iPhone Apps

Launched July 10th 2008, the App store for the Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch is a revolutionary way for users to browse, download and purchase games and software applications for their iPhone or iPod Touch.

Presented in categories ranging from Games and Entertainment right through to Medical, individual Apps (created using Apple's iPhone SDK - Software Development Kit) are reviewed by users, and an average score collated to help advise customers of the best Apps. Once chosen, the user simply enters their iTunes password and the App will download and install itself onto the iPhone or iPod Touch's home screen, ready for use.

The App store has been a huge success for Apple and changed the way people think both about how we access mobile software, and about mobile games themselves.
