Zumba Fitness fights off competition from Cars 2 and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean to top UK All Format Gaming Charts
In a slow week for releases dance-based exercise game Zumba Fitness has made it ten straight weeks atop the UK All Format Gaming Charts.
Whilst many of the eagerly awaited upcoming titles were given an early run out at GamesCom last week few top releases made it to shelves allowing Zumba Fitness to retain its spot as the UK’s highest selling game despite an 18 per cent drop in sales.
Following 505 Games’ Zumba Fitness onto the podium of all format games for the past seven days LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean once again fought off competition from fellow movie tie-in Cars 2.
Capitalising from the recent 3DS price cuts The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D rose from 13th to fourth in the charts ahead of FIFA 12, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Xenoblade Chronicles in spots five through seven respectively. DiRT 3, Brink and LA Noire completed the week’s top ten titles.
