After the mild confusion over tethering for Windows Phone 7, we're slightly cautious about this one, but if true means we could have our paws on WP7 soon.
Sources close to the software giant have reported that Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 will be making its great entrance as early as October 21.
While this does contradict earlier reports that the phones would be available October 11, there does seem to be a substantial amount of information available from the new source, with reports that the launch will be partnered by a major London-based radio station and Orange.
The OS which boasts Xbox Live gaming support, and a completely revamped UI is Microsoft's biggest bash yet at trying to topple the dominance of Android and Apple's iOS. With positive reactions from the tech-world it looks as though WP7 could well be set to be the comeback Microsoft is looking for.
