Zumba Fitness tops UK Games Charts for 8th straight week
Zumba Fitness sales see the dance fitness game outsell DiRT 3 to top gaming charts for eighth straight week
Marking its 11th overall week topping the gaming charts since it launched in April, the dance-based fitness game has retained its crown as the UK’s highest selling game across all platforms beating a resurgent DiRT 3 into second spot after the racing sim saw sales increase 50 per cent due to new pricing offers.
Movie tie-in Cars 2 rounded out the top three ahead of Just Dance 2: Extra Songs and Lego Pirates of the Caribbean in fourth and fifth respectively.
FIFA 11 has risen to sixth spot in the charts just weeks ahead of the launch of FIFA 12 whilst Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2 and Lego Harry Potter: Year 1-4 made a magical partnership in positions seven and eight. LA Noire and Call of Juarez: The Cartel completed the week’s top 10 all format games.
