LG has jumped on the Google TV train.The collaboration will see a new 3D offering land with the Android based Google television service featured alongside LG’s established and well respected Smart TV platform. With a passive 3D TV offering extra-dimensional content with cheap to replace battery-free specs, the upcoming LG Google TV will boast multi-tasking capabilities with social networking, search and TV viewing functions all capable of running simultaneously. Showcased at CES 2012, LG’s Google TV offering is still some way from hitting stores, with the Korean tech giant confirming its newly announced system will hit the US later this year ahead of a LG Google TV UK release date that has been pencilled in for 2013.
