Magellan Explorist 200 satnav system
This garish guide will get you safely from A to B, but it's not frustration-free
If you think Northampton is just north of Southampton, you might want to think about getting a GPS device to plan future trips. This entry-level model is decent, but not without a few faults. The joystick is rigid, the menu system could be easier to navigate (we're talking more buttons than the Batcomputer) and the backlight is a nasty murky orange colour, instead of the calm light blue we're big fans of. However, finding destinations is easy, and marking your own is a doddle. Also, the map is clear and detailed enough for you to see where you're going. The price makes this tempting, but it really could have done with a better interface.
