Xbox 360: no more price cuts
Microsoft insists the console is great value
The only people on Earth who don't like price cuts are the early-adopters. If you've just bought a brand new bit of tech, there's nothing worse than finding out the following day that a zero has fallen off the price tag.
Anyone who's recently taken advantage of Microsoft's barmy Xbox 360 price cuts can rest safe, then, that MS doesn't plan on making the white monolith any cheaper for a long while.
Head of Gaming and Entertainment at Microsoft, Stephen McGill has been quoted as saying that the 360 is currently going for a "great" price, and that he's no plans to lower it "for many, many years".
With hundreds of top drawer games available, the lowest-spec 'Arcade' model of the gaming goliath is currently going for a song at £130.

...and with some supermarkets undercutting M$'s price cuts too by another £30 or so...
I love my PS3 to bits, but I know if (when) my x-box breaks I can go out, buy another one and it'll still have cost me less.
