We've seen the HTC One V and the LG L3 and now Motorola has announced its own budget Android handset, the Motorola Motosmart.

Running a 600MHz single core processor, the Motorola MotoSmart, plays host to a 3.5-inch 320 x 480p display whilst 512MB of RAM helps run the show. With just 165MB of internal storage available, the microSD memory card expansion option is a necessity.

It's also to feature a 3-megapixel rear-mounted camera whilst Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread innards offer a dated take on the leading mobile operating system.

Motorola has confirmed that the Motosmart will launch in the UK later this month with the handset to sport a minimalist £99.99 pay-as-you-go price tag. For those not wanting the single up-front fee the device will be made available for free on a £7 per month contract.
