Sony Ericsson K750i
Colin Montgomerie looks, Colin Firth performance!
Sony Ericsson's "next big thing" is this dinky business-style phone. It looks about as enticing as an accountants' conference, but beneath that rather drab exterior is a hot little stunner just bursting to get out.
This baby is light, slim and feels solid enough to bash nails with (better not, though), and the 262,000-colour screen is exceptionally clear - something you'll appreciate as soon as you start using the camera. It's a two-megapixel job that's designed to be used two-handed - just slide back the lens cover on the rear and it slips instantly into camera mode.
There's a 4x digital zoom, a camera light for darker scenes, plus autofocus and red-eye-reduction facilities. These all combine to produce the best pictures we've ever seen from a camera phone. Meanwhile, the PhotoDJ and VideoDJ options offer basic editing features, such as the ability to add effects or clip art.
The hefty 32MB of on-board memory means there's plenty of room for storing pictures, video and MP3 music tracks. You also get a 64MB Memory Stick Duo card, although you can use one with a higher capacity (up to 2GB) if you want to turn it into a truly usable music player.
Much like Bruce Wayne/Batman, beneath the sober business suit, the K750i is a gadget-toting dynamo that'll both surprise and enchant you. It's also the best camera phone we've seen yet. Go buy now!
