Despite not having a price or a solid release date, the Blockbusters has said it has seen a record number of preorders for the Microsoft Xbox One.
Speaking with MCV, the company said that it was "delighted by the huge number of pre-orders" received so far.
The retailer said the console had broken all pre-order records in its 24 year history.
"At Blockbuster, we have a fantastic array of adrenaline-fueled console games for sale or rental," said the retailer's head of games, James Morton.
"With Sony releasing the PS4 in the near future, the next few months are going to be an exciting time for our staff and customers at Blockbuster and we can't wait to hear more details from both Sony and Microsoft at the E3 Expo next month."
The record number of pre-orders comes despite what now appears to be a vocal minority on the internet complaining about the console and many of its new features.
