World's lightest mobile!
If you don't tie the VK2000 down, it might just float away!
The girls over at GadgetCandy spotted the VK Mobile VK2000, a dinky little candybar mobile that proudly sports the title of "world's lightest mobile."
It weighs in at a mere 48g and has a wafer-like depth of 8.8mm, but this comes at a price: the manufacturers have chucked out pretty much all non-essential features. But all is not lost, as the VK2000 has a (little bit) bigger brother called the VK2010, which maintains the depth but stuffs in MP3 and AAC playback, 65,000-colour screen and Bluetooth. And it only weighs a couple of grams more.
Both phones will hit the streets in March.
