As ever nothing is confirmed but the new note is rumoured to come with Android Jelly Bean, a brand new form factor, 12-megapixel camera and an Samsung Galaxy S3-mimicking quadcore processor.
Word is that the latest note with have a 5.3-inch form factor superseding the current model. It's also rumoured to be the first phone to come with the unbreakable plane display.
It is a long way from being confirmed but the tech world has a pencilled-in date suspiciously close to the much mooted iPhone 5 in September. If that's the case, expect it in shops come October.
Samsung has always been notoriously tight lipped on the price of its product but expect to pay the same price as the current model.
