Bonkers looking sports player.

Wacky name, wacky design... but a surprisingly practical player. Its slimline, sweat-proof case easily clips on to the skimpiest of running shorts, and it's water-resistant, so it won't go wrong when you spill Lucozade on it.

A roomy 1GB is almost too much room when there's no screen to guide you through your musical arsenal, but the blister buttons let you adjust tracks and volume without looking, and you'll probably just leave it on shuffle anyway.

As you might expect, the bundled earphones are truly rubbish and even with better 'phones it's low on detail and sounds claustrophobic. Reception permitting, the FM radio is much better.

This is a journeyman, basic sports player, at a price that's as sensible as the name and looks are outlandish.
