Kenwood KVT-925DVD

More than a bit of bling?

Forget neon washer-jets, aluminium spoilers and bass tubes the size of 32-pound cannons; this in-car DVD player and TV is customisation at its classiest. Yes, it looks like any other car stereo, but turn the ignition and a 7-inch touchscreen LCD drops cleverly out of the unit (imagine a motorised garage door). Naturally, you can only watch DVDs and telly when stationary, and while it's fun for a while, the novelty of watching Master and Commander in a lay-by soon wears off. We found the screen and supplied remote a bit fiddly too. Still, as a bit of bling, it blows any of that neon crap out of the water.
