The Nexus Q is a media streaming ball that a cross between Apple TV and Sonos
It’s a spherical computer essentially, designed to sit in your front room and pull media from the cloud. You can have more than one throughout the house and control them all individually.
If you're having a house party all your mates can get involved with your playlist, using their Android phones to add songs to the queue or jumps straight to the front.
It's not just music, it'll also play movies from the cloud and you can take your movies with you and play them anywhere that has a Nexus Q nestled in the front room.
On-board is an OMAP 4460 processor, optical and digital audio plus micro-HDMI outputs, dual-band wi-fi and Ethernet, plus Bluetooth.
It will cost you $299, will only be available in the US to start with. It will ship in July, with pre-orders starting today.
