Created by Sony, the Sony NSZ-GP7 will be the first bridge box to land that overlays Google TV's interface on top of what you currently use.
The dual-sided remote, with a built-in accelerometer knows when you're using the touchpad or the full QWERTY keyboard on its other side. It'll also control your own set-top box aswell as Google's offering.
Running a version of Android Honeycomb it gives you access to dedicated TV apps such as Chrome for Google TV, and YouTube. You'll also be able to access Google Play and we're told there will be thousands of apps you can download.
The Sony NSZ-GP7 is available to pre-order now at around £200 with the first units expected to be on shelves around 16th July while the Blu-ray playing NSZ-GS7 won't be out until around October.
