Xbox 360 HD-DVD priced and dated

Less than two months 'til Microsoft shoehorns Hi-Def discs into its next-gen console.

We've been lusting after Xbox 360's HD-DVD drive for months, but there's light at the end of the tunnel - it's launching in mid-November, and at a nice low price too!

For £130 you'll get the drive, a media remote and a copy of Peter Jackson's epic ape flick, King Kong on Hi-Def disc.

That pricing comes as a relief after the PS3's high-priced Blu-Ray capabilities, and the remote and film make the deal even sweeter.

We're still hearing rumbles of a proper Hi-Def upgrade to the 360's internal drive, but until then this attractively-priced add on is a must for any serious film fan.
