Autumn Nations rugby in the UK. With increased inflation and operating costs in the UK continuing to rise, we will change the price of Prime by £1 from £7.99 to £8.99/month, and the annual membership from £79 to £95 per year. This new price will apply on or after 15 September 2022 on the date of a Prime member’s next renewal. Customers can view the details of their next renewal date, switch to an annual plan (at least £12 saving over one year versus monthly payments) or cancel their membership by visiting amazon.co.uk/managePrime. This is the first time Amazon has changed the price of Prime in the UK since 2014, and we will keep working to ensure Prime offers exceptional value for members.

Mark your calendars right now. Amazon has confirmed that this year's Prime Day event will take place on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th July 2022. Amazon Prime Day has become a major sales event for the company, as it sees some of the largest discounts on products across the range. 

While it's not quite on the same scale as Black Friday, it does offer a chance to save money in the summer (provided you're a Prime member). While Amazon's own products feature heavily, all areas of the site are included and other retailers have been known to join in with price drops too.

This year sees the timing of Prime Day returning to its normal July slot, rather than the earlier June date in 2021 and the later October event in 2020. However, instead of running on a Monday and Tuesday, the event has shifted forward to run from Tuesday to Wednesday. 

This means that in the UK sales are likely to start at 12.01am on the morning of Tuesday 12th July and finish at 11.59pm on Wednesday. Meanwhile, in the US, sales are predicted to start at 12.01am PST (3.01am EST) on  Tuesday 12th and finish at 11.59pm PST Wednesday (2:59 am EST Thursday).

What will be on sale during Prime Day 2022?

Amazon has confirmed that there will be up to 55% savings on Amazon-branded products, such as the Echo Show 5, Kindle Paperwhite, Luna Controller, Fire 7 Tablet, Ring alarm kit and Blink Video Doorbell. There will also be savings on its Fire TVs in the US. 

It's not just Amazon goods on sale though. Some of its biggest sellers in 2021 included 23andMe DNA tests, Instant Pot pressure cookers and Organic Plant Based Protein Powder. We also saw savings on fashion, toys, kitchenware, household essentials, sports equipment and more. This year there is also a focus on small businesses, with badges to identify them on the site. 

It's a great time to pick up those big items that you've been considering buying for some time, especially if you're flexible with the exact model. My advice is to build up your wishlist now, so you have somewhere to start. As it also means you can see straight away which of those items have been reduced.

It's the most fun I've had since Preacher (also on Amazon Prime) and shares the same delightfully bleak sensibility: this is a world where the superheroes are worse than any villains and where everything is turned up to eleven (not Stranger Things' Eleven, though – but that's another must-watch show). 

The Boys is about a group of misfits taking on some of the most popular and most dangerous humans who have ever lived, and it'll make you laugh so hard you might hurt yourself. Its new series goes live today, Friday 3 June, on Amazon Prime Video. Why The Boys is must-watch TV

The Boys is based on the comic books of the same name, which were written by Garth Ennis – who also wrote Preacher – and illustrated by Darick Robertson. It keeps the often cruel humour of the comic books (which are brilliant), and I love that it's also kept the social commentary: while it's first and foremost big, dumb, gory fun, it also has things to say about sexism and misogyny, about corporate media and fame, and about the superhero genre generally. It's also one of very few TV shows that's had me absolutely howling with laughter at extreme violence. 

I'm not typically a fan of superhero shows: the extensive collection of Marvel shows and movies in my Disney+ subscription is going to stay unwatched. But if you do like your MCU movies I think you'll enjoy the way The Boys gleefully subverts so many hero and superhero tropes, and if you'd rather saw off your own legs than endure another Avengers movie then I think you'll revel in The Boys' gleeful gore and raven-black humour.

In a recent press release, Amazon Prime Day has been confirmed for a July date this year. Following suit of Prime Day 2021, it's a surefire bet that we'll be seeing Amazon's biggest sale day around the same date.

With just over two months to go, Amazon gave some additional details within their first-quarter results press release. While the press release gives a ton of information about Amazon's latest earnings and progress, it unfortunately doesn't provide an exact date for Prime Day 2022.

Last year, Prime Day fell on Monday, July 11 and ran through Tuesday, July 12, offering two full days of incredible deals on tech, electronics, home goods and much more. While there's no confirmation that Prime Day 2022 will be on these same dates, it isn't too far off from the realm of possibility.

This year, July 11 also falls on a Monday meaning the biggest sale day of the year could follow the trend of last year. However, Amazon will most likely release the exact dates and times within the next few weeks.

Amazon's press release states that "This year, Prime Day will take place in July in more than 20 countries. During Amazon’s annual shopping event, Prime members will be able to save on products from national brands and small businesses across every category."

While we've got some time before the big day, the good news is those looking to score some Prime Day-like savings still have Memorial Day sales in the US to check out this month. As with all major sales day now, Memorial Day deals should offer similar deals on all forms of products – including Amazon devices.

But while the discounts during Prime Day hit their limit when it comes to electronics, Memorial Day will offer a wide range of discounts on home goods, electronics, outdoor furniture and more. It's also worth checking our Amazon discount codes page for reductions on products.
