Guitar Hero, the massively popular game, allows gamers to jam along to their favourite tracks using instrument-shaped games controllers.

Produced by Neversoft studios and published by Activision, it is available on Sony PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.

The latest incarnation, Guitar Hero: World Tour was launched in 2008 and features a multiplayer band experience featuring guitars, bass guitars, a microphone and a drum set.
