Xbox 360 Slim to follow Microsoft Kinect?

Slimmed down Xbox 360 could be set to follow Project Natal renaming

Hot on the heels of the announcement that Project Natal will now be known as Microsoft Kinect, an Italian gaming website has suggested that an Xbox 360 Slim is set to be the next major unveiling from Microsoft at E3 2010.

Console Tribe has reported that the supposed Xbox 360 Slim images appeared in an advert which popped up on a number of Italian websites but have since been removed.

Spec details of the Xbox 360 Slim were also revealed which suggested built-in Wi-Fi and a 250 GB hard drive would be the most notable new features.

Further evidence to suggest that this is could be the real deal was the phrase ‘compatible with Kinect’ used in the advertisement, which means the PS3 Slim could soon be joined by a pared down version of its main console rival.

Xbox 360 slim rumours have been rife in recent months, and a Microsoft press conference which is is set to be streamed live from Xbox.com at 18.30 UK time, could be the opportunity to unveil the new gaming hardware.
