Love: Punchy, bright screen. Still best for email. Decent talk time. 3G and Wi-Fi for rapid surfing
Hate: Quirky operating system. Too wide for comfy or non-stupid-looking calling. Basic camera.
We say: The fastest, coolest and most effective BlackBerry so far, and a true iPhone rival.
Storm breaker: Well the fact is the Storm whoops the Bold's tush.

Love: Great look and feel. An iPod built in. High speed
Hate: Lacks talk time. Poor camera. Limited Bluetooth
We say: It's not perfect... but it's pretty darn good

Love: Gorgeous, high-res screen. Screen-waking stylus
Hate: No memory card in the box. Chunky and heavy. Tricky keyboard. Interface is fun but unreliable
We say: Too big and too slow

Samsung Omnia SGH-i900 8GB
Love: Tasty interface. Five-meg camera. Opera browser
Hate: Stylus on a lanyard is less than sexy
We say: The most stylish touchscreen phone outside of Cupertino, but ultimately no match for the iPhone

Palm Treo Pro
Love: Slim build. Responsive touchscreen. Well-spaced keyboard. Dedicated Wi-Fi button
Hate: Basic camera. Windows Mobile in general
We say: Great touchscreen, svelte size and decent features, but perhaps a bit lacking in va-va-voom
