Asus, LG and Samsung devs get to work

After months of leaked details, spy shots and a handful of official announcements, Microsoft has today revealed that it is ready to thrust Windows Phone 7 into the hands of thousands of developers, as the OS reaches its development phase.

This signals that WP7 is nearing completion, and – following months of internal testing at Microsoft - is almost ready to hit stores. Developers for Asus, LG and Samsung handsets will shortly be allowed full access to the SDK (Software Development Kit), with a view to stock Windows Phone 7 with apps in time for its launch.
