BBC iPlayer is to hit the Apple iPad in app form later this week as a Beeb head leaks the February 10th arrival via micro-blogging site Twitter. Letting slip full details of the imminent launch Geoff Marshall, Interactive Operations Manager for the BBC, tweeted via his personal feed: "iPlayer App for iPad is being released this Thursday - 10th Feb. 3G connection is browse only. Browse+Playback requires Wi-Fi."
