Navman iCN750 satnav

Find your way, listen to music and take pictures - all with one tasty-looking satnav.

Navman is trying to move satnavs into entertainment by including a one-megapixel digital camera on its flagship navigator. The quality of its snaps isn't great, but it does save the location where each image was taken, so you can find your way back to that bijou restaurant in Provence next year.

The four-inch touchscreen is superb. There are one-touch petrol and parking buttons and a flip-up aerial. Menus are terrific and easy to navigate. The virtual keyboard is small but fast, and there's also a virtual scroll wheel. A TMC traffic module is an optional extra for £130.
Locking on takes under a minute, and guidance is excellent with spoken road names and clear turn warnings.

The camera is a smart addition to this assured unit, making navigation more intuitive. Only a cheaper price and better guidance give the TomTom Go 910 the edge.
