ZTE Grand X UK release date sees Android 4.0 handset land
ZTE is looking to creep in on Samsung and HTC territory with the specs impressive ZTE Grand X LTE launching in the UK with dual-core innards
Chinese handset manufacturer ZTE has expanded its range of Android powered smartphones with the ZTE Grand X LTE launching in the UK with a dual-core processor.
Far from the budget market offerings the company has become famed for, the Grand X is a specs impressive handset with a dual-core processor partnering with Google’s impressive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system to form a new challenger for the mid-range market.
ZTE Grand X Specs
Launch in the UK with a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core CPU, the ZTE Grand X LTE features a fanciful array of innards with the now standard 5-megapixel rear-mounted camera partnering with a second, forward-facing snapper for well rounded imaging abilities whilst all shots can be lovingly displayed on the handset's 4.3-inch qHD 960 x 540p display.
Whilst a 1650mAh battery keeps things running, 4GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD, and 512MB of RAM also feature on the 9.9mm thick device that features relatively uninspiring, generic Android handset styling.
ZTE Grand X Release Date and Price
Available in the UK now, the ZTE Grand X is available through a selection of pay monthly contracts with Virgin Media. Those looking to snap up the dual-core device on a pay-as-you-go basis can do so by forking out a reasonable £189.99.
