Microsoft is to begin rolling out the Windows Phone 7 Mango update from September 1st, new reports have claimed.
Citing “multiple trusted sources,” gadget blog PocketLint has suggested the eagerly awaited Windows Phone 7 Mango software update is to launch at the start of next month but has failed to offer any concrete evidence to backup the claim.
Whilst Microsoft has previously confirmed the Mango update will launch in the autumn and bring more than 500 new features to the fledging mobile OS it has failed to offer more precise details on the software’s arrival will previous rumours hinting at a potential October release.
The Windows Phone 7 Mango release is widely expected to coincide with the launch of the first Nokia WP7 handsets which following a series of leaks look set to be unveiled next week at a joint Nokia and Microsoft event in Germany.
