Samsung T10
Dancing Dachunds- it could only be the Koreans
Now we're all about quirky gadgets here at T3 towers and when the Samsung T10 landed on our desks the dancing Sammy was all too much for our RSPCA sponsoring little hearts. We'll leave the dog puns there for now, but is this little tyke barking up the right MP3 player tree? (sorry we couldn't resist).
Dog on the menu is one of the main draws for this player. Switch on and watch Sammy the dog guide you through the memory choices, before breaking into the running man when you play the latest MC Hammer song. Sweet.
Available with 2GB, 4GB or 8GB memory space, you can save the latest Paul Mc Cartney single, or the complete Beatles Anthology. Transferring your music is slick and simple, and although the player doesn't sync directly with your iTunes despite ACC support, transferring music from Windows Media Player is a piece of dog biscuit. Syncing speed is impressive. We managed to transfer Cliff's prayer (ahem) in a matter of seconds in preparation for our daily tube journey. And yes the non radio edit is that long.
Sound quality on the player is nothing to quibble about for its size. The earphones leave something to be desired, grab a decent pair of buds for £20 and you'll drown out the irritating bloke in the office that seems to be there just to make your day go that little bit slower (you know the one we mean).
Not only does this terrier play sonic sounds, it also includes video. Updated from the T9B the video quality is ace. We of course downloaded the new T3 TV on to the player. Resolution is fantastic, as are the colours, and for its screen size, videos are detailed and easy to watch.
Bluetooth capacity has also been upgraded, with 2.0 capability on this player. This means you can link with two Bluetooth enabled devices, letting you share Cliff with your mates (or a stranger) on the tube. Good times.
The T10 is a little dazzler of an MP3 player, with its siblings the P2 and the S5 on the market, Samsung seems to be shipping some quality players for our audio pleasures.
