XBox 360 prices to be slashed?
Microsoft about to take fight to rivals by making 360 the cheapest third-gen console
Over at techradar.com they're predicting an awesome Easter basket of cheapness from Microsoft with £38 slashed from the price of XBox consoles across Europe.
While, it's yet to be confirmed by MS, the basic 360 Arcade console will cost as little as £150 when the expected price cuts come into play on March 14th next week.
That's cheaper than the Wii, and around half the price of the PS3. The XBox 360 Elite will also come down to around 240 of you hard earned sterling.
The predicted price slashing is a sign that XBox 360 aren't taking Blu-ray's win in the format wars (and the expected surge in PS3 sales) lightly and are armouring up for the fight to retain their status as 'the gamer's choice'.
