The best gadgets on the planet and the biggest brands in tech, it can only mean one thing, it's time for the T3 Awards 2012 and we need you to get involved.

We've rounded-up the best bits of tech into 19 categories for the T3 Awards 2012 including phone of the year, brand of the year, tech personality of the year, app of the year and the big one gadget of the year.

We're now at the shortlist stage and we need you to get involved. Should the ASUS Padfone win innovation of the year, will the PS Vita miss out on gaming gadget of the year? Have your say on your best bits of tech over at www.t3.com/awards.

And for 2012 we've got a special YouTube treat, we're giving one viewer a chance to win the gadget of the year. Yes, you can be in with a chance of winning the most wanted slice of tech from the past 12 months. More details on that coming up.
