Panasonic X60
The big gimmick here is that the case lights up in a number of hues to denote the various alerts
This is essentially a miniature GD87 (T3 80, 4/5), with similar styling and features. The 65,000-colour screen's a bit small and the 0.15-megapixel camera is poor, but the keypad's good for texting and the menus are easy to use - as is the Vodafone live! browser. The most annoying feature is the large protruding aerial. The big gimmick here, though, is that instead of an external display, the case lights up in a number of hues to denote the various alerts, from an alarm to a text message. This handset puts in a mediocre performance, but that won't bother its intended audience - young girls with small handbags.
